Aquaterra Adventures

We had a very good experience w aquaterra. My daughter and I wanted to go to Dayara Bugyal and they arranged a customized trek for just the two of us. This included pickup at Dehradun, tour of Rishikesh, stay at Atali ganga, drive to Barsu (stay at lodge), 3-day trek, and airport drop off. We had a last minute customization for stay in Chamba and visit to Kunjapuri - they graciously accomodated that!

For us every part of the trip was pleasant, given quality of staff at every level - the guides (Sunitaji and Vikasji) were very friendly, driver (Bhoopiji) was very nice and knowledgeable, cooks and horsemen were also great. At every point we felt cared for and safe. At Barsu the guides were even nice enough to take us to village homes of folks they knew and we got warm welcomes.

At a higher level, Vaibhavji (who owns aqauterra) was also available to speak with and kindly added Sunitaji as guide upon our request. Also, lastly I would say we were very warmly received at the lodge at Barsu by the owners.

Highly recommend this group of people and aquterra for tours and treks!

Very sorted, organised trekk to Dayara Bugyal. Team members Jitender ji, prem, Mahipal ji, vipin and Jai have been extremely hospitable and well experienced crew. Highly recommended and will be looking forward to book more treks in future.

The Brahaputra/ Upper Siang - Nov 2022. The expedition was unbelieveable and Aquaterra are a world class outfit. Communication prior to the holiday were first class with regular issue of info about the trip and prompt response to any queries raised.the expedition itself was amazing - first class approach to Health and Safety - no illness, amazing food (especialy considering most was taken with us and cooking was undertaken in a tent on the beach), stunning scenery and beach camps in the middle of nowhere and a great bunch of felllow adventurers.the rafting was ' high adrenaline ' but the guides were very safety aware making it an exhillerating experience but at the same we felt comfortable that they always knew what they were doing.you need to do this epic trip that only a few hundred people have ever undertaken. The Markha Valley trek was an amazing one with Aquaterra. The staff to client ratio, the knowledge of the area & the quality of food & service makes this the best company to trek with.

Dayara Bugyal: A wonderful short meadow walk with a couple of steep trails in the wonderful forest! With fabulous views that were revealed to us in all their glory on the last day, with glimpses in between!
Well managed by Prem Singh Chauhan our lead guide and all those with him. Knowledgable, well mannered, helpful and patient. Not my first trek with Aquaterra, and certainly not my last! A great trek for first timers and children as well!
