Not good experience with a doctor. Max vaishali where doctor practices is pathetic hospital in services. TPA and admission cell is worse than any other hospital.

Visited Dr. Vimal Dassi with my father. He recommened some tests and correctly diagonsed the enlarged prostate and obstructing calculi removal that were causing the problem.

Hi all! I am a patient of recurrent nephro/urolithiasis that is kidney/urinary stones as commonly known. Usually when I had the renal colic in past, it used to get resolved by taking lot of water and painkillers within 10-12 hours by passage of stone.
However, this time around when I had this pain, it didn’t subside with conservative management. On top of that I had my final year M. D.exams in just a few days, that too in offline mode.
Oral as well as injections (intramuscular and intravenous) provided only temporary relief for 1-2 hours only. I struggled for 4 days with the stubborn stone that just refused to come out.
By that time I knew, I needed specialist’s help to get through this one.
I went to Max Vaishali as I live in the nearby area and there I happened to meet Dr. Vimal Dassi, Urology specialist, he gave me some oral medicines and advised for some tests.
My USG & CT scan revealed that the stone was stuck at the junction of bladder and ureter. I told him about my exams and Sir was very kind to understand my situation. He gave me his phone number and also the address of his private clinic so that I can save my crucial time for studying as the OPD timings don’t often match and there’s a lot of waiting period.
Surprisingly, my KFT showed a deteriorating kidney function confirmed by repeat tests. I was devastated to say the least.
I was told that I needed to undergo urgent lithotripsy with ureteroscopy with stenting to avoid permanent kidney damage. To make matters worse, my exam was just a day away.
Sir took personal care in getting me admitted in the hospital ASAP. He went out of the way to put me on O. T.list as first case next morning, though there were already 13-14 cases planned for the day, so that I can make it to my exam the next day. It was a race against time!
He told me that it’ll be difficult to give exam the very next day but I was adamant and he supported my decision.
So there I was.in the hospital ward… trying to go though my notes. However, deep down in my heart, I was scared a little bit… okay I was scared a lot to be honest!
But then, the most unthinkable, unexpected miracle happened….
Just before the OT, I changed my dress, I went to washroom and I had pain in passing urine and suddenly I saw a stone in the commode/pot! There it was, the source of my misery, my pain… finally it was out. I was ecstatic! I informed the Sister and she informed Dr. Dassi. He came to meet me, he was equally happy and relieved that I had passed the stone. Still I was kept under observation, I passed a few more stones. Finally, I was discharged in the evening.
I gave all my exams and passed with flying colors!
It was a happy ending. It would not have been possible without Dr. Vimal Dassi’s kind help.
I’m forever grateful to him for this!

Dr Vimal Dassi is an exceptionally good doctor with golden heart. He always keep eyes on details & take care of small thing during his treatment.
I came to know about the Dr. Vimal through my cousins & consulted him in Max Vaishali in April 22. He listen to us very carefully, he gone through our past reports & suggested few test. The doctor is not professional. Not even looked at previous treatment and medical history of patient.
So dont recommend to spend your hard earned money on such doctors.

My mother was facing problem with Stones (Size 23mm & 11mm) in right kidney. I visited many hospitals for treatment but no satisfactory plan for surgery & treatment was shared by them.

Finally I visited Max, Vaishali and met with Dr. Vimal Dassi (an Urologist). His diagnosis procedure was in excellent way. No extra OPD visit. He plan for surgery just after one OPD visit after completion of necessary requirements like investigations, X-Rays and CT Scan concerned. Surgery was done on 28th April, 2022 and DJ Stent removed on 23rd May, 2022. Experience of surgery was appreciable.

Now the treatment procedure has been completed in all respects.

A doctor needs to be polite and talk to the patient.

Before operation date is fixed he is very attentive.
But post operation he is least interested in talking to the patient even once. This shows lack of accountability and responsibility.
Such action brings disgrace to the profession. Very unfortunate.

My mother is suffering from lower abdomen pain so she had to admitted in max Vaishali. After CT scan doctors told us she has a lesion on left kidney, DR. Vimal Dassi guided us really well in the process and after wards she had a successful surgery. All thanks to Dr. Vimal we are very much satisfied.

Doctor fees is 800/- and he hardly give 5-6mins to a patient. No questions asked it is just patient will have to ask everything. Not at all advised to visit him. Waste of money.

I have no words to describe what Mr Vimal Dassi has done for us.
At that critical time I guess he was the hope that we really needed to move ahead.
He showed us the right path and enlighten us. He was there as a guide as well as family. I still can't believe that we are really out of that horrifying situation.

This is my first review for a doctor and am more than happy to write this. I have never seen such a good doctor in my entire life who listens to you with patience and talks to you as your friend rather than as a doctor. He is not a doctor who would just write the prescription, he will talk to you and give you the best advice. I have seen doctors who would just give you suggestions that can make them good amount of money like recommending surgery and writing various tests whereas Dr. Vimal has no such intensions he is not sitting there to make that extra money. A careless attitude of doctor towards its patient.
And you can find actually it's just a trap by big hospital doctor vimal dassi belongs to MAX hospital so the end result is surgery at Max whether it's just a minute problem it's end at surgery.
And the best thing you not only pay there consultancy fees along with their is a person available form Max Lab who is ready for the sample collection. LFT, KFT AND urine test is must whether you have just a small infection.
So please stay away from doctor.

I attended with my father for prostrate related issue. First day he only asked how many times he required to go for urination. He then advised certain test after which i visited again, he didnt ask anything to patient but said, get it operated, no use of taking medicines, after 1-2 months it will become mandatory, if you think you may take a months tablet 7 comeback.
