While the place has its charm, the building could use a little upkeep and maintenance (mainly the ventilation) to make it worthy of the heritage it hosts.

Some historical documents and artifacts. But a very basic display center No air conditioning and plenty of dust everywhere. There are a couple of very basic models and intresting letters to PM and PM's letters to CM. There is an admission fee

Especially pictures of letters and drawings that can be seen in the architecture museum. No added value. There is certainly no reason to buy a ticket for photography in addition to the entrance ticket.

Need to be made more involving with some guidance for common layman. Has a hidden cafeteria at the back end!

For those who are interested in Le Corbusier the architect and his role in the conceptualisation, planning and building the city of Chandigarh, this is the spot. The city's history and Corbusier's legacy lie intertwined here.

Sitting area is nice but it's priced heavily. I did not find it worth spending that much there.

Le Corbusier Centre

This is a museum inside which is kept similar to the times of the British. Like chairs, tables, meeting rooms and many more to explore and learn inside this museum.

As one can guess from the name, this museum is dedicated to Le Corbusier and his crew, who were responsible for designer Chandigarh. One can find drawings of the city, along with discarded concepts, blueprints, and photographs of the process. Some exhibits also shed light on how the logo of this beautiful city was decided.

An incredible piece of history curated here! Chandigarh was conceptualised by Le Corbusier and his team at the behest of Government of India. The drawings, concepts, real furniture, blue prints, and pictures of development of the City Beautiful is carefully kept here.

An absolutely gem of a place to visit if you are an art connoisseur, history buff or architecture person. A must visit for young students to learn how a dream is brought into reality. Unfortunately, India could never replicate anything like Chandigarh in the past 70 years even with such a great example to emulate.

Only if you are are interested in architecture and want to see his work.but Nothing else is there.

It's the place where Chandigarh was designed. Chandigarh is a beautiful city and a detailed planned city. Le Corbusier was a mastermind. He and his team of architects made it possible for us to live and witness a city like Chandigarh. It is a different feeling visiting the place.

Great place to visit if you want to know more about the history of Chandigarh city. Architects and Designers must visit it, very calm and soothing place on weekdays.

An excellent centre must visit for visitors who care and appreciate architecture and history. Not reccomended for non serious people.

It's a good place to visit and to know very basics about chandigarh history.
But government need to be more focused to maintain the museum beauty.

This is the building which was le corbusier's and his team's office during the construction of Chandigarh. A Must visit!

Le Corbusier Centre has been set up by the Chandigarh Administration, at the old Sector 19 office of the city’s architect, Le Corbusier. The Swiss-French architect used the office while conceptualizing the city almost six decades ago.

 

The Centre displays and exhibits the life and works of Le Corbusier, so that tourists and future generations may be able to acquaint themselves with the rich cultural heritage of the city.

 

The main aim of the Centre would be preservation, interpretation, research, display of the works and legacy of Le Corbusier.

 

The Le Corbusier Centre and three Souvenir Shops at Sukhna Lake, Le Corbusier Center and Rock Garden, are being run successfully under STEPS (Society for Tourism and Entertainment PromotionS).

Original furniture, articles and letters written by the Architect & the then Prime minister Mr. Nehru are all preserved and maintained well.

The place was not properly cared about by the administration. The presentation of the items and artefacts could be much better as it represents history of chandigarh. Also there was tall grass present in the backyard.

A must visit place for an architect or student doing architecture, you can come to know all about mr. Corbusier and also about life of an architect, journey and problems faced by an architect and also the importance of an architect

One of the must visit places for Tourists. If you are a native of Chd and Haven't visited yet, then u must go there to rediscover the rich architectural legacy that Chd embodies as it's soul and spirit. The slopes and authentic Corbusier furniture lend the place a unique Indo-French vibe. Only a croissant n coffee are amiss!

Chandigarh's heritage building. It also houses Chandigarh Lalit Kala Akademi's studios for artists and visitors can see artists at work. A heritage canteen to enjoy snacks and a souvenir shop to collect memories of the city beautiful makes it a perfect place for tourists and art lovers.

We really enjoyed seeing the spaces in which Le Corbusier and others worked, sketched, planned, and discussed the planning of Chandigarh. There are some original pieces of furniture (stools, drawing tables, chairs), as well as archival materials displayed on the walls. Although we were inspired by our visit, these documents and photographs deserve proper conservation and preservation for future generations.

A must see place to marvel at the architectural skills of the renowned Le Corbusier and his outstanding contribution to the building of Chandigarh which stands as a testimony to his vision and designing skills

Still required guide required good maintaining i am civil Engineer i took to hardly 1 hour to under stand but common people require easy guidance for understand.each photo required explain what is that truly nice work from le corbusier to develop chandigarh such wondering city he deliver it what he thinks he did it

Chandigarh is quite a unique city. After partition, the Indian half of the Punjab was left without a capital, Lahore being lost to Pakistan. This museum is packed full of interesting displays about the whole development of the new capital, including the source of the name, the original designers who had to pull out, the layout plans, etc.

Not a super popular spot but totally should visit here. You can know more knowledge about the master Le Corbusier. 柯比意博物館，這裡算是比較冷門的景點，遊客相對較少。裡面有很多珍貴的手稿，可以慢慢欣賞。

Well maintained center to know about Corbusier and his relation with Chandigarh. Could have been curated better for someone new to the topic to understand the context

Really good place to understand how the city was formed. A city of this size and the communication that happened via letters.
