Chitralekha Udyan..

The only place I found in my short trip where u can relax in evening and could feel the cold breeze. Good time pass with family. Lush green with a large lake where u can enjoy boating too. Water park ride (one) is available but not in use. It looks little more beautiful when lights are on.

The Ticket Counter has been Shifted very close to the Chitralekha Udyan's Entrance. Also a Parking fee of 10/- rupees has been taken if parked in front of the Park & Tickets price is 30/- rupees, Minor tickets price is 10/- rupees.

The place is very good for children and even elders, but management has to work on it to renovate the wrecks. Can visit.

Clean and very beautiful garden with lake. Here boating facility also available. This is main picnic point of Tezpur. It is situated in the bank of Brahmaputra river. Jogging track, cycling track also available. Nice place for all age groups from kids to young loving couples ang old age personal.

Chitralekha Park in Tezpur is a serene oasis with beautiful landscapes. The lush greenery and well-maintained gardens make it a perfect spot for relaxation. Loved the peaceful ambiance and enjoyed a leisurely stroll amidst nature's beauty. Highly recommended.

Really pretty place to visit. I liked the view there. There were a lot of trees and historical objects. The lake was beautiful. I especially liked the arcade. The games were fun.

Peaceful clean, clear water, nice environment, best and must visit place while in Tezpur. With friends with family even one can visit alone too. Brahmaputra ghaat is nearby.

Chitralekha Udyan also known as Cole Park is a nice park and a place to spend some good time in Jorhat. A must visit place for tourists and locals. Boating in the water is a nice addition and had an amazing time there. Would love to visit again if I'm at Tezpur.

Fine place to go and relax and enjoy the views of the trees and pond. Ancient monuments of rock and sculptures can also be marveled at.
But maintenance is a real issue that needs to be looked at. The bank's of the pond is eroding, wooden strictures need repairs, the swimming facility needs to be functional again. For boating, the boats requires mending and new purchases to be made so that the tourists to enjoy charm of the beautiful lake on boats.

Nice park for everyone. O ne can enjoy and chill there. Various structures of stone, a fighter jet, swiming pool and boating facility is available.

I really like this place. It is beautiful place but the water in which paddle boat is available is not clean & I don't see fish inside the water. But still I see alot of mango is waste in absence of uses.

Beautiful garden situated at the beautiful city of Tezpur named after mythological character Chitralekha. Tezpur was the cultural hub of Assam.

Amazing place to spend some leisure time. Or go boating. The park is open till 7pm so it's enough time to enjoy the park. It's amazing how green the whole place is!

Good place but not in good shape due to lack of maintenance. Government should look after all the tourist spots in the Assam.

Well, wasn't a good experience. We had our tickets bought around 6: 45 pm and soon we were chased out, within 15 minutes. We didn't know the closing time, the least they could do is inform the customers that the park will close in 15 minutes? That was a waste of money and time.

Loved this place. Felt like walking into stone age. You can find sculpted pillars here. There is also a children's park and also boating facilities are available.

Better tourist location in the town. Maintenance is not at all good. Currently boating is also not available. There is no proper parking zone, but still they charge 20 rupees. Administration has to do a lot to make the place tourist friendly.

Cole Park, Tezpur is a very picturesque park near the centre of Tezpur. It has recently been renamed as Chitralekha Udyan although both names are synonymous. The name is after a famous character in Agnigarh Aniruddha-Usha love story It has had a long tradition of hosting painting/drawing competitions for the nearby schools due the various features it possesses. A replica of the famous Bhomoraguri inscription which recorded the ancient plans to build a bridge across the Brahmaputra where the current Kolia Bhomora Setu exists has been created in this park for public viewing. The park has facilities for paddle boating on the pond. It recently has added ' Bumping Cars ' to its list of amusements. Primary viewing attractions for children is a jet-fighter model Valiant MIG 21 the first supersonic aircraft for the Indian Air Force capable of travelling at Mach 2 (with engines removed and fixed) and a large concrete-made map of India (states as before year 2000).
