I recently stayed at vishwaratna hotel guwahati andd unfortunately, it was a highly disappointing experience. From the moment I arrived, I encountered numerous issues that made my stay unpleasant.

First and foremost, the cleanliness of the room was subpar. There were visible stains on the mattress, the bathroom had mold in the grout, and the bedding looked like it hadn't been changed properly.

Moreover, the customer service left much to be desired. The staff at the front desk seemed indifferent to my concerns and were unhelpful when I tried to address the issues with my room. It was clear that they lacked proper training in handling customer complaints.

Furthermore, the amenities promised on their website were either nonexistent or in poor condition. The Wi-Fi was incredibly slow, and the breakfast buffet was both limited in options and low in quality.

Overall, my experience at vishwaratna hotel guwahati was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The lack of cleanliness, poor customer service, and inadequate amenities make it clear that this hotel does not prioritize the satisfaction of its guests.

Worst service a hotel can have is this. We checked in at 10: 30 pm and next day we asked for checkout time by 2 hrs delay they denied. Room was also sooo small. The lady in the reception is very rude

All is good for this hotel except it's location, very crowded place & keep fighting for entering to hotel due to heavy traffic & narrow approach.

1) Very very bogus hotel.
2) Very less parking.
3) Very congested entry and exit
4) Ventilation very poor. There is no ventilation to toilet of any room which is very serious problem.
5) No buffy breakfast, lunch and dinner.
6) You have to order food and it takes too much time
7) Reception is at 2nd floor which is also inconvenient. Everytime you have to go to 2nd floor and then on floor where your room is.
8) No any view or poor view from any room. Windows of many room opens in duct
9) On dt 29.6.23, intercoms were not working which caused very inconveniences
10) Unless and untill you tell them, they would not carry out housekeeping of room by their own.
11) Very old type hotel. Washrooms are dirty.
12) Afterall, it is not 3 star hotel but it is minus star hotel

I stayed for two nights. I found here Specious and clean rooms, pure veg breakfast was amazing. Hotel located in perfect location.

My 1st two stay was ok but this third time it was a horrible experience.
1. I'm not getting the room that I've book one week in advance.
2. The room im getting also was not comfortable.
3. Room service was aslo very poor. I'm not getting what I've ask for two times.
4. Only breakfast was ok.

Excellent stay and thoroughly impressed with the hospitality. Highly recommended to all whoever is planning to visit Guwahati. It's worth the money you spend as you get it in return. So, I would likely to go ahead and give a big yes to all. Thank you for your service Vishwaratna. Would like to visit again

The room was clean but smelling. Access to transport could be arranged by the hotel for inmates as it is deep inside the city. The food was good.

Had an awful experience in the reception.they took a group photos for security reason which is not usual even after checking our ID's.and we booked 3 rooms in advance to which the receptionist told us to wait for one room and told us to take two room for few hours.and we were not contact for the last room and had to manage only with 2 rooms for our stay at the hotel.the waiters are not that polite.yah but the rooms are neat and clean.

First of all I had booked for a deluxe room, not at all good, smelly, dark and mattress is like the hardest one i have seen ever. Well upgraded to executive room, irritating noise after turning on the fan and AC (watch the attached video), no plug point to charge your phone except one in the bathroom but that is also broken (see the attached pic). Had lunch in their restaurant, prices are in higher share de so thought we would get good quality food, first they served the salad (morning shows the day, look at the attached pic), frustrating, called the manager but after getting this complaint he ran away, no one knew where he was: -D

The location was in the heart of guwahati, AT road.

I have visited one party in this hotel they served food every food is fantastic But mutton curry is smell bad.mutton is very old stock and meat was very bad smell

One of the cost effective three star hotel in the heart of the city. Food in the restaurant is delicious, bar in the hotel is also good. Enjoyed a lot there

Hotel Vishwaratna at AT Road, Tokobari is located very near to Fancy Bazar. There is underground parking facility which gives relief in this congested AT Road. The tariff of room are moderate. The staff are professional and good behaviour with guest. In rush season, the room availability is problem. Otherwise the stay in the hotel are comfortable.

