Staff is supportive. Restaurant is too good having all varieties of veg food and with awesome taste.

Overall experience of staying in the hotel is nice. Behaviour of staff with customers are found to be excellent. But the sports channels of TV in room No. 571 were deactive. The location of the hotel matters most as it is located very close to both Train station and ASTC bus stand.

Rooms are clean & comfortable. Room fare is also reasonable. But the hotel staff service is not good, sometimes they behave rudely with guests.

This hotel is only claimed to be a vegetarian hotel, but here, non-vegetarian people prepare food with their unclean hands. In reality, alcohol and even tobacco have been consumed in the kitchen of this hotel.

Worth for their service and the amount we have to pay. Also the view from their front balcony gives us a view of Guwahati station with our Indian Flag soaring high

Quite nice place to stay.but except for the mishaps regarding the elevator problem. And the jeopardy which I had to take to reach my room situated on the 7th floor. Otherwise it was a nice stay.

The only reason this deserves 1 star is because of the size of deluxe executive room on a separate floor where I eventually stayed cause it was late in the night. If you are looking to stay for an overnight, in a budget hotel, this is not the place for you. Single occupancy ac room - They do not provide sheets/comforter. NO WIFI. Restaurants timing is not as per the menu, call in to try your luck. Their chef needs to take cooking course. No training of the staff but it is management's fault.

Horrible experience. Would have rated zero if possible. Took charges for AC room where AC doesn't work. Mosquito inside AC room. No internet connectivity inside the rooms of any service provider, yet hotel has no wifi. Restaurant space is under construction with exposed brick walls and marble slabs on the floor, chemical jars kept over tables, yet food being served in that construction zone instead of closing the space down. Room service of food horrible. Need to ask for basics like a clean bedsheet and towel and wait for 40 minutes for it to come. Would NOT recommend to anyone.

This hotel doesn't deserve to claim as a Three Star property. I stayed there from 22-Sept to 24 Sept. There is no wifi, the towels provided are stained, even this three Star property doesnt even care to provide clean glass and water kettle. When I checked in to room 277, the toilet was stinking badly as if it was used recently before I checked in. But I didn't have the energy to ask for another change. I had already changed as they were providing a very small normal room as a executive room and it was different from what apperared in their website from where I did the booking.over all a disappointing experience. There are far better hotels with better amenities than Mayur Hotel at the same price in Paltan Bazar area in Guwahati

Pretty decent hotel for the price range it is in. Food is a bit on costly side, but overall a very good value for money hotel.
Location is right in front of Taxi stand, and is very close to Guwahati railway station.

Old place. Now a bit run down. Service is slow and lousy. However, still popular with travelers due to its value for money prices.

The hotel looks majestic from outside and even inside- reception, lounge and couches placed. But the rooms are a big zero. Booked a non-ac room, as it was cold and the room was pathetic. Like, it looked like any hostel room and even the washroom was very, very basic. It's like, dikhne mein hotel kafi acha but rehne mein nahi. However, good for those who are looking for a low-priced place to stay. Because other hotels in paltan bazaar look more clingy than this, we opted for this one, but stayed only for one night. Two stars only because I chose to stay here.

I would give zero star. I came in after a long & tiring journey from tawang and had enquired on phone couple hours ago about availability of room. The receptionist said rooms are available. I enquired whether spot booking will be available or should I pre book. The receptionist again confirmed that spot booking will be available. I reached here at 12 am and enquired to this guy standing outside of the hotel door. He spoke to us like he owned the place. He simply told us rooms aren't available because I only enquired on phone and didn't pre book. I called up the receptionist again, he put me on hold, then one of the guys standing outside went into the hotel and he simply told me rooms aren't available. I enquired why they didn't ask me pre book if that was the case, the answer again came, like a pre recorded casette- rooms aren't available.
I can't comment much about the rooms themselves, but if other reviews here are to be believed, they're no good, especially for the seemingly high attitude the staff seems to carry.
Most importantly, whether the rooms are big or small, matters less, but how helpful the staff is more important in hospitality. So for the absolute lack of courtesy, 0 stars. Skip this and check into any of the many hotels around this area.

I found the breakfast at Mayur's restaurant exorbitantly priced. One chapati cost me Rs 23. I was shocked when I saw the bill. Couldn't say anything though!

We have stayed for one day only, the checkout time was 12 pm as per rule. But our flight was 6: 45 pm in the evening so we requested to use the cloak room but they denied.

Very nice and wonderful atmosphere.good ambience.clean an tidy rooms. One cons which took my attention was that the staff cud ve been a bit more cooperative

Within 500 rupees mayur provides single deluxe room i.e; non ac room, tv with dth, attached bathroom, room service. The atmosphere of the hotel is friendly. The behaviour of the hotel staff was elegant

Good hotel and the staff with tattoos working as the service desk at the reception should be more polite.

This is a budget hotel. The room service is a bit slow. And the quality of the food provided by them is not to the best of the quality. Other then that the rooms are big. Nothing special to pen down. Reception doesn't gives a fare impression of the rooms and the services. Reception is well decorated. We had to ask for our toiletries. Not recommended for long stay.

The stuff members are not true to their words and more over they're behavior is not acceptable. They literally charged 2000rs extra for a room that we haven't even used, we didn't have a hint as well that the particular room was given to us. Worse experience. Plus, the restaurant down there costs so much for a single item.

Food is too costly. Veg thali is good but chilli amount is high. Rooms are normally clean. Every time I booked, the phone was not working & also the receiver will be provided when asked and then also a few channels will be there. These are the hotel management techniques.

Near to the railway station and it is good for those people who halt at guwahati for transit purpose.

I am a regular to this hotel. Judging on the location and the room rent, it's a good hotel. But there are several issues none the less. There is a serious need to revamp the services to keep up with the competition. Soaps and toiletries should be kept available in the room when its made vacant. There are hell lot of mosquitoes, so really there must be something wrong with the sanitation nearby. Either mosquito net should be provided or goodnight liquidator should be there. I was unable to sleep at night due to mosquitoes on multiple occasions. I will still recommend this hotel for overnight or short term stay. But unless it doesn't get more competent it shall continue losing customers.

An old reliable place. Good vegetarian meals, affordable rooms and very close to railway station. Direct bus to airport just 50m away every hour. What else could one ask for.

The hotel is quite good and good for family. Specially the food here is very good and of good quality. The price here is also affordable and probably anyone coming to visit should stay here.

Excellent location, walking distance from Guwahati railway station and just opposite to ASTC bus depot. Moderate prices, clean and good environment for solo and family trips.

Deluxe rooms are so so. Reached hotel at 12 in the night. Security staff helpful. Staff in general cooperative. On line booking facility is good. Only thing is the room allotted on 5th floor for senior citizen.ofcourse though lift was there.
