Beautiful and well maintained hotel in the heart of the city. Also has an oriental Resturant on the first floor, an India restaurant and a cafe on the ground floor.
Food is tasty

It's a nice hotel but the location is in a very congested area and getting to the hotel is an effort in itself. Also the hotel is located right opposite a mosque so be prepared to be woken up to the prayers on loudspeakers. The room service and the quality of food is actually nice. Overall a good experience except for the location which is a let down

The restaurant has become an add on. Even though the food is good, the service has deteriorated a lot.

Service is very poor. Hot water is not coming in evening / night and morning. After requesting in morning hot water comes. The water was with full of impurities. No buffet system breakfast. NOT LOOK LIKE A 4 star hotel. Dibyajyoti Nayak

It has become a home away from home. Special mention about the reception staffs, the ever smiling housekeeping dada, whenever I needed something they were there to help me out. I look forward for visiting you again.

Nice old hotel. Extremely good and polite service. Needs a bit of renovation of some rooms. Other rooms are well kept. Lighting needs to improve in rooms. Overall, a likeable hotel.
Situated in a very busy road, there are many shops and eating places nearby.

With 3 star facilities, they are overcharging food at 5 star hotel rates! Dinner is served till 10.30pm only - after which you have to go for sandwich etc only. Location is an advantage though as it is in main market.

What a beauty this place has got into it! Rooms are terrific and mindblowing breakfast options. One can just sit back, relax and enjoy the stay! It has beautiful swimming pool and the view to relax is just super! Lobby is exquisite with very fast check in process. I am gonna definitely be coming back to stay at this hotel. Located at the heart of the city, in a market place. Commuting during the business hours is difficult. The property is old enough and still maintained with it antique furnitures and original paintings, but the management has upgraded the rooms with all modern fixtures and equipments. Definitely a bit more maintenance will bring the property in its best look.
But the best part of the hotel lies in its dinning hall. The amazing taste of the food will make one bound to tell Wow. Be it veg or non veg, the hotel serves food of ultimate taste, which will make a connoisseur of food come back again and again. It's highly recommend to visit for all food lovers.

I had a meeting over there in their crystal boardroom and I found the place very peaceful. They have a roof top restaurant also and it's very beautiful with lots of flowers over there. Also their deserts are very nice and tasty.

Nice stay for official purpose, big room, food is good. Bar, meeting hall facilities available. Location little bit odd in fancy market but rest is ok.

Good hotels in Guwahati in four. But it's time to renovate, now it's become old, 3star hotel are much better than this.

Enjoyed the stay at the hotel. Nice cozy rooms. The cookies were tasty. The breakfast was fantastic. But, the room's windows on the top floor didn't have any protection. They need to put some grills.

This is the review for the Indian restaurant of the hotel and not the hotel itself. The food was really really good. In fact it was the best meal I had in guwahati. The service was also very satisfactory. The whole place has been decorated as if it's in an Indian King's palace from the 17th century. The charges aren't too high either.

The service is pretty good. The staff can help with different needs but also provide information on things in the city. The location of the hotel is near a bazar so things can be hectic outside.

The best north Indian food in guwahati is available here and it has been consistent for years now. Must visit the restaurant with live indian music.
