I got introduced to AEC through a friend and when I landed up there, I was amazed to see this cohesive group of people working tirelessly to help students with the cumbersome process of studying outside India.

I got in touch with one of the councillors at AEC (ask for Neha) who sat down with me and genuinely understood my profile whilst providing me with recommendations on what would be an ideal program to chose for my line of study. Eventually, after selection of the course that I wanted to pursue, the councillor helped me with the process of applying for admission in universities that I was eligible for.

After receiving offer of admission from various universities, it was time to file for a student visa. Neha assisted me with every aspect of the visa application, to ensure I have crystal clear understanding of the requirements. The visa part, however, was the hardest bit that I had to go through. I had to apply 4 times, facing rejections on the first three, due to certain concerns raised by the visa officer. I was disheartened, depressed and on the verge of revoking my application. I had lost all hope of fulfilling my dreams of studying abroad, which is when Neha convinced me to apply once more.

To my amazement, I received my visa on this last try! I couldn’t be happier and honestly, I owe all this to AEC and it’s councillors. They were not only supportive, but incredibly patient and resilient with my case, went above and beyond the traditional work ethic and had my back all the while in this entire process. I was 32 years old when I applied for my further studies and my graduation scores were pretty low in addition I have around 8 years of education gap though I do have work experience of 8 years but still I was not sure weather I would be able get shortlisted in any college in Canada because of several parameters like age, education gap, low scores in graduation. I went to several consultants they don't have much options for me then one day my friend told me about AEC (Abroad Education Consultants) and she shared the number of her consultant (Shikha Mehrotra). When I talked to her and told her about my profile she had plenty of options available for me. Then I applied in several colleges
under her guidance and got selected in St. Clair's college in data analytics program and Conestoga college in Business analytics program. Between these two colleges I opted for Conestoga College as the course is comparatively easier. After that she helped me in each step for further Visa application and she provided every update during the pandemic weather its regarding bio-metric update or its related to AIP till the visa. My case was handled by Shikha and she was very professional in her approach. A little background - I am a working professional with 11 yrs of experience and already having PGDM.
