Great temple. Must visit place. For peace, vibes, positivity and tranquility.
The architecture is great and the ambiance is awesome. Everybody should visit it. It makes the harmony of all faiths of India. Canteen food is delicious. Movies and exhibitions are informative and help the youth to focus and learn from society.

I recently visited here. The temple is very huge and beautiful. You can see various carvings on the pillars in the wall of the temple.
The temple has a big parking space available so no need to worry about the vehicles.
Our phone is kept in locker. As photography is not allowed here.
At night, the light show is so awesome you can't forget.

Outside premise of temple is so calm and peaceful that your heart doesn't want to go from there.

At last before exiting there is also a cafetaria where you can enjoy your meals. Food prices are reasonable not exprnsive.

My overall experience to visit this temple is mind blowing. I would highly recommend to everyone to just visit this temple at once. You will love the architecture, the history, the spirituality, the light show, the food everything here.

You are not allowed to carry mobile phones, cameras, laptos. And dress code is followed. 80% of body needs to be covered. Place is awesome with calmness and peace. Don't miss water and lazer show here. I'm not aware of timing but, we do have morning and an evening shows.

You can't take electronics with you, which is a shame when you can't take pictures of this nice architecture. It offers for INR 140 a photo shoot by a photographer, but you will not get the output electronically, only printed on A4.

For INR 250 you get a tour of the "Hindu Disney Land" with animatronics depicting the life of Swamynaraya. This part was interesting, but by the end it was boring. Refreshment is a cruise ship exhibiting the history of India.

In the heat of 35°C, the food and drink stalls were closed, except for a few cases.

The water show was amazing and very affordable. Whilst the website says the water show is at 7: 45 be careful as I initially arrived at 7 and the temple is closed and they won’t let anyone enter past 6: 30. So if you are planning on seeing the show make sure to arrive before 6: 30. The food cord and gift shop were affordable.
The temple is very beautiful and the whole area is kept extremely clean.
Just a heads up no phones or bags are allowed.

This place is like a dream, shows organised by them is a must watch. However, tickets are bit expensive.

Mandate place to visit in Delhi the whole architecture is excellent and the exhibition and light show worth it a lot… Ticket cost 360/person. Walkable distance from Akshadham metro station if needed will have auto and auto rickshaw for 1min travel. You have a good cafeteria inside don’t miss to have mango lassi.

The experience was truly awe-inspiring. As I entered the temple complex, I was immediately struck by the stunning architecture and intricate carvings that adorned the temple's exterior. The grandeur of the Swaminarayan Akshardham Mandir left me in awe, and I couldn't help but marvel at its beauty.

Inside, I was greeted by a sense of serenity and tranquility. The intricate marble work, intricate sculptures, and beautifully landscaped gardens created a peaceful atmosphere. The cultural boat ride, in particular, was a fascinating journey through India's history.

I was also moved by the spiritual aspect of the temple. Witnessing devotees offering their prayers and participating in the rituals was a humbling experience. The Akshardham Temple not only showcases India's architectural and artistic excellence but also serves as a spiritual haven for those seeking solace and enlightenment.

Overall, my visit to Akshardham Temple was a memorable and spiritually enriching experience that left me with a deep appreciation for India's culture and heritage.

Akshardham temple is near the akshardham metro station. This temple is basically balyogi neelkanth temple. Inside the temple no phone, no purse, no bag are allowed. Shoes are submitted in the temple campus by thier holder. Food court are available in the campus. Water show are held in the evening. Perfect artefacts are made on the temple wall and roof. Marble works are made by worker.

One of the best places to visit in New Delhi. It sparks a different vibe altogether. Easy access to metro makes this place easily reachable. Further, the grandeur of the place makes it so promising.

A COMPLETE DIVINE EXPERIENCE. An Architect need 200 days minimum toh observe the carvings. Carvings helped many Interior Designers & Fashion Designers, Textile Designers, Art Directors in their career. Lovely People, especially the priests in FULL ORANGE CLOTHES & volunteers in FULL WHITE CLOTHES & even Security Forces in full BLUE UNIFORM.a heartily repect for each & everybody, especially the Light & Sound show staff

Beautiful structure with great facility.
You can't take your phone inside, variety of foods are available in the food area you can enjoy the light and water show at 7 in the evening.

As of now it is world's largest Hindu Temple, completed in 2005, built on 100 acres. Though this place is very different from other temples, not much of a ritualistic place, no incense and prasad and all. Only a couple of idols of deities. Rest are life demonstrating paintings & stone idols of SWAMI NARAYAN (ghansham).

