I had a horrible experience. Seems like the staff at this branch are very junior and not interested in their work.

My sim had stopped working suddenly that morning while I had 1+ month balance on it. I was first served by Kanjal who very quickly turned me away, repeatedly saying there was nothing she could do for me since the name Airtel had registered me on was different than my actual name (I think they were trying to register customers quickly at the airport where I got my sim so they probably entered one name for multiple sims). There was zero empathy and I felt treated like a criminal even though I had proof that I was the real owner of the line and it was Airtel who made this error. There was a lot of sighing and ma'am this, ma'am that from her. So I asked to speak to a manager for which they gave the excuse that he was out.

Her coworker Monika finally stepped in as our argument got heated but was just as unprofessional, barely listening to me and repeating that they can't help me. As the argument continued to escalated, someone finally called a manager from the Nehru Place branch. Vaishali was a lot more helpful over the phone. She listened to my story, apologized for the mishap, didn't treat me like a criminal, asked Kanjal to verify it was a sim problem and not a phone problem, and then tried a solution to preserve my balance. Even though the efforts failed, I appreciated that she was empathetic, explained things in detail and took on the problem solving effort unlike the staff at this branch who basically threw the problem back at me. She is the reason why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1.

The staff at this branch desperately needs customer service training and motivation to be there. Note to customers, seems Airtel has to be micromanaged for every service they provide you - they might just sign you up with the wrong name so you can't be served in future!

Update: Based on Airtel's response below and invitation to redeem themselves, I reached out on Dec 2. Got a response back that day saying they don't understand my problem. Dec 3: I tried another round of explaining via email. Dec 9: No response until now, so I decided to update this review to let others know the service is bad across teams. The kind response you see here on review was just empty words. Another confirmation of the horrible experience with Airtel as a company!

THEY NEVER CALL BACK TO TELL YOU THE STATTUS OF YOUR COMPLAINT. THEY ONLY GIVE FAKE ASSURANCE. VISITED THRICE FOR SAME ISSUE.

A lot of staff inside that got the job done, a little better communication would have been better. Not enough seeting space for clients. The place is huge and only two chairs.

The staff is very rude and unhelpful. It is better to call customer care than to visit this store in East of Kailash.

The young lady that assisted us to activate our SiM cards Internet prepaid that we booked same day from another Airtel shop in the airport, she was amazing!

Worst place ever, very rude and absolutely unhelpful. I came three times for just a sim card and never help me or explain what do I need, every time I need “another“ paper. Also they close before 6: 45 pm so watch what time you go.

I needed a help with my SIM card that stopped to work and had a balance on it.
They say they can’t do nothing with it and I need to purchase a new one.
I ask them to give me discount or voucher cause I have a whole month with the previous SIM card but nothing.
So I agreed to buy a new SIM card.
Then he ask me to wait and he moved to take care another costumers that want to buy a new sim.
I never saw service that give half help and then let you wait.
I was the first one in the store and now i don’t know why I need to wait.
When you give a customer help you finish with them until it finish and not pass to another in the middle.

Only one staff member dealing with whole load of angry customers, where we expect minimum 2-3 staff members required.
Salute to the lady anyways 5 * to the lady and 0* to the Airtel.

If I have option available negative rating so I will be.

Very worst and unprofessional staff more than government.they not sitting for help.

So many mis-happening with customer only that Airtel Store its very surprising thing.

Really Very bad experience.

Worst services error, very unprofessional staff poor services, neither they understand your problem nor they are keen to resolve it.
