It's been so many years since we are going to this place. A wonderful family restaurant, great location, parking is sligh issue at times but mostly it's easy to get. Enjoy great South Indian and North Indian food here with friends and family.

Service was slow.
I ordered idli chat it took around 15 minutes to service and that too was not fresh. Idli was hard.

It is a place where I can go again. Good South Indian Food. Ambience had a essence of sandlewood fragrance.
Moderate pricing.
Samber was excellent.
Quick service.

Good place for South Indian food. Taste is ok, stomach seems to bloat after having dosa. Multiple people had same experience.

Everything was very tasty and amazing. Maine mangwaya tha Rawa masala dosa, Uttapam, masala dosa

The place doesn't actually show the real taste of Sagar ratna. We were expecting the yummy, rich taste of the brand. But South Indian food served was worse than any street style Dosa. Really disappointed

Must visit for South Indian dishes. Avoid trying North Indian cuisine here. The service was quite quick and properly managed. Recommended.

Horrible place to visit Very poor management. No queue management No display of token number.

Generally serves stale food. On the name of idlii chart they are just serving idli in sour dahi with lot of imli sauce. In past 3 to 4 times I try food over there and I am disappointed with their service as well as food.

Pathetic food.

Their preparations are good ambience is also nice.good vegetarian restaurant they are having North Indian, South Indian and Chinese cuisines.

They have maintained quality all these years! The food was delicious, not spicy. Quick service.

Too good for South Indian & even Rajmah chawal! The quantity is more than adequate for one!

Food is delicious especially south indian thali and dosa. There is a huge variety of dosa and you will get each type of south indian dish i.e. Utpam, idli or vada. They do have chinese and north indian as well but it isn't as tastier as their south indian food. One can visit with his/her family and can get almost every kind of taste under one roof.

The quality of food is unmatched, specially the South Indian food. The wait after ordering food is minimal. The vada, idli and masala dosa are a must try. In beverages, filter coffee can be something that coffee lovers would admire

One of the best places if you are craving for some South Indian food. Exellent service. Quite a traditional service ethics.

So we had been to Sagar Ratna located at sector 17. The occasion was my little brother's 1st salary credited to his account.
He found out something special served by Sagar Ratna. 4 Feet Family Dosa.
It was so long, so yum and crunchy. My 4 member Family enjoyed it to the fullest.
After it we ordered Cheese Naan with Dal Makhani. Cheese Naan was yum, something new I ever had in my life.
And in sweet we ordered Rava Kesari.
Overall a delicious dinner on a special occasion.
We had fun. Sagar Ratna's Every dish is delicious and prepared with professionalism and with heart.

Visited on 15.8.21, huge rush, waiting of 20 minutes but no temperature check plus not so cleaned due to rush. Food was ok. Service was fine. Cooling was so so. Need to gear up as per brand name.

Very bad experience. We placed the order and after half an hour, waiter came and said ordered recipe is not available. After revising the order we waited for half an hour again but of no use. They served after 45 mins. Behaviour of staff was very rude or unofficial.
Felt embarrassed in front of our guests due to such experience.

So expensive, the quality and quantity of food doesn't match it's price. As food is very expensive but the taste of food is not up to the mark.
Although staff and workers are very polite in behaviour and restaurant is clean, but food is not up to the standards.

It gives variety of dishes under one roof. Take whole family here and everyone can enjoy their own taste. From Chinese to South Indian you can get anything here.
Must try once.

My favourite place when it comes to relishing south indian dishes. The best part is their consistency in taste and quality.

Location-sector 17 market
This is one of my best place in tricity for south Indian food. I tried almost all dishes but my favorite one is puliogare rice and pesarattu dosa. You can find fusion dosas also and best rice combos. Comparable to other outlets I find its quality and quantity is better than other. Staff is courteous and serve the best south indian food. Must try.

Whoever wants to eat POTTY go to Sagar Ratna.
South Indians must SUE this brand in order to save their culinary culture.

