Shri Swaminarayan Temple is one of the most pious and most famous Hindu temples in India and is a part of the Swaminarayan Sampraday. Swaminarayan, the founder of the Swaminarayan Sampraday, established temples, known as mandirs, as part of his philosophy of theism and deity worship. Swaminarayan temples are not restricted to India only but have a lot of fame overseas too. There are well renowned Swaminarayan temples in the USA, Australia, Seychelles, Canada, Thailand, Fiji, Mauritius, New Zealand, Oman, UAE, and Zambia.

Peaceful environment. Beautiful temple. Although I left Gujarat a time ago but visited this temple 2 times. One of the most beautiful temples I have ever seen.

Inside the temple you can see Ganpati bappa idol, Ram - Sita, Shiv - Parvati, and many more God idols are made inside the temple. There is parking available for two wheeler and 4 wheeler. The temple opens at 7am.

This place is very close to daman ganga river point. Free parking is available for tourists. It would be a 5mins walk from the parking lot to the main mandir. Decent place. You may sit and enjoy the peaceful environment for sometime

A very large temple complex located in Silvassa, on the banks of the Daman Ganga. As in all other Swaminarayan temples across India, most of the construction is in marble. Several Hindu deities have been represented here in the form of beautifully sculpted idols.
The complex is located in a beautifully landscaped area, and is maintained in a similarly clean manner. There are well-manicured lawns and flowering shrubs and trees, that lend the place a serene ambience, one in which one can meditate without any disturbance, and one in which one feel relaxed physically and mentally

A very richly designed, constructed and maintained Temple. The temple has been constructed in floors where the lowest floor is the place with a beautiful idol of Lord Krishna in golden glittering with a semicircle of wall carved statues, also coated in gold.

The second floor has the beautiful statues of the sacred saints of ancient time namely, 1) Brahma-swaroop Pramukh Swami Maharaj, 2) Brahma-swaroop Shastriji Maharaj, 3) Brahma-swaroop Bhagat ji Maharaj, 4) Brahma-swaroop Yogi ji Maharaj and 5) Shri Ghanashyam Maharaj along with 1) the Lord Rama with Goddess Sita and Lord Hanuman on one side of the chamber, 2) Lord Shiva with Goddess Parvati and Lord Ganesha on the other side, 3) Parabrahm Purushottam Bhagwan Shri Swami Narayan, 4) Akshar-Brahma Shri Gunateetanand Swami, 5) Shri HariKrishna Maharaj and 6) Lord Shri Krishna with Goddess Radha ji, all in the center and more gods chambers at a distance from the devotees.

Garden with animal statues and a huge satsang hall has been constructed adjacent to the main temple on one side and Akshar dham shopping store available on the other side. The store mainly provides some auspicious worship material, some clothing, some ayurvedic medicinal options, certain books only in Gujrati and more attractive options for visitors.

Well designed parking and washrooms have been prepared. The garden is also spread over a big plot area. A very pious and sanctifying place of worship.

Well managed Shri Swaminarayan temple. You need to wear full cloths mean no Bermuda or 3/4 trousers allowed. Still they provide you cloths at returnable deposit.

Beautiful temple with a large campus. One of the must visit places in Silvassa. Like most Swaminarayan temples across the country, this one too has beautiful carvings inside and outside the temple. The campus is huge and has two beautiful gardens. There is also a residential block for the priests to stay. There is a play area for kids near the entrance. The Pond and fountain could have been maintained better. The place is very close to the Daman Ganga River front, just across a bridge. We went around sunset, so it seemed like a perfect weather to take a walk in its large and clean campus.