It is kind of Fort or museum, constructed with white marble and Rajasthan's stone.

Yes it is very beautiful place, you will find all vistor services here run very smoothly and safely.

1. Parking of car is Rs30. No entry to temple after 6.30 pm.

2. Cloak room services are free and verified with slip, camera and token system. Can deposit mobile phone safely here as they are not allowed inside.

3. Entry to temple if free. But there are number of rules for entry.
NO mobile, camera, electronics, scissors, hardware, pendrive, food allowed.
Only transparent water bottle, belts, wallet, jewelry are allowed.

4. People are throughly scanned. Also wear respectable clothing, NO shorts or skirts allowed for men, women, boys & girls. Wear something atleast below knee clothing otherwise you will have to wear yellow dhoti/lungi provided by them.

5. Separate Food court in building and in open area as well. Genuine pricing of food. But taste is not very good. So don't expect very tasty food.

6. Plenty of washrooms, clean and tidy. With clean drinking water taps.

7. There are 4 shows here.
Show 1 was not running during my visit, so no comments.

Show 2 is movie in theater about the guy Swami NARAYAN (Ghamshaym) on whom temple is built. Runs for about 50 min.

Show 3 is Boat Ride in Hall of Ancient India. Very informative, interesting, must see. It shows what ancient 'Bhartvarsh' was, everything was here, what western world scientists found 2 centuries ago was already discovered here thousands of years ago. Runs for about 20 min.

Show 4 is in evening at 7 and 8. It is fountain show, with lighting on big walls. Story told is great and enjoyable for kids. But for adults only water dance is beautiful. Runs for about 40 min.

There are total three exhibitions at the Akshardham Temple namely Sahajanand Darshan, Neelkanth Darshan and Sanskruti Darshan. All of them are executed in three different large halls and are a perfect accumulation of culture, art, traditions and latest technologies. Beautiful and amazing.a great place to visit with friends or family. Huge and beautiful at the same time. Must visit.you must see the water show. It starts at around 7 pm. For that you have to buy tickets. They have ticket counter inside. Phones or cameras are not allowed inside the temple. Kids will enjoy the water show

Very nice architecture and very well managed. Well behaved staffs and very well managed. The only bad thing in view of today's time is that they don't allow you to take mobile inside temple premises, that may be due to security reasons. But locker facility is available at free of cost. Also you can get your photographs with temple background. Though cost is a little bit High but it is worth.

2.  The “Sanskruti Vihar” is a boat ride which will take the visitors to see the models on ancient history. It provides a 15 minutes long-boat ride. You will find a lot of history and Indian culture to absorb on this fun ride.

3.  Through boat ride we get to know about the significance of 10000 years old  Indian culture and civilization to the visitors.

4.  This is Parikrama made of red stones from Rajasthan, consisting 1,152 pillars and 145 windows. It surrounds the temple like a beautiful garland.

This temple is simply amazing, the carvings on the stones, rocks and marbles is magnificent and the complex is quite big, obviously you don't need to buy any ticket because its a temple, there are water shows at 7 pm, the temple is closed on every Monday, there are even books, accessories, medicine, etc shops in the complex, and there even shops for eatables

Akshardham mandir is located at Akshardham metro station on blue line. Exit through gate no 1 and you will reach there by just walking 350m.
Cloakroom facility is there to keep your belongings safe which is free of cost. You have to go through tight security check so better to not carry any electronic items such as Mobile phone, watch, if you carry you have to submit it at cloakroom. Better cafeteria option is available with lots of wide variety of cuisine. Carrying Mobile Phone is prohibited into temple premises. You must watch water fountain show ticket price is 80 rupees for adult. Mandir will be closed on Monday.

Akshardham is a hindu temple with an excellent example of beautiful architecture. Main temple is about 143 feet high. Photography is not allowed in side the temple area. Only authorised photographers inside temple area can click your photo through a proper professional camera and computer setup. In night, temples lighting increase the beauty of the temple. There is no langar or free food but there is food court on payment basis. Vehicle parking area is very large infront of temple. Large bags, trolly bags, mobile phones etc you have to deposit in clock room and shoes to deposit in another place and token will be issued for both. Before entry to the temple there are lines for security check. Everybody keep their personal belts, purse and things made of metals in a tray before security check. You can only carry transparent water bottle along with you. A box of 5 pieces of PRASHAD available for Rs. 50/- as on today. You can spent One hour. Many People from different countries also visits daily. Inside the temple area there is a Gift shop, where you can buy many related books and gifts. Overall is a very nice place to visit.