Excellent stay. More than you expect. Maa Kamakhya temple is easy to reach, car directly entries infront of Hotel's lift area, exploring local market is also very easy. Food is delicious. Little bit costly but the food tastes so good that the price doesn't go up. Hotel is clean & tidy.

Decent hotel. Service was great. The restaurant serves decent food as well. The rooms that we got were a bit on the smaller side, but it was okay.

The rooms are good. A few minor but most useful things are missing. I really liked the cuisine. Good and tasty food at a reasonable price.

AC and fan had no control on their temperature and speed respectively.flush in toilet was not working properly.geyser was also stopped working so their staff gave us buckets of hot water.refridgerator was also not working properly and after all kit for tea making was delivered before checkout.overall whole stay in this hotel was pathetic.

Great Hotel.
I have been to a lot of parties here.
The banquet halls and party halls are well decorated and the lighting is very spectacular. They have a lot of space and can be used for weddings or other grand events.
The parking space can accommodate upto 100 cars or more.

Pathetic! I booked for 2 night stay but i just changed my hotel the next day.they dont know how to deal with the guest.the elavators are of late 90's.defintly not if you are going with a couple or with a family

I was fortunate to get an upgrade in this hotel. The executive room was amazing in its size with a big L shaped sofa, comfortable beds, large bathroom. The buffet breakfast had all variety and it was one of the best I have visited. Thanks the management.

I am frequent traveller in the city of Maa Kamakhya. I stayed at many hotel here at Guwahati. But I always prefer to stay at hotel Vishwaratna bcoz of its cozy rooms, excellent service n yummy foods. Be it in personal trip, be it business trip, this hotel is mera No. 1 choice.

Centrally located hotel. Near to kamakya temple but it is getting old needs renovation. Food is very costly and taste is just average. Front office staff is always welcoming

Today I took a deluxe room but no shaving kit, comb, paste, brush was given. Even cable TV is not working. No response even after requedting. Highly disappointed

Room and it's services are good. Restaurant is under renovation. Currently it has very bad wash room facility. Visited on 30Mar2019.

Dear All, I booked this hotel on reviews, but When I Checked In it was different. The room I alotted on fourth floor, when I entered the wash room it was nice clean and tidy, there was strip of Sanitising and Hygiene on toilet seat, when Opened it was dirty and the excrete was not flushed. On my complaint they changed the room. It was nice.but when asked about wifi they in the morning said server down will available in the evening. When arrived hotel in the evening at that time Cable was also not working.wiFi was also not there the same excuse server down. So No Internet, No Cable and No other services. Very Bad Experience I am moving to other hotel. Beware about the these facilities even after paying premium prices. April 7 me hum iss hotel me stay kiye the iss hotel ka manager hotel ke through se car hire karwaya tha. 8 din ka tour for visiting arunanchal Pradesh, assam, and meghalaya aur viswas dilaya tha ki aap pesa bhi chod denge gadi me toh wo aapko lauta dega.sub ghoom kar aye tub train time hogaya tha mera mobile uske car me charge ho raha tha
Wo driver ne chura dia. Phil v hotel ne kuch action nahi kia instead ussne driver ko cover up karne ki kossis kia.

Not worth 3 star, compared to hotel Nandan, where I stayed few months ago, quality of service and food is just a bit on the lower side as per my experience

Parking is not an issue here,

Quality is getting down day by day. Some rooms are good. But before checkin please see the tax structure. They might charge you "Service Charge" which is optional. And for same room type they will charge you different rates. I am a corporate customer. And they did this multiple times with me. Currently breakfast will be provided in bar and you can smell alchohol smell as soon as you enter, tables will be mostly dirty. Consider all the details and check in.

The party was super. Great food. We had authentic Rajasthani food menu selected for the party and they lived up to our choice and their reputation. Service by the attendents was also very quick and hot food was served.
