Hotel Shoolin Grand

As a marriage invitee I was there for two hours only.

It is main Road side, good parking facility, marriage hall is good.

But food quality is avarage. Not so tasty.
Employees are good

Couldn't understand why this place has a 3.3 rating on make my trip and a 4+ rating on Google.
I normally rely on Google ratings more but You have to trust the MMT rating in this case.
Other than location, a decent rooftop restaurant and history there isn't much going for this place.
Infra isn't maintained.gym an absolute disaster. Breakfast totally avoidable.
Reception staff was good though but not enough to earn a star more than 3

Useless and non cooperative management. Lift work only if current available. No response to the problem.

Good rooms. Good Food. Good parking facility. Easy to take U turn or take the forward path because of the wide open divider in front of it.

Its an amazing place, the reservation spot so beautiful, we can see from the to, it is so beautiful, we went there at 10.00 for b'day pqrty its views us the night life of guwahati so good. And we had a spectacular b'day dinner.

A very gud hotel. Staff and service r outstanding. They r always there to serve you with a Smile.

Room service was not worth.too many delays for a simple request too. Morning breakfast too had almost no options. Hope they improve on these and maybe we would come down again

Great ambiance, the staff took good care of us. The starters (paneer tandoori, fish fries, dahi kabab) were awesome. However, the main course could be improved.

High quality food. Very beautiful place with excellent seating arrangement. Prompt service but a little costlier than regular restaurant.

This experience was dreadful. Horrible food taste, took more then one hour for a plate of biryani. Gave me a specials menu where half of the item were not available and when I asked why did u give me this if you don't have anything, reply I never got. Plus I went to the rooftop restaurant with my colleagues and senior, they were making us move from one place to other. One guy said seats available second guy sent us somewhere else. Horrible coordination.
Plus while eating I saw cockroach and also lizards around us basically pest control is a big ZERO for a hotel of this stature

Good Hotel with decent ambience. Overall budget friendly with good food. The rooms are good and large in size. The amenities are good compared to place like Guwahati. Overall I would say its a nice and peaceful place.

Staff behaviour is not good they are not trained how to behave with customers as well as we were in party we ordered Al cart paneer portion we ordered 9 portn which was actually 4.5 when questioned then they agreed when I asked gravy is not there they added water be served it.very slow service too.not satisfied at all not recommend

Lovely place to have dinner. And the view from the top floor is so beautiful. In love with this place. Lovely food at a fair price. The best time to visit this hotel is at night. And have the dinner. The atmosphere is so cozy at night, blowing wind that's what a night out dinner would be.and the lighting of the venue is so fascinating. The service was good tho.

Food tasted below average! 2 star is just fr the ambience.otherwise it has nothing much to offer in terms of the price the charge.

Very good hotel with spacious rooms and amenities. Diner is classy. Price is justified as compared to other hotels with same facilities. Situated on GS road and centrally located

Why can't we give a negative rating? ! If it was possible, I would have given it. Doesn't even deserve a 1 star rating. Went there sometime back with my friends to its restaurant and the treatment we received was horrendous. Lack of decency and negligence of service by the staff. No respect is given to customers. The recent incident clearly sums up my query, "Is this hotel famous for its rowdy thugs whom you refer as waiters and the management team who beats the hell out of people unnecessarily? "

It was an amazing time. Lovely location, amazing interior, great service. 2 restaurant and 1 bar, with Spa. Will prefer to stay everytime here.

It is a beautiful place to be, there is a rooftop restaurant where we went. Its named as Da Vue. The ambience, food, staff everything is beautiful. They provide birthday or anniversary cakes also if you plan to celebrate anything over there.

A place where you will be treated well. The behaviour is only confined to Kalita cafe, spectrum bar, and Spectrum fine dine. Their staff are extremely well behaved food here is amazing. The prices are also reasonable. If you are looking for a place where you want to spend couple of hours this is the place for you

Excellent 3 star Hotel. Ambiance is good. The location is very much convenient for all modes of traveller.
There are 4 restaurant in the same building.

This hotel beats their customer when they make a complain about the service. No matter what a hotel employee should never beat their customer. You can look the video in YouTube or in assamese news channel how the hotel employees were beating their customer.

What's the Dy 365 news where the customers were assulted in the restaurant, time to boycott these kind of dangerous places. Be safe folks.

The HOTEL AND AS WELL AS RESTAURANT STAFF BEHAVIOUR is HORRIBLE. PEOPLE should STOP going to this HOTEL. We ordered NAN, MURG TIKKA LABABDAR, n BANARASHI ALOO DAM. NAN was like CRISPY like PAPAD, BUGS was there in CHICKEN ITEM. FOOD quality has became DETERIORATED n the service was slow bt they were ready with the bill n standing in front of us while we were eating. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Its a great place to visit I've been here as a trainee for two months it's staffs are really good for both guest and fellow employees. I know this hotel from inside out, foods are prepared nice and even serve nice.if you visit this place dont forget to enter Kalita restaurant and have taste of good food.

Very bad for delegates and official meets. Take years for processing simple bills. These people don't understand the significance of time.

It's a fantastic place and moreover a charming and fascinating atmosphere. Perhaps a picturesque decorum.
