The restaurant was amazing, anybody who want to enjoy with friends that's the right place, you can have fun with live music and the food or drinks the way they serve was fabulous.
Soothing ambience with live music, the one suggestion size of beer mugs should be 550 ml instead of 330. Rest loved the food and staff is really welcoming!
This is a standard Bar and not a lounge like metro cities and its meant only for Males, would suggest all visitors who are not from do not take females along with them to this place. Good place to hangout for a quick ones. Lovely

A very nice place with a awesome decor that you can attend with family and friends both. Best part is place goes crazy on Saturday night! They serve a refreshing starter which is simply awesome. The panner tikka is served in a unique style which is very tasty also. The pizza is very tasty and well cooked!
As the name suggests the ambience relates to a soldier's life, It's one of the most fun loving and happening place.
I ordered 4 Stroke Artillery Pizza and RDX Chilli Paneerottage which totally made my evening, the caramelized pineapple on the pizza gave it a unique taste and paneer fried with chestnuts and scallions tasted amazing.
After which I ordered Teen Mirch ka Kadhai Paneer which was a perfect blend of paneer and chilli which was a treat to my tastebuds.

Amazing décor and interiors to make you feel like you are at the army barracks at the frontier. Subtle things like their rack on the corner with all the artefacts really touched the heart.
They offer a wide range of cuisines and don't allow smoking on their premises. Hukkas are however allowed and served on personal request. Nice place to hang out after the days toil and remember how our jawaans are living on the borders so that we can sleep safe in our homes.
Drinks I ordered -
Army Camp - has a particular taste. Must try but at your own risk. Military camp - cool drink to have after work. It complements well with the food I ordered
Food I ordered - Paneer Tikka Barrels Palak Patta Chaat - must try. Rainbow Pizza
As far as decoration is concerned, it’s a fabulous place to dine in. . The food served was very tasty. . The management was humble. . I’ve tried their garlic breads and onion rings as starters with whiskey and I liked it. . The non veg mezze platter was too filling so I couldn’t have more. . A great experience.
We were 3 friends including my wife and it was a sudden plan to celebrate Christmas so we decided to go 38 Barracks. Ambience is so good and despite the heavy rush service and quality of food was awesome.
Live music was additional factor which worked as catalyst in our celebration.
We ordered KF draught beer, Amritsari Fish, Potato Widgets, Corn Salad, Chicken Salad, 38 Barracks Dal and mix veg.
Though Zomato gold was not accepted on Christmas but overall we loved it.
You want to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy all at once? This is the place! I've been to so many cafes and restaurants, but I'm sure the history and the story behind this one cannot be matched, this is one of the oldest places in CP (ask the manager for knowing about the story and the history of the place).
Live Music just lifts up your mood to another level, irrespective of how low on energy you are! We went on a Monday, and usually this Guy Shivam performs on Mondays. Trust me, it's worth going to this place specifically on a Monday, just for the singer, he just lights up the place!
The decors are subtle and very aesthetic, gives your sort of historical vibes, with those vintage guns and all around. All the elements thogether complements the theme of the cafe- 38 Barracks!
The food! To drink we ordered Smoky Maple and a glass of Red Wine Sangria. Red Wine obviously cannot go wrong, but the Smoky Maple was just so GOOD. Like the on-point-drink. Nothing too much in there, all in perfect ratios. (We repeated it btw.) And the way these guys serve it, is just so fancy! A must try for someone who likes Scotch (and subtle things in life generally!).
We ordered Cheese Stuffed Button Musrooms and Chef's Special Pizza. Every food item is so aesthetic that everytime it comes, you need a minute to appreciate it before you can relish it! Both the things were insanely delicious! I'll specifically recommend the chef's special pizza! We also ordered a Sizzler, which was decent! In deserts, we ordered Chocolate Walnut Brownies which are served with Vanilla Ice Cream. It was a really good Brownie, and better than some of the many that I've had recently!
For me, live music was the best part of the evening! The great food and the warmth of the management complemented it perfectly.

