A delightful little cozy store in the heart of Daryaganj, where you're welcomed with the warm fragrance of exotic teas. The collection is wide, housed in shelves of cute tin packs. Take your time sampling the smell and flavors of these teas, and choose with care. The manager is rather helpful, and he wouldn't hesitate to suggest you one of his more loved flavors, if you ask him. But what's best is that you can taste the teas before you buy a new variety. Definitely a must-visit if you love exotic teas.
What on earth should I buy in India? After much deliberation, this was the only t-shirt I bought as a souvenir. The store was very luxurious and the quality of the tee was good, so I was able to purchase it with confidence. We had the opportunity to taste a lot of teas! I think it was roughly between 400 and 1200 per bottle, but I think it was good to purchase it at a price that wasn't too burdensome (based on the cheap price).
I am his one of the oldest customers, I can still remember those days when they open in Darya Gunj. I am missing that aroma, I am going to visit soon aap ki pasand when I go back India. The best.
I visited this store to purchase quality loose leaf tea. I was disappointed to see their collection.there were many flavored and blended teas but only a few loose leaf variety. Staff was nice.but didn't know their tea. They made a cup of tea for me to taste.but that can not be called tea tasting. Maybe the store wasn't for me.
The best place for connoisseurs of good tea. I have been visiting this place since 1987 and get my monthly supplies of their Razia Begum tea and English Breakfast tea leaves - besides, of course, gifting tea to friends. Sanjay Kapur, the tea taster who established the place is a very sweet Old Delhi (old school) person who exudes a warmth you'll never get in another tea shop.and, least one forgets, they'll serve a small mug of tea (I am always left complaining because I can't have enough of it and can't make anything like it back home!). Highly recommend this place to everyone who likes his morning tea.
