Government Inter College-Jhansi

I went here for the upsssc exam here you can reach simply by taking the sharing auto or you can book the auto from railway station. There is ample space for parking for both two wheeler or four, the condition of classroom is good and the washroom and drinking water is available inside the campus, there is bag facility inside that is free of cost so you need not to worry about your belongings.

It needs more improvement like electricity and other things. Government should care of these colleges.

That is a very good college and and full honest and smart teacher in this college

It's a big government school it is situated on gwalior road and there is three big play ground and very big parking area also there is a big hostle for boys it's looking now heritage look. Here is NCC, scowed guide and this school 6th to 12th standard and here is fill private form 10th and 12th classes.

I studied 1967 to 1974 in this college. I really feel proud to be one of it's student. I am we'll settled in my life, it is because an excellent education I got from this collage. At that time when I was student there, I know that building of my college is one of the finest building. It have three big play ground where I played. There was a simple stage in middle ground, I heard Nehru ji the PM had delivered speech there. There was a stage near Gwalior road boundary of a ground, where I myself saw Indira ji the then PM. So many memorable moment of my life attached with this college. Sri Om Narayan Singh was my Principal in 1973- 74. Sri J. L. Saxena, Sri. S N Prasad Sri. Shukla ji.were our teacher. Mr. Narayan was our lab asstt. Mr. Mohan was peon I remember. Wow what were pleasant days.

GIC (Govt Inter College 1921) Jhansi is a fine example of Raj architecture as well as optimum utilisation of locally available resources. My grand father, father and myself did our matriculation from this college. Of late renovation was done resulting in facelift to the building. It's spacious playgrounds, green surroundings, stone slab walls lend it a unique mix of academics & scenic beauty. Offers both Science (Maths, Bio streams) and Arts (Commerce, Arts,) courses upto 12th std. Teaching staff is trained and well qualified. Fees is peanuts, sometimes, a wet blanket for ambitious parents who link murderous fee with better quality of education. A visit to the college floods me with memories of school days-same verandah, same rooms, same corridors, same kids bubbling with energy- only faces are different, spirit continues to be the same. A warm salute to my alma mater, to my adolescence, to my colleagues some still fresh in memory, others hidden behind a veil of transparent memory.