Theme is mixed up of Indo -British and French style barrack. A curvy stairs ended to first floor where you will find informal lounge with well stocked bar. Unfortunately we landed on dry day and as per rule they weren’t showcasing their liquors. Dining area is relax and comfortable. Living singing performance will also make you cheery.
38 barracks is already gained the popularity for its food and drinks across the NCR. We hadn’t any option except few mock tails and shakes. I had started with oreo shakes, seriously this shake were amazing. I wasn’t expecting this kind of shakes, cause most of popular restaurant are serving a diluted shakes in the vicinity whereas they were serving a thick shake. Fabulous. I didn’t wait for ordering another shake this time I ordered Barrack frappe. This was followed by the appetizers:
We were welcomed by their welcome starter i.e. Amuce Busche, a piece of watermelon glazed by feta cheese was extraordinary. Followed on we had tried Spanakopita – a filo patties which is stuffed with spinach and feta cheese, Paneer Tikka Barrel – it was presenting in a cylindrical barrel like pieces of Paneer Tikka stuffed with a crumble of nuts and khoya; Soldier’s Mirchi Wada – a fiery looking yet mild preparation of gram flour covered pepper stuffed with a mashed potato mix; Chankunder (Beetroot) ki Galouti – it was crunchy patty with stuffed beetroot had sweet explosion of that earthy beety flavor in my mouth.
The prerequisite for any Indian lunch – Kadai Paneer and Dal Makhni – are highly recommended for veggie; Sabz Palak Milloni had done brilliantly recommended with their breads.
Manish our server was extremely pleasant guy. He was extremely fast during our lunch at 38 barracks. That guy had good knowledge as well.
I came here on a Friday night when I heard that a live gig was going on also, I had heard great things about the place. The restaurant is massive and on weekends you would find a live gig going on in there for sure. Upon chefs recommendation we settled for Gorkha chicken with naan. And for drinks we had 2 erdinger and 2 JD with ginger ale. I have to give them the credit for the chicken. It was delectable, spicy and a delight to our taste buds. The staff is extremely polite and does great hospitality. The only thing that didnot work for me was the amount of time it took for the order to come. Nonetheless I had a pleasant experience and thanks to 2+2 on zomato gold it was multiplied. The bill that we received was of approx 2200 for 2. Looking forward to many more visits.
Good live music but a loud cramped place, where too many people are being tried to fit one place, in case you want a enjoyable time, can try on weekdays only. Food stands Good but a little high for the quantity of platters they offer, otherwise good.
Had golgappe shots which were complimentary.those were the only thing not liked by us. They have awesome music organised in evenings. Great food. Great ambience. Visit this place often!
Located on the outer circle of Connaught place, 38 Barracks is a place where you would ideally like to go with your world war movie fan friends. Just kidding!
It's a place for everyone and the ambience is definitely going create a wow effect on the visitor here. The place is themed based on european 1940s and decorated with war items starting from army coats near entry to assault rifles on the wall. The staff is dressed in commando uniforms.
The staff is very courteous and live music is there in all days of the week.
You can have one starter item earmarked for each day of the week as all of them are delicious.
Serrano chicken, a Thai style preparation of chicken was the best of the lot. The innovations on the food come off really well especially the paneer tikka barrels because of the dry fruits filling and the super soft texture.
The gosht shami kebabs with "Army camp" cocktail is a good combination for the winters according to me. The gosht keeps you warm and the bourbon drink (army camp) will keep your spirits high.
Among other must try items would be beetroot ki galauti, rainbow pizza, choco brownie with ice cream and Boston beach cocktail.
In all, the attention to detail is fascinating about the place, be it the beret caps for servers or the consistency in the choco brownie. Had a great time here.looking forward to visit again.
Good starters, not great with coffee and other stuff though. Staff is very polite and active. Defence personnel get 25 % discount on food. Have a quiet vibe during the day, I didn't get the chance to visit in the evening during live music. They also allow you to celebrate your own events using their space.
Amazing place to enjoy! Wonderful Ambience! Interiors match the theme and the name of the place. Only improvement required is in service, else everything is upto the mark. Food is good as well. One can get excellent deals if known how to negotiate. Best thing is it's prominent location, i.e. CP - Heart of Delhi!
It a nice place to hang out with friends. Kids are also allowed on saturday so couples with you g kids can also enjoy. Live music was great and food decent. Service very slow though. But overall good experience

The place is cosy and small yet it doesn't disappoint you, be it the army themed ambience. The chef is friendly and many times comes personally to check out how we are enjoying food. They have live music too which is quite nice. Good place for friends and families to gather for dinner. I have been to 38 barracks three times so far over all it was a great experience for me. A must visit place
Ambience: good Food: okayish Live music is the best part that too during day time (2-5pm). If looking for cheap thrills better look for other pubs in cp, there are plenty which will not be heavy on your pockets.
Nice place with a good ambience. Fast and efficient service. Helpful staff. A bit expensive so look out for that. Food including the pizza was good. The pepper chicken not great.
