Food is totally bad, don't waste your money other option are there. Dont come to this Shop.

Have been visiting this place for 2 decades now when it was operated from a small cozy shop, the quality of their food has turned really poor. Service too is pathetic now. Their most famous dish chicken shawarma has lost taste and quality both. Do not go with family please. The owners now seem to be least interested in service and quality.

Gave stale shawarma and not ready to accept their fault as well. NOTHING WAS GOOD AT ALL

The staf at the reception is very rude and don't have decent maner to deal with the customer.they are very aroant.deals in a sarcastic way and over all the resto is good.they have good food they.

A heaven for chicken lovers, Their Shwarma is best in Delhi (maybe india) and other chicken dishes are awesome too and khamiri Roti is just superb

Worst place for food. And the food quality is worst with such high price.
Specially biriyani I will give the negative review with such price. The staff behaviour also not good. The worst place in NFC market. My suggestion please don't go there with family as well as with friends. Please don't go in Al- bake such a waste of money.

Food was very good. Service was quick. Tried shawarma after long time it was nice, just that chicken should be grilled more, few bites in between tasted raw, but otherwise flavours were great. Another dish I tried was Mutton Nihari and Khambiri roti, that was perfect in taste n spices. Overall it was a good experience.

Had some shawarma there, but quality is not what its used to be, on the other hand it's getting expensive now, ok place for those who would want to try shawarma, after knowing about this place.

I only eat shawarma there i am eating there shawarma from 10-15 years i like it it is jucy and soft.
Pice is little high 80rs for 1 shawarma.

Shawarmas are really good, I also ordered Biryani, mutton kebabs. Kebabs and biryani were not that good. Go here only if you want to eat Shawarmas.

The OG AlBake at NFC Community Centre is good. But just like any restraurant that tries to go into the franchise model and fails to impress, AlBake is not a different story.

Al Bake is neither street food and neither a restaurant. The street stalls across them sell tastier rolls at half price. And neither does Al bake measure up for seating, service or ambience. The service staff, cooks and owners talk loudly in crass language from a distance adding to sound pollution. Paneer roomali roll taste was terrible. Not worth a visit.

Good for Mughlai food and Shawarma basically.
Though I only prefer Shawarma with Lemon tea from the adjacent tea stall.
Per Shawarma roll costs 70-80rs per roll.

I think its one of the oldest nd best place for shawarma in delhi so the one who loves shawarma can definitely give this place a try

In the bylanes of the New Friends Colony Market, it is mostly known for its signature dish - the Shwarma.

They have lost taste Shawarma - what they are known for now stinks with unhygenic kitchen and wirst customer service.

Best resturant for nonveg food items. All products are available at very cheapest price. It like a family restaurant. Easy to reach nearest metro station is sukhdev vihar metro station. Only 1.2 km away from metro station. Here also many other market are available.

I have been coming here and eating here for more than a decade now! This place is for the foodies who doesn't consider above good food. However, the sitting is not nice, you may find flies etc and foul smell. To address this, Al-Bake have another restaurant (withAC) where you can sit in much cleaner place and rejoice!

Al-Bake is a synonym to "chicken shawarma" it's like: if you are Delhites or visit delhi and missed Al-Bake shawarma then it's a miss trip.
A plate of chicken shawarma got 6 rolls with mayonnaise. It's so damn good that it just slips in your stomach, chicken a juicy, flavoured and soft.
When you are done with your Shawarma apatite then try Roasted Chicken, chicken tikka roll.

This place definitely losing its charm and love people use to have for it in their heart
the shawarma was so small and expensive but good enough. Other than that we ordered seekh kabab and biryani, couldn't eat the kabab it was just bad and smelly. The biryani wasn't anything special, a bit dry even. And the worse thing is the bill overall was high but the maintenance is so bad it's almost like a dhaaba at this point.had to ask for menu like four time. Me and friends (all girls) were there for one of your friend's bday lunch and the staff members kept watching and making comments, making assumptions as to why we must be here‍️ there was some other customers right behind us (uncles in Their 50s) who KEPT staring at my friends constantly and making comments, it made them so uncomfortable we just quickly had our meal and left. Definitely not coming back tho:)

Seating and ambience can be improved be who cares when the Shawarmas are this good. Staff is friendly, be sure to tip them.

Good quality of food and services. Location is good, easy reach for everyone in NFC NewDelhi. Sitting arrangements are little awkward, same like street outlets. Not very expensive considering quality of food.

Al-Bake located in complex of New friends colony, Delhi. Famous for their only speciality- Chicken shawarma rolls.
The restaurant is good, but you have to wait at peak hours to get a table. Very much crowed and popular though

Don't order from this restaurant. They are selling contaminated and bad smelling food, which could be hazardous to health.

