There is a lot of happiness in the lake. Many people come here for a walk. And here boating is also done, they make instagram reels or photos are shot also. Very long people come here. Or there are a lot of shops, sketchers, photographers or food items are also available.

A good place for piece n calmness but pathetic food services and too costly all around. A simple Softy cone is in Rs 80/- all food items are on heavy rates.

Great option for morning walk

A beautiful lake at the side of beautiful city of Chandigarh. Lake looked big enough & offered boat rides. Ikonic open hand was carved in steel just at the bank of the lake. A great place to visit in Chandigarh.

We visited this place at night, so can't comment much but it was a good experience and a chill atmosphere.

Do not recommend, very few shops, Monopoly on pricing. Boating is Rs. 1000 per hour. (More than 15 min of time waste in booking, boat assignment etc.)

Early morning and late evening time is the best to visit this place. We can enjoy the view.exercise.yoga.n meditate in the morning and in evening we can enjoy the view and chit chat with frns. Best time to enjoy workout over here is early morning.

A place worth to visit. Peace can be experienced late at night. At night soothing for mind along with fresh air.

Good place to have fun with family or friends. Scenery is beautiful. You can enjoy there sitting for hours if you love solitude. Keep these things aside now people who give boats here have high rates according to this place. If these were less expensive it would be perfect.

Lake is very clean and gives an elegant view. But, please wear the mask inside the lake also, because police station is inside the lake not on the main gate.

This is one of the main attractions of chandigarh. Located close to rock garden, one can easily spend few hours. The reservoir has a 7.5 km of walk/run way on one side which seems famous amongst local joggers. Walk way is very clean and well maintained. There are distance marking to help joggers. It has washroom as well as drinking water facilities. Instrumental music is being placed which adds nice touch to the surrounding and ligthens the mood.

There is giant peepal tree on the track near the entrance which is 150+ years old. This is one of the oldest trees in chandigarh, I heard that this tree has received heritage status.

There is a small food mall near the entrance and also has children's play area. Both gets crowded in the evening.

There are ferries and pedal boats which can be rented on per hour basis.

Amazing place for kid as there they have playground for them. And food hub is great. Must try lacha katori chat. And dahi Puska out there

So wonderful.place to visit with family. All stress go out easily here. So perfect place to enjoy your time. Eating points also there. Boating is available.lot of natural sites to click pics.
A lake when you need it.
I am happy with experience at the lake. Had a had a good experience of boating with family in the
lake.
We did boating for atleast one hour. It was a very good experience of
boating in the lake.
There must have been provisions for motorboats.
Lake surroundings are very clean and neat.
We went early to catch the sunrise, Sunset and sunrise always best spot here. Must visit there how it was beautifully casting shadow over the lake and slowly taking over.
This lake is so calm and beautiful. People were seen jogging around the lake in the foot track.
Felt like staying there for a while.

If you want to enjoy ay sakuna lake then go in the eveing time. That time fully wonderful nature view and also good for boating also.

Very good place to visit with friends and family. Enjoy your day with pleasant view of lake with greenery areas. Also good for boating in lake. Boating charge is 500 for two people for half an hour and 500 extra for security which is returned only if you get back in half an hour or will be charged after passing that deadline. Also more than one hour will charge more money.

This one is definitely a site to visit. Sukhna lake is a reservoir at the foothills of the Himalayas.  One can literally see Himalayan mountain ranges from here. It have in-built garden, jogging tracks, boating options, lots of restaurants, parking and some kid play area as well. Sukhna is a sanctuary for many exotic migratory birds like the Siberian duck, storks and cranes, during the winter months. One can visit the lake in evenings to relax and peace of mind. Avoid visiting during public holidays.

Sukhna Lake boating area is one of the famous spot for boating. It's a big lake, so boating is always enjoyable. People from different parts of the world when visit this place, enjoy boating the most. Peddle boats, 2 seater, 4 seater available at affordable prices. For 2 seater price is INR 200 for half hour and they keep 200 security which is refundable after boating and for 4 seater price is INR 400 and same is security which is refundable after boating. Shikara is also available here @ INR 400 for 2 persons for half hour. Also CITCO restaurant is very close, so if you feel hungry after boating, go there and enjoy. A great place for all ages to enjoy

This place is very beautiful. Sea style corner best for family vacation and for kids too there have games also restaurants toys shops also available but the most important thing boating that's amazing there you will enjoy.

Chandigarh aye aur Sukhna lake na dekhi toh kya dekhi. Sukhna lake is around 6kms from my home, still I manage every morning to go there n have a walk around the track of the sukhna lake. If u r looking for some internal peace, just still here around the shore for some time. Nothing can be a better therapy then this. Love for Chandigarh. Love for Sukhna.

Useless, very expensive and tasteless foods inside better have outside the garden. Game are so expensive like they are the only one in CH. Good for couple to spend some clean time. Gov of CH please add some lights inside the garden. LED are cheaper and saves money if your on solar
