They need to learn a lot about hospitality and soft-skill. Management, managers and reception staff should take some professional help on soft-skill. While the housekeeping and security staff are exceptionally good at their job, the reception staff do not know how to behave in a civilised manner.

Taste of food is pathetic, especially the Indian Cuisines.

Call up hotel in advance to reconfirm your reservation to avoid last minute disappointment. They have history of last minute cancellation from their side.

This is a huge estate and very well maintained and is a contrast to the surrounding decayed places. Food is excellent and the staff are very efficiently friendly

This resort is now managed by Mayfair Hotels and a five-star property. Things are totally different from what it was earlier. The restaurant is very upscale now. Buffet lunch will cost you around Rs. 2200/- per plate after GST. No more accessible to general public.

Best 5 star resort near Guwahati at Sonapur.its now known as MAYFAIR SPRING VALLEY RESORT.the location, rooms, restaurant etc are of top notch. Huge area.luxury everywhere.newly renovated after the takeover. The food quality is awesome but price is also 5 star. Good for big company meets. Evening time roaming/walk inside the resort is relaxing amidst nature and no pollution.

The place is nice. It's a huge resort and is quite well maintained. The only defect is the food and service which is not just bad, it's pathetic. Can't get worse. I ordered chicken hakka noodles at 12: 50pm and received my order at 2: 10 pm and after all that waiting, I received a veg hakka noodles which was literally COLD. Cold as in it was taken out from refrigerator. Most probably it was from yesterday's batch. I was calling the waiters but all of them literally just make an eye contact and turn their heads. My rest of the family members ordered biryani, which too came late and it tasted tangy, indicating that it was from yesterday too. After innumerous callings, one of the waiters came and took my noodles back and I received a chicken hakka noodles after around half an hour more. And just so you know, I paid 300 INR for 1 plate chicken hakka noodles, and trust me, you'll find way better noodles at other places at prices literally lesser than half of what it cost here. Very dissapointed with the food and the staff. Could be lot better!

Very poor service as on today 4th April 2021 after a long time I take my family there but I was strange to saw there were nothing to do and we have to wait for almost 1& half Hour for the lunch to be served and the food was pathetic

Had a good time, cozy place, big area neat and clean.like this place very much.only concern with restaurant other thing is fine.should improve the quality of food as well as interior of restaurant specially furnitures.this is my suggestion only.

They don't know how to serve food.they were giving cold biriyani Tandoori.my experience is very bad here

Resort ambience is pretty but the rooms were not maintained properly. There is lot of scope for improvement. Food quality is awesome.

Good location, nice room etc, Only issue is it's not away from the highway & cannot be located easily.

Talking about the overall experience it was okay. They haven't added much emphasis on the food and interiors of the restaurant as much as on the outdoor surrounding. The garden and everything is well maintained except the restaurant which i feel kinda lacked in cleanliness and space. The food was below average for the price you pay. When i visited i didn't find too many people as much as i did back in around 2009, maybe because of the time of the year

I was looking for single day trip with my fiancé in quite and clam place away from busy city life. After getting reviewed from one of my friend I'hv booked room in this resort. And I must say it's quite a good choice. The rate is little bit high but staff behaviour is extremely good. Food cost is reasonable and room ambiance is very very good I must say. I will look forward for a full family visit next time

I have gone here with my friends and I have gone many times more than 5 times but I don't feel boring. It is not so expensive

Somewhat expensive. They take entry fee which need to be adjusted in restraunt bills only. Place is scenic but they should not take entry fee for just entering in their campus

Good but need improvement, sports activity very less, food is good, good hospitality and we'll maintained campus

Not too far from Guwahati, a nice place to be away from hustle and bustle of city on weekend. Good setup and lush green surrounding soothes the eyes.

Worst experience ever. Went to restaurant, it was almost occupied.no body bothered about us, the staff not caring. Table not alloted inspite of waiting. Ultimately left without eating. Will never visit n recommend others not to go there.

Worst service. There was no water in toilet and the shower was broken almost. I called 3 times the receptionist and got no response. TV was not working too. Finally i checked out without having the shower. Stupid staffs. Never ever will visit this place. There is no maintainance of the property.

Worst experience.restaurant foods cost are too high and low quality actually never had such before and didn't expect such atleast from a resort.and management are frauds, items serve is not that as mentioned in the menu.they are just dacoits in songle word.will never visit in life.

If you are visiting it randomly on weekends, the first thing is you have to pay an entry fee. The food is definitely costly here. Overall, it has an average scenic view and yes it is located in Sonapur. It has recreational option for children.

Best place to hang out with friends or family. With splendid food choices and it's a natural heaven.

Place is awesome. Behavior of staff are impressive but I am disappoint by the restaurant staff as I have to wait for an hours after my order to be serve on my desk and each time I required any item I have to approach to the staff member instead of staff member should approach me. All our office staff were very disappointed by restaurant staff.

Food is not upto mark.but overall nice place.nice scenery, nice rooms.nice service.rooms are large.banquet hall is also have great space.lots of place available for parking.

The place is very beautiful. Amidst the nature. But the food they provide is not as good as its price.

The view of the resort is magnificent specially in rainy days. Awesome place to hang out with your loved ones.

No elephant, camal and other ride no Wi-Fi in room. No tea kettle, no test food. Totally all thing bad experience.

Very bad services. Particularly I don't like the rule of taking 100 rupees entrance fee, as if someone don't have food their, you will be at lose. Only looting the customers.

We went for lunch and we didn't stay there.we sat on that huge crowded dining area, which lacks that "resort" atmosphere.
We ordered our food, which took them an eternity to bring it to our table and above all, they are so unprofessional, they served us complimentary 'papad' and then after a bite.a waitress took back the plate.after complaining, she gave back the plate.
And ya, dear management, pls give your staffs some "memory enhancing" pills.they keep messing up things.

Worst hospitality at the food house. Waiting time is so high. No staff to take lunch order. No response to customers. Poor food quality.

Not good at all. Wastage of money. Restaurant is. Too expensive foods. For eg. Puri sabji is for Rs 180, which is max 100 outside.

We ordered biryani for Rs 350 each plate. We got quality less food. Could not eat bcoz of getting some smell from the food.

Camel, Elephant nothing was there.

Place was good for spending casual time, maybe a walk with loved ones and food was definitely good if not the best.

The place is good to spent time with family n frnds. Entry fee of rs100 per person. Food is good bt prices r a bit high. There is boating included in the entry ticket n i heard of elephant ride there bt recently i didn't find it there is jst a single elephant there.

Beautiful landscaping! Food a bit costly but a very lovely place to visit! They have an entry fee 100 too! They generally have elephant rides too yesterday when I went it wasn't there though! Overall a good experience

Very poor service! Food quality has deteriorated badly! Earlier when I use to visit this place I make sure take a cup of coffee there because it was pretty good. The really sucked bad time. After complaining they bought another cup of coffee but the taste was just the same. Less of coffee and milk and more of water maybe.