Shawarma is now the size of Khandvi, and the price is on the high. Had the taste been amazing, I wouldn't have cared but even that wasn't as good as it was before. Al Bake can do better, but I guess it chooses not to because 'brand'.

Good food but hell expensive.from Delhi per say it is expensive and need to be looked into.people come for the name but just a shawrama at 160 is very high to ask for.

People should remember there starting time. From where they have started there business. MashaAllah they have built very good business and made huge popularity. But it doesn't mean that you forget everything. You forget customer respect, how to behave with customers, how to treat customers. Very bad attitude specially the lady owner who sits on cash counter. Erogance in their behavior and talk. They have become very cruel after they earned wealth.

I just want to say remember there is Allah who have given you everything when you were nothing. So if Allah can bless you with everything then you should be afraid from that he can take everything whenever he wants.

Al Bake is famous for Shawarma and we liked it as well. However did not liked the main course. We ordered Bhuna Chicken basis the recommendation of the server but it was not a good preparation.

Shawarma is good but didn't like the atmosphere here as place is not Hygienic & Shawarma is a lil bit on a Expensive side. Like Youngsters generally explore options with good food on Budget & Shawarma's 1 plate costs 140.

Also you'll have to pay Parking Charges in the Market if you're especially coming to NFC Market

The place has definitely lost its charm and lustre. The portions have reduced. The preparations are quite oily and disproportionate in terms of spices. We ordered a biryani and the regular dhaba chicken. The rumaali roti was cold and stale. Needless to say, it's only the prime real estate and an established name that's working out for Al bake now.

If anyone's around the area and really want to eat at the place, do try out the Shawarma.

Quantity is too less, and price is too high. Aur sone pe suhaga! One plate of chicken shawrma of ₹140 with out Mayonnaise, menager said when we as him.we ordered 4 plate chicken shawrma and get just 2 small pouches of Mayonnaise,

I visited this place after quite long and the taste was still intact. The problem with outdoor sitting was the stench coming from a sewerage line next to it. Service was prompt too and enough parking space available. Remember they are the pioneer of shawarma in delhi and one of the oldest to prepare this cuisine too.

I am surprised how these reviewers are giving thumps up to AL Bake. I am a foodie have been eating at AL Bake since it started when the owners had come back from Middle East. I visited AL Bake after 15 yrs. The quality of chicken is horrible try opening the Roll to see how they mince the chicken. Plz be careful while ordering the food out there Hygiene is down the Gutter, experience factor down the Gutter. Overall below expectation I personally fell the Food and Health department should also check the chicken and the various stuff they are selling at their Shop at New Friends Colony Community center. Advise Avoid it invest your money on something you know which is good when it goes inside your stomach.

Its famous for its shawarmas but they have issues for hygiene and upkeep. The waiters are also not reasonably mannered. Good for cheap eats only!

Quality and quantity both have come down in comparison to what it was a few years ago. What was a 50 rupee shawarma which would suffice a normal kid/woman's appetite, now has turned into a mouthful. While the taste has also gone down, it isn't like what it was before. Won't stop frequenting the place, but definitely will give a think on whether a trip to the place all the way from gurgaon is warranted.

Place is known for its sawarma and indeed deliver on expectation. It's bit spicy, so recommend to have drink with it. There's a possibility one could find rush in evenings.

A place to go and enjoy both food and seating in a traditional setup. Nihari is out of the world. Best time to be around is 7 pm. Although it is difficult to reach here, but you can ask around and reach this place.
The place is small, hardly 10-15 people can sit inside the shop, so grab a plate, try and find a table inside, if not, then use the throng of two Wheelers outside the shop to use them as a makeshift table, and trust me, you won't be disappointed.

The star of the place is the Nali Nihari with Magaz along with piping hot Tandoori Khamiri Rotis, which is yum.

Prices are very reasonable, priced just under 200 bucks for 2 persons.

Timings can be an issue and it finishes very fast, so try and be there early during the morning hours or in the evening so as to not be disappointed.

The place is very well known for the swarmas. It is fully occupied at all time but the sanitation could be improved here. The food is tasty and has a distinct taste but if they could provide better sanitation and better service, this would be considered as one of the best places for budget price food in Delhi.

Tried their shawarma few times and it is okayish, not so great for the price. It seems they are charging just for their name now, shawarma quality has degraded. Tried chicken tikka lababdar, it was good.

It's cost sensitive but didn't like the food Quality. You can checkout the pic I upload and don't know how they have so much hype.

Its a fantastic restaurant, very famous for its speciallity Shwarma Rolls and Kheer, the menu is rich and one can find variants in Veg and Non Veg both. Although the quality I ate recently not as good as it was 5-7 years ago.but its ok.freshness and juicy shawarma are all time favorite.
