The BnB presshouse Homestay is just perfect. The host are amazing, friendly and helpful. The place is well maintained and asthetic. View from the place is very beautiful. We had a great time at the Homestay.

Visited Bunkim and Neha in Oct 2020 at the Press House. It’s beautifully done! Bunkim and Neha are both into environment conversation and they’ve upcycled the whole place so beautifully and tasteful!

Extremely warm and just a phone call away.
The home made cookies, freshly baked bread and tips on when to catch the gorgeous moon rise were just cherries on the top the cake!

About the place:
Beautifully done, extremely spacious and very comfortable.
We also took our dog, Peanut, with us- he had a great time too!
It’s got a lot of light, open spaces (large drawing room and huge balcony), and of course great views.
A functioning kitchen with each bed room - equipped with all basic amenities.

About the location:
It’s nestled a little away from main Shimla, so lesser hustle and bustle but close enough to go to the Mall Road in about 10 minutes by car.

There is a walk ~300 meters uphill to get to the parking lot- would not recommend for elderly.

Overall:
Would give The Press House 5/5 for their cosy home, warm hosts and excellent views!

Very thoughtfully designed place, with all the amenities, gives you the privacy of a private room, while being in a safe residential area. Not far from the main city hub, yet insulated from the typical urban noises. Highly recommended.

The best BnB in India to say the very least. Being managed by super duper awesome hosts, Press House BnB is your very very special home away from home. Everything from the amazing upcycle work to the rooms, the woodwork to the terrace balcony is just perfectly splendid. Thank you again Press House BnB for having and I can't wait to visit again.

Beautiful place to stay, enjoy and relax. Good collection of games for kids and elders to enjoy without cellphones. Hosts are very courteous and helpful. They also spend some time with guests to help them plan trips. We enjoyed a lot in Shimla. Thanks Bunkim

What you get in a 5 star hotel might please your mind, but what you get here is beyond any rating, it touches your heart. Hosts like bankim bhaiya and his family is hard to find, the best part is that you don't feel like you are staying in a hotel or resort its just like another home far away from your hometown.

This place is the most beautiful house I have ever seen. I wish the hosts adopted me. I cannot believe how such a beautiful place can be given away for the guests. I would have never left this place.
You will find each and every thing that you need. It is hard to go and see around Shimla. I can't really pen down the feeling of happiness I felt after staying there.
Coming to the hosts, they are the most amazing and helpful hosts ever.

Wonderful and peaceful staying option, hosts are very helpful in suggesting sightseeing options and other local help, always available on phone and I would strongly recommend for everyone.
Most importantly they have wonderful books collection for all liking and board games for kids as well as adults.
Also you can directly call them to book rather than through any other website.

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE
The place is in the middle of a dirty market and construction unit. The place was smelly. As soon as you enter the house its so messy that you dont want to go further. My uncle got an asthama attack and is in the hospital today. Hosts are so inhuman that they did not refund a penny even on medical grounds, they said "ITS NOT OUR PROBLEM" so even if my uncle would die they would've not bothered. Please do your research before going as they upload all edited pics as in reality the place is terrible and DO NOT BOOK DIRECTLY FOR A BETTER PRICE, YOU WILL SUFFER.

I was a tad apprehensive especially since my parents were travelling with me. We stayed in the studio for 3 nights and it was perfect for the three of us. The sofa cum bed was way more comfortable than it looked! The place is exactly as seen in the photographs. A charming, quaintly decorated space.

The host's made us feel at home, provided great recommendations and even helped us plan our itinerary. Bunkim is very helpful, super accommodating and just a call away if you need help.

The rooms were spotless and cleaned every single day.

There is a grill and hotplate inside, a microwave and stocked fridge in the common area and enough utensils to make a meal yourself. They also have a couple of menus from eateries that home deliver.

The location is close enough to the Mall and nearby attractions.

What I liked most about the Press House is the cute library with its eclectic collection of books and boardgames. The view from the deck is beautiful especially during sunrise.

I can't think of a better thing to say than the fact that my parents who tend to be fussy couldn't find a single fault and loved our stay here.

We stayed here for 3 days, and had an awesome time at the property. Both the property and the hosts are excellent.

It was just amazing to stay here.



I went with my family we were four people. The house was awesome, had a well equipped kitchen and a dining area a bath a toilet, with a common area with real good collection of books a TV and a way to balcony which has a breathtaking view.



This place is a perfect fit for people going in groups, you have a balcony which is a great spot where you can have coffee in the evenings and talk about everything.



An awesome place for bibliophiles, the host has a great collection of books. You may have a tuff time to decide which one to pick.



Last but not the least, Host was a super nice person he made us feel like home, he knows a lot about the place and you can always take recommendations from him for food places and other places to see.he would always ask us if we need something. He made sure we were enjoying our stay.





Just one issue the parking space is bit far around 500m from the place. Make sure you have a good previously informed your vehicle driver about that. Our driver made a big mess out of it.

Going that extra mile to make your guest feel at home will be an apt brief of how we felt of our stay at the Press House.

We travelled in a group of 4 (2 couples) and stayed at the top floor 1bhk apt.
The space is beautiful, made out of wood and carved with love. Detailed attention has been given to fully utilize space and decorate it with beautiful arts. The balcony offers an amazing view of the valley.

The property is well maintained and extra care is taken for hygiene and cleanliness.

About the host:
Bunkim is an extremely nice and polite guy, who's helped us plan our trip and made sure that every moment spent was comfortable and memorable for us.
His wife and co-host Neha complements him and is jovial and friendly.
