Very worst experience. There was smelly room. Feeling like a Local Lodging. There is Only specious room but not Comfortable feeling in the room. No ventilation in the rooms. Water heater was also Not working.after that they gave us hot water from other room in very dirty bucket. And room service is also very bad.
Drinking water delivery time after order = 30 min
Tea delivery time = 45 min
Food delivery time = 1 hour
Very disappointed waste of money and time

Value for money. Clean rooms, food food and trust worthy hotel. Breakfast is very good and healthy.

I recently stayed at Rajmahal Guwahati hotel, and my experience was marred by a persistent and unpleasant smell in the room. Despite bringing this to the attention of the staff, the issue was not adequately addressed, making my stay quite uncomfortable. I hope the management takes steps to improve the overall guest experience.

Best hotels in Guwahati. Rooms in hotel rajmahal have set a benchmark for excellence. Excellent behaviour of the staff right from front office to restaurant. Location is best. Deserves 5 star rating.

Very pathetic experience. Hotel is full of cockroaches and mosquitoes. No cleaning in room. Don’t stay here A. /c short circuit also happened.

First of all in my opinion the Department of Tourism must review this pathetic property and should update theproperty as 2-star.
Blunder is being a 4-star hotel they don't have Room bells.
No Hot water-24*7
Rude and atrocious Hotel Staff
All of a sudden they shutdown centralized AC system in the mid night.
Fused Bulbs in the room
Swimming pool is non operational.
Stayed out of curiousity as I've heard the really horrible reputation of it. The rooms are dirty and stinky. It's beyond just dirty. I rather live on the streets than stay in this peice of doodoo of a hotel again. NO MATTER HOW DESPERATE YOU ARE. DO NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL. COS IT IS THE WORST ONE IN THE WHOLE WORLD.

Hotel Raj Mahal is a Government of India classified Four Star Hotel situated in heart of city and near to all important business hub and tourist places, Paltan Bazar. Mr Partho Chaterjee (General Manager) and Mr Gautam Dahal (Front manager) are very helpful and committed to their work. They provide room upgrades based on situation. It's a Pure Veg, place hence not even Non-Veg jokes also not allowed here.

Great Dining space, Good Hospitality and the location and the brand it carries make us like it. But the rooms are of old furniture and interiors which require modern furnishings.

Nice rooms, insides are clean and tastefully well maintained, moderately costly. Food is costly. Overall a well managed and conveniently located hotel

Certainly one of the worst hotel i have ever been to (22 June 2019 room 617). The ac in room was slow the interiors were wooden. The windows were single glass (outside heat was comming in) with the glass tint torn from multiple places. The bathroom (worst part) did not even had exhaust fan, just had a window on which there was a pigeon nest. The whole bathroom was filled with pigeon poop smell and they chriped whole night. Was not able to change room as hotel was full, not sure how it was possible with such bad infra. The tiles in bathroom were like the one used in public toilets, the seat was in a cramped up corner. The rooms have not been renovated since 1991 so you can imagine the ambience. The hotel pool was closed for renovation for 1 year (another shocker). The only thing i liked in the hotel was the lobby. Do not know how this hotel is a 4 star, i have seen cheap oyo rooms in better conditions then this. Would certainly not recommend it to any one

It is a vegetarian hotel.established in 1992, so the rooms are somehow old school. ACs are not well working, excellent location, courteous staffs

The staffs are very humble. The breakfast served is great. You have lots of choices to take. The place is comfortable and clean.

This hotel is located in one of prime and highly crowded areas of the city. Hotel ambiance is nice. Staff are very helpful. Hotel rooms are very spacious. Refrigerator is provided just in case you want to keep water and drinks cold. Bathrooms are fitted with modern amenities. There is a restaurant but the food is costly but tasty.

Very good stay, room services are excellent with neatness, hygienic from entry. Inside room is excellent, cool atmosphere with well furnished, illuminated.
Dining hall with neat and hygienic, morning breakfast is satisfied for south Indian dishes supported by sprouted grains, fruits, fresh juices, coffee. Dinner also good with north Indian. Totally Assam cultures and Arts are gives cool to eyes of staying persons.
Required: In the view of safety, locking system is required with sliding doors (No. 314), of course CCTV around the hotel.

Good, classic hotel with helpful staff. I stayed here for 4 days for business trip. The hotel is clean, comfortable and elegant. The hotel is beautiful in classical way not the modern way. I also like the rich breakfast with healthy option. Very close to fancy bazaar and railway station. On the main road which is good. You can find lot of hotel and stores just outside. The hotel has swimming pool on the top floor which is Cherry on top. The only thing I dislike was view from the window for my room which was on 4th floor.

The overall experience is above average. Nothing very special. They offer complimentary dinner and breakfast.

Staff behavior was indifferent. Charged very high for mineral water and cold drinks. Service was very poor

I simply love this Hotel. It was beautifully managed, staffs were very cooperative. Rooms were very decent and has value for money. Food was very good. They had tie up with our Bank, so we were given special concession and complementary dinner / breakfast facilities, which was overwhelming. The hotel staff gave me special service of providing early dawn breakfast (Sehri) for my Ramadan at dot time.

Highly recommended for travellers, you won't be disappointed.

Good location, room service is good and quick. The staff is polite. However the linens are dirty, some times I feel they aren’t even washed.

Just behind guwahati railway station, that's why location wise it is perfect for travellers who plans to travel via train. Breakfast menu does not have much options.

If you look from outside this hotel seems to be very scary haunted house type. But the interior is very good. Good staff members. Good service.
