Airtel is committed to serving its customers. Beautiful and pleasant environment. The sincerity and service of the staff is amazing. Customer satisfaction is paramount.
Pathetic service! Un cooperative staff…. Don’t have etiquette to talk to customers. In this hot summer they don’t have a single fan in outlet and they save electricity by switching off Air Conditioner!
Today, we visited Airtel store at Daryaganj with the intention of getting a SIM card. However, we were unable to obtain one as we did not possess a visa (Nepalese do not need one). Despite this setback, Mr. Aroon, the officer on duty, went above and beyond to assist us. He aided us in setting up a SIM card from another telecom provider, which we had borrowed from a friend. He helped us scan for networks, set up the SIM card, and even assisted us with online recharge. We wish to express our gratitude towards him for his exceptional kindness and willingness to assist two girls in need. Airtel is fortunate to have an employee like him, and we sincerely thank him for his help. He is truly a gem.
Worst thing is long queue because of unprofessional staff and always staff shortage. There is around 10 windows for customers but hardly 3-4 staff is available to attend. Due to this waiting time is around 30-45 mins.
Good and knowledgeable staff. They really want to help you and explain the every possible way out for the issue you are facing. Easy to locate the store as it id right on the main road of Darya Ganj.
Terrible and outrageous service! I am a tourist an I have been scammed by one of your workers yesterday at the New Delhi airport arrivals. Firstly when I approached the stand the employee working told me (rudely) that there is only 1 plan available- which costs 650 rupees (this seemed very weird but do to the fact that I had to get my SIM card urgently I agreed) - the plan according to him is 1.5 gb internet per day, unlimited calls and 50 text messages in India. Needless to say that I did not ask for this or want this much but I was left only the choice of not getting any sim. Secondly and worse! I gave him a 500 and 200 rupees bill which he left on the counter for a few minutes while organizing the details of my SIM card. After a few minutes he told me that I had not given him enough money- showing me a 200 rupees bill and a 100 rupee bill instead of a 500. I fell for this obviously and immediately took “back” the 100 bill and gave another 500! I did not feel I should be aware of an employee from such a big and respectful company! I found out about this one day later when I met a friend that wen to get her SIM card at the exact same stand 30 minutes after me, and told me he attempted to do the exact same scam on her but luckily she noticed it in time and put him in his place. I demand to get my money back for this outrageous behavior and that you reach out to contact me!
Bharti Airtel Limited also known as Airtel is an Indian global telecommunications services company based in Delhi, India. It operates in 20 countries across South Asia and Africa. Airtel provides GSM, 3G, 4G LTE mobile services, fixed line broadband and voice services depending upon the country of operation. Airtel had also rolled out its VoLTE technology across all Indian telecom circles except Jammu and Kashmir and Andaman and is likely to launch in these circles soon. [8] It is the second largest mobile network operator in India and the third largest mobile network operator in the world with over 438.04 million subscribers. [9][10] Airtel was named India's second most valuable brand in the first ever Brandz ranking by Millward Brown and WPP plc. Airtel is credited with pioneering the business strategy of outsourcing all of its business operations except marketing, sales and finance and building the 'minutes factory' model of low cost and high volumes. The strategy has since been adopted by several operators. [12] Airtel's equipment is provided and maintained by Ericsson, Huawei, and Nokia Networks[13] whereas IT support is provided by IBM. [14] The transmission towers are maintained by subsidiaries and joint venture companies of Bharti including Bharti Infratel and Indus Towers in India. [15] Ericsson agreed for the first time to be paid by the minute for installation and maintenance of their equipment rather than being paid up front, which allowed Airtel to provide low call rates of ₹1 (1.4¢ US) /minute. In 1984, Sunil Mittal started assembling push-button phones in India, [17] which he earlier used to import from a Taiwan company, Kingtel, replacing the old fashioned, bulky rotary phones that were in use in the country then. Bharti Telecom Limited (BTL) was incorporated and entered into a technical tie up with Siemens AG of Germany for manufacture of electronic push button phones. By the early 1990s, Bharti was making fax machines, cordless phones and other telecom gear. [18] He named his first push-button phones as 'Mitbrau'.
In 1992, he successfully bid for one of the four mobile phone network licences auctioned in India. [18] One of the conditions for the Delhi cellular license was that the bidder have some experience as a telecom operator. So, Mittal clinched a deal with the French telecom group Vivendi. He was one of the first Indian entrepreneurs to identify the mobile telecom business as a major growth area. His plans were finally approved by the Government in 1994[17] and he launched services in Delhi in 1995, when Bharti Cellular Limited (BCL) was formed to offer cellular services under the brand name AirTel. Within a few years Bharti became the first telecom company to cross the 2 million mobile subscriber mark. Bharti also brought down the STD/ISD cellular rates in India under brand name 'Indiaone'.
Only to port a sim they looped me into three visits and the reasons were you can be port it after 90 days, next you can port it after 120 days, server is not working, i just hate there service it may be coincidence with me but make a bad image of there services
I have applied for porting my AIRTEL number from KARNATAKA region to DELHI (NCR), its been more than 12 days but no developments as of now. When i contacted the AIRTEL store from where i have applied for port, they said that they are helpless they cant do anything and i only have to contact customer care and resolve the issue. I tried calling customer care and also i dropped the mail to the nodal heads (karnatak and NCR region), no response till now. Some of the waste fellows are sitting at AIRTEL, making the lives of the customers miserable.