Beautiful place. Here is famous a laser show. This best show & cleaning is better. Prasad is too tasty. This architecture is too good & made by white marble. This temple is like drvidiyan temple (triangle shape).

Best place to be in peace. One can simply spend the whole day their enjoying the architecture, museum, movie and the boat ride. The canteen is huge and serves the traditional yummy food. The best thing is that the phones are not allowed here. Awesome experience. One cannot regret being here.

It's the swami Narayanan Akshardham temple. It is the beautiful temple and nice place. Night 8 PM awesome water and lessor light water dance program are done. It temple has some exhibition and nice programme.

Akshardham offers a beautiful theme program which includes the theater show, boat ride and story depiction via idols.
The best part of the visit is the evening "Fountain Show". It is a mesmerizing show of about half an hour, illustrating a mythological act using a unique blend of music, water and lights!
The only thing that bothers is the huge queue for deposit of belongings. Rest, a must visit for people of every age group.

Not that great. Considering the fact that it's a very recent construction and there's no historical significance, I wasn't that much impressed. It was very crowded. The queues for security check was terrible. Wondered if there might be a stampede in the crowd. The only good thing is the water show. They won't allow cameras or any electronic device inside. They won't allow anything inside for that matter. Only purses are allowed. All belongings should be kept in the cloak room.

That's big place and wonderful creation and also the short movie and boat riding is more wonderful. If any one want to visit akshardham then please see the short movie and take ride of boat.

Go for the water show. Rest its your choice Also keep your anger at home and should carry a bucket of patience for the security check process. No photos allowd unless you pay for it.

The architecture and carvings are splendid and unmatchable. The experience in museum is marvelous but since moiles are not allowed we have nothing to take home as memories. The most disappointing part is they don't give anything as prasad. Even the most popular Khichdi is charged which is high for the portion serve which is not sufficient for one person. On top of it they expect people to give donation.

The best place in Delhi, only I can say it combination of religious, traditional, technology. Amazing architecture. Everyone should take boat ride, and don't miss the musical fountain show

Good for family outing and children. But this is not a spiritual place if anyone thinking such then you will be disappointed. Huge campus need good amount of time, bags, mobile and photography strictly prohibited.entry is free but inside many fancy activities happen and for those you have to buy tickets which cost you 100-800 (depending upon activities). Metro station is around 200m from temple.

Temple itself is very beautiful and different to others we have seen - site is clearly signposted for tourists that can speak English - can get a cloth to cover shorts if you forget to wear trousers - food court and playground are handy facilities - light show is pretty - security really good and felt v comfortable leaving phones there - exhibitions are v high-tech and well done with good facilities for English speakers (bar the water show) - drinking water on site.

CAPITALISM HAS HIJACKED THIS TEMPLE - this temple has become a theme park with a boat ride, cinema, fast food, animated water show - no phones allowed inside purely bc they want you to use their photography services; security is very tight on this, you won’t get a phone in - focus of the site not even really on the temple but on the faith it is part of, we learnt virtually nothing about the temple - if you speak English you will have to wait longer for the exhibitions as they need enough English speakers to run it.

Would still recommend - you get a lot for the price of the ticket.

This is a must visit place in Delhi. If you are for a trip in Delhi please must visit here. Timings of this place is strict so please on time. Mobile phones are not allowed inside the campus. Not to worry about that they have landline phones inside and they also have proper room for the safety of your mobile and other luggage. Light show is fabulous.

The laser show and foundain attracted me. Well kept tidy and clean. In every aspect it is perfect. An unique temple n India. Vast and huge in both it's exteriors and interiors. Full security is here, restricting from cameras and phones and also shoes and sandals (the preliminary step to enter a worship place). Seems like an empire. With amenities of food court with all types of dessert and juices and then play area for children, laser shows and more. Beyond words to say. They really amused me
So its better to go and see, it was a worth worthy trip for me.

One of the best places to visit in Delhi. You need at least 1 day to visit the whole temple. The temple has magnificent shows which ends up late in evening. The shows consist of Robotic Show, Short Film, Boat Ride, and Water show. All shows are very amusing and worth the tickets. The ticket prices are genuine. Mobile phone are not allowed inside the premises.
