Food is ok. Ambience is really bad. However I see huge rush, it seems it is popular with local.

Not a very happening place but at last is the taste that matters.they serve authentic South Indian food.must try

Ordered idli. It was not hot, only warm at best. Sambhar was ok. But chutneys served were stale. Highly overrated place.

Both taste and service has been degraded significantly. Last time was disaster, I ordered 3 masala dosas and first they delivered 3 Mysore masala dosa and then after 30 mins they changed it to masala dosa but gave only 2. Later I got frustrated and decided to leave the place.

Taste was like seriously compromised. The filling was tasteless, only yellow plain potatoes with very raw cut onions and ginger. No salt, no pepper nothing. Simple boiled potatoes with salt and turmeric. I was seriously disappointed as I was their regular customer since last 7 years. I even remember the days when it was a small 1 floor restaurant. The hospitality was top notch and the taste was nearly similar to what I have tasted in Murugan idli restaurant in chennai.

I was craving for eating authentic south indian food.found this place and visited here.one of the best south indian food i ever had in Chandigarh.tried their Uttapam, idli sambar and filter coffee.as i stayed in south for 5 years.i can say that taste is very close to authentic south Indian.

Nice and hygienic place with air conditioning sitting. South indan food tastes the way it should be.

It's a little crowded. Loved the food and ambience. The menue items are really tempting. The masala dosa was superb. The sitting is on ground floor as well as first floor. The staff is also very polite and helpful.

One of the best places in town for South Indian food. Dosa, Vada, Idli, Parotta, Rava Kesari. Everything is nice and prices are good. This is one of the very few places you can get upma and good filter coffee.
Go visit or order online. Will be worth it.

A good south Indian restaurant with authentic south indian dishes and flavours. The chefs are real good. The downside is the sitting and ambience of the place.

The place is always packed with the customers. The staff tend to lose the table as there's rush every time. I've been there a few times and I've never found a seat on arrival. There's always a queue. Apart from the crowd, this is by far the best south indian restaurant in the area.

It is a small restaurant fresh made south indian delicacies is served with good filter coffee. For coffee love please do not keep expectation too high.

Have been visiting Karthik for almost 8 years now. The Quality of food has only improved over the period of time. The Dahi Vada and Medhu Vada are a must have. The Quality of Coconut Chutney they serve is really nice.

It's OK place. I didn't like Sambhar much. However Dosa (ordered 4 different) were good. Given that here not many options for South Indian, it must be given a chance.

A bit tastier Sambhar will be too good.

I have been coming here since 6 years now but thes taste of dosas have changed a bit as they use too much oil now, so the dosas become soggy. I will suggest them to use less oil rest everything is fine.

I have always liked Karthik but lately they seem to be taking their popularity for granted. The food is served in a huff and is extremely spicy, so much so that it causes a storm in your stomach.

Love the idli sambhar chutney were good.
I found it little spicy but overall you can find authentic south indian taste at a very reasonable prices

There is two kartik so we visited one at the corner. The dosa was fine but sambhar was not as good I we thought. You can go sometimes. But level of dosa is not that great if compare with sagar ratna Or sector 23 jallandhar sweet. So that's the reason I gave 3 stars. They should improove sambhar n dosa quality.

I went there once before but this time it was the worst experience, the rawa masala dosa was like burnt from one edge and the idli Manchurian was pathetic that was sour in taste. I would never recommend that and the staff was very fine when I called them up to tell the taste. Worst experience.

Yes this is a Authentic South Indian food restaurant in Chandigarh. I think this is the only authentic South Indian restaurant in Chandigarh with the Best Filter Coffee @ Rs 30 only.

Today we had ordered two mix utpann and paneer dosa. All the food served was unhygienic and sour in taste. The matter was complained to the manager, but get no response. The paneer filled in the dosa was very sour khatta and vegetables on the utpam were unhygienic.

Visited this restaurent first time for dine-in. Food was good but not as expectations built after few reviews from my knowns. Crowded due to less sitting arrangements. Staff is good and polite.

It was a good experience. We ordered masala dosa, mysore masala dosa, set dosa with rava curry and paneerium. All dishes were good. You can have a visit there and try.

Good service, nice management. Sambhar is delicious. I didn't like rawa dosa, as it was soft, not crunchy. Rest were perfect.

Going to this place since 8 years. Quality is going downhill and recently crossed my threshold of minimum quality requirements. Hopefully my last visit was "last". No hygiene Nothing.

As their bussiness is increasing quality of food special Sambar and chatni is going down and as you all know that south indian food like dosa, uttapam and vada, idli are incomplete without sambar and chatni and due to heavy customer intake at this out let they use to mix water in their samber and chatni.
Which shouldn't be done by them as they are time tested and trusted one.
Staff efficiency is also very low.
They serve you water after many remainders.

Good place to visit specially ring paratha. Good place for South India food. Quality of preparation and cleaness need to improve.most horrible thing about this place is condition of plates- rotating 360 while eating. Second insufficient space for dinning due small restaurant. Que system made by owner is most horrible thing.but ring paratha is best as per me.

Average to Medium Place for South Indian Dishes (Tamilnadu Cuisine Style). Medium Quality. Generally Crowded in Peak Hours.

One of the best south indian food shop in Chandigarh and Mohali. Service is too good. During lunch hour yo will face some service issue due to rush.

Good south indian food. Reasonably priced and good service speed. Better option to dine in than order out.

Serving size good. Can be neater. Authentic sambhar. Appam served only after 7pm. Should increase the seating area. Extension coming up I think.

Never expected I would eat such a good south indian food in Chandigarh little expensive but no issues.

The quality of food is not good as it was before.sambhar taste and colour is like as we are eating in a local food stall not in a renowned restaurant.the chutney is too much diluted so lacking flavour.

Delightful south indian food shop. Everything is good and taste has a slight touch of Punjab. Staff is also very well behaved. Since this place is very popular one may have to wait for sometime.

Desi ghee mysore dosa is a must try. Podi dosa served with gun powder filling is also one of my favorites. Authentic south Indian flavors. Enough seating area. Avoid rush hours but there's always a table for 4. So if you are dosa fan or have a craving for south Indian, it's one of the best places in Chandigarh

They serve good quality south indian food and the outlet handles moderate amount of crowd all the time. It could be possible that you will not find a seat as soon as you go there, though I suggest you should wait or you will be missing on some very fulfilling food. The waiting time could seem longer to some of the people, but the staff and the manager try their best to shorten it for the customer with quick service time.

Best South Indian food place in Chandigarh. It's authentic, but tastes really well. The sambar and the chutney are both no less than perfect.

It's always difficult to find good South Indian food in North but this place is an exception.
