Bird Sanctuary

All the attraction has shifted to the bird park near aukna lake but if you are Looking for Peaceful place to sit with the beautiful sound of birds this is a good place.

It's scam. Their is no bird sanctuary. You will see the sanctuary written on board only an it's worst than the society park.

Beautiful place to visit to this bird sanctuary. But currently this bird sanctuary has been closed. So, this place disappoint me. But garden is green and clean.

This place is just breathtaking full of greenery and parrots. You can also study peacefully if you don't find any couple kissing each other

This is one of the hidden gems of Chandigarh.

Visit during dusk and hear the chirping birds. Their number is astonishing given that it is in dead center of an urban area.

City Bird Sanctuary Chandigarh or Parrot Bird Sanctuary Chandigarh is a bird sanctuary situated in sector 21 of the city of Chandigarh, India. It is primarily habitat of parrots. Hundreds of parrots live here. They fly in flocks in the morning and evening from here. There are two parks adjoining to this sanctuary. Behind the bird sanctuary there is a lots of PG for boys and girls. This area is very good for students.

Simple park with indigenous birds. This is an eco sensitive area with good facilities to conserve the birds and give them a natural uninterrupted habitat.kudos.

Very nice place to visit. But in the evening closing time is too early, it should be remained open atleast up to 10 pm.

It's just a simple park. Only local birds are visible.migratory or special birds are not visible

Well worth a visit, beautifully maintained grounds with so many varieties of flowering trees. We took the boat tour and saw crocodiles, bats and many kinds of birds. Quiet, clean and peaceful.

Its really gud and a peaceful place if u are the one who love to read the book in an isolated place

There wasn't a any Bird and people use that park as couple place. Not good.
Park need maintenance.

You can count the no.of bird specie's at here. Different different but very beautiful and wonderful types of birds.

I liked it because it had soo many parrots in evening and there chirping was very soothing.but there were many stray dogs.

It’s a beautiful peaceful place in the heart of Chandigarh and hope that it is preserved.

I recommend that it is grown or expanded to other nearby parks as well.

A piece full place to get a complete boom of relaxation. The chirping sounds of different beard's nd specially parrots give a blessed feeling

Like ordinary parks in Chandigarh, u will not see any bird here, but a quiet place, peaceful place, occupied by trees, nothing special about it
