Hotel Gateway Grandeur

I recently booked this hotel for my parents and they were really happy with the service provided by the hotel. The staff was very comparative and courteous. The location of the hotel is at the prime location on the main road itself, which is really awesome. The rooms are well maintained and kept nicely.

Most pathetic hotel in Guwahati. Horrible service they provide.everyday you will face some different problem in this hotel.sometimes very dirty water coming for tap, sometimes geyser not working, sometimes they will mess with you laundry and so on.don't ever plan to stay here even if you are getting rooms at cheap price

I had stayed in this hotel for two nights alongwith my wife in room no 505. Primarily the hotel staffs is too lazy to respond to your needs. Few issues need to be addressed at the managerial level for better and satisfactory stay of the guests.
Firstly, I had complained about the AC leaking inside the suite more than once, the maintenance staff did sent a mechanic to repair and look into the matter. Despite that, the AC kept on leaking the whole duration of the stay. Secondly, the stench of the bathroom was oversighted by the house keeping staffs despite briefing them personally. There were also more issues but I have covered only two basic ones.
Lastly despite all these ordeal me and my wife had to go through, the staffs didn't bother to give an acknowledgement nor change my room. Due to this lack of improper service and poor staffs response, I had to shift the hotel to some place else.
However, the staffs were very polite and poised during the bill payment. They charged me full amount for all the services provided by them.
It is earnest request to the manager to be more responsive and proactively involve in training the staffs properly.

It’s an average hotel at Christian Bastee. It has a multi-cuisine restaurant. But it serves more south-Indian dishes than other items during breakfast to cut cost. I stayed there for 3 nights. Since I checked-in early they charged me for breakfast despite it was included in package. Their argument was that breakfast is provided the next day when one stays at night. But when I checked out early morning without breakfast they didn’t adjust the amount. It simply shows their lack of hospitality. Even being a mid- range hotel it charges huge for food and mineral water. I will definitely not book this hotel during my next visit.

It's a great property, if you want to spend your evening with tiresome day work. Nice property to relax yourself.

Nice hotel.it is at the centre of the city and near to the railway station. The food and rooms are good. Slow service. Limited options in morning breakfast.

Worthless room service, even they donot understand the name of food items which are ordered. They serve any food items, even a cup of tea, after 40/45minutes which is horrible.

Bad condition of hotel and restaurant. Nothing on the menu is available in Florentine restaurant.

Pathetic would be an understatement. Perfectly no service, no water, the food would either be over or yet to be served. No non veg, not regular room service.

Room is not worth the price lights of mirror don't work, beddings are very uncomfortable. Room has smell of moisture.

The room design are bit old fashioned. But clean rooms. Reception is nice. House keeping toooooo lazy. Had a frasuted stay on the second day. Had to check out.

Frequent visitor here, good property to stay in Guwahati with all amenities gym pool spa, rooms size are good and best part is view from rooms, must try here Asamies thali.

Best part is location, right alongside road. Rooms are spacious. Food is okay, fish provided wasn't fresh, snacks were okay. Service is good except reception which seemed way too slow. One can get better hotels at such prices.

Food was good. I had veg noodle with chilli chicken. Food though a bit costly, was definitely good in taste and enough for 2 to 3persons.

Ample room space, neat & tidy, courteous managers @ the reception, SMS service to conform reservation (which is impressive & proof to show that the room have been booked), but lack of parking space (too small), or else fine by me. (R)!

Attended a marriage reception. For such occasion, the lift capacity was limited. Food was quite good, but parking and the lift capacity in the hotel for such marriage occasions are to be considered.

It was a great experience. I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Everything from cleanliness, room service, front office, restaurants, food quality is top notch. They take very good care of the guests.

Very pathetic condition. Water leaking from the ceiling. The entire reception area was covered with water. Though it's a temporary situation, but could have been handled better. Coffee was good.

The property is located near the main GS road in Guwahati
We checked in around midnight and the check in was quite smooth.they even extended our check out by a couple of hours on request
The breakfast spread was decent and had a good variety. Did not like the tea though

A truly recommendable place. Situated in the heart of the city on the GS (Srimanta Sankardeva) road it sure is very conveniently placed. Surrounded by multiplexes, malls, business establishments, hospitals etc nearby, which makes it convinent for ever kind of visitor. The ambience, cleanliness, politeness and hospitality of the staff is excellent and surely catches one's eyes. There is enough parking place. The food in the restaurant is very very good with a wide range in the menu. The chef sure is a good one, though I didn't get the opportunity to meet him/her. Next time round I will surely stay there (HGG as it is popularly known among the localites) and will sureliy make it a point to meet the chef. Very satisfied. Usually I don't write such long reviews.

Good infrastructure bad services.
The entire hotel has only 2 irons to be provided for ironing clothes and one of them is half broken.
The intercom phones had constant buzzing sound which they wont amend.
Otherwise big rooms but again bad washrooms. Inadequate lighting.
Bathing area is very very basic.

A hotel finer than this? Hmmm nope. Not yet though. Its very elegent and very sophisticated looking, but its not that expensive if you might think it is. Its not that cheap even, but its worth it. I love everything about it. Since I'm a fan of mocktails and deserts I'd say it has appreciable menu for mocktails but for deserts it the same like always, caramel custard and ice cream etc. I'd like it if they'd add more to it.
Its a perfect place for meetings, parties (seperate halls for it) and fine dining.
Might want to try it out.

Florentine is the restaurant at this place. We had the continental section from the menu and were very happy. I recommend trying it surely

Average food received on the day of visit with regard to room service. Hotel located in the heart of city. Location si thereby good. Florentine is good with food for outisders.

Staff Service needs some polishing. At lunch, bots of ashes were seen in the air which kept fallin on my plate. May be a coincidence but still a sore sight.