Though they have a Very Good south indian food but i visited there and all the other options were not availble in Noon time or day Time i think they should either remove them from menu or else they should serve the same food

Taste was very good of everything but quantity was little bit less of idli chaat n was comparatively little bit costlier than laziz rasoi

Not that as it earlier was. The quality of its masala which I had recently was altogether different than earlier. Let's hope for improvement.

I went with my family. My one of the best dosa is in sagar ratna. The staff is also great. My favourite is sagar ratna. I don't love dosa plaza because. Dosa plaza, s staff is not good

Dahi bhalla no good as it was earlier. Bhalla was not as soft as it used to be. Curd was too watery. Quality of boondi used also not as good as it used to be earlier

Its a south Indian restaurant, the place has no special south Indian decor, the food authentic south Indian.

If you are in Sec 17 and crave for south Indian food, this is the perfect place then. Their chai is also a mist have for tea lovers.

Ambience was really nice. Food was authentic South Indian in taste. Although they give very less veg in the south indian thali and threaten to charge more even if you ask for little extra plain rice.

Good place to eat South Indian food. It has spacious ambience and a very supportive staff. The food quality and quantity is very good. We usually visit once a week to eat tasty South Indian food. Sometimes you have to wait to get the table due to its popularity. Go & try once with your loved once.

Vimal was very courteous and helpful and we require you to inculcate these qualities in the waiters too who are brusque and rude. Vimal will get customers in.

I would like to share my experience. People who are planing to visit Sagar Ratna sector 17 with there families, Friends, couple etc.
Before order something kindly check the food properly because they are serving half eatan food to their customer in a very clever manner.
And they served that food which was left or not cooked properly.
As we all know hospitality industry is based on trust and services. They fooling the customers and making money and when I complain about the food and showed to them in a very nice manner they said sorry.
I asked the manager does he also eat the same food or the waiters they said no. Then how can they served the food to the customer who are visiting over there?
I would suggest people not to visit Sagar Ratna
It's better to visit coffee house at sector 17.

Had a great experience. First had Chinese, it good but in case Manchurian there was excess of finely chopped onion which made it last tasty.

Best Dosa in the world and thir sambar vada is awesome thing to have in winter, it adds so much flavors into the mouth. It's blast of warmth when u visit this place, so nice aura and really polite staff

Food is not upto the mark. I was disappointed. We ordered idli chaat (it felt like idli was dipped in oil, it was chewy and rubbry in texture) and dahi bhalla which was also not good. Sagar Ratna is such a big brand, I fail to understand why they are not paying attention to their food quality.

Well the name has changed, but the quality remains uncompromised. Authentic south India, easy on the pocket, neat and clean. Strongly recommend their 4' Family Dosa

This place is awesome for family brunches. We were 13 and ordered almost everything from their menu and enjoyed every bit of it. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the food was really tasty. Highly recommended for their South Indian cuisine

The food was good however the mineral water was sold above MRP excluding taxes. This is wrong practise.

Ordered filter coffee and vada. Vada was great and filter coffee was good. Will recommend this.

But Sundaram's south indian restaurant is better than this for the same price.

This place has the worst service compared to all other eating outlets. The place have huge range of South India food which is quite good but the taste of North Indian or Chinese food is way too average. The service is so slow that just for making a plate of veg noodles the took 30-40 mins and it's taste was so not satisfying. This is not the first time, I have visited this place a couple of times and faced the same issues Everytime.

Good ambience. If your craving for South Indian food in Chandigarh the place to visit, the food is little on the costlier side, worth it if u miss South Indian. The service was slow when I visited

It is always nice to be here as it makes you feel really homely. Service is on point and the variety in the menu, it offers something for all. The mini meals they offer is so much to ask for and each of the dish is amazing.
Idli chaat is my mom's all time favorite. Keep up!

In sector 17. Authentic south indian menu. Taste was also good. Not so spacious restaurant. But good to go with family. Little pricey.

I am from mumbai and have had some realy good south indian food there. This place is not too bad. My veg thali was good. But in the end, it is an Udupi place. Not really fine dining. Someone needs to open a good tamil food joint here!
