I started learning Korean at Arirang around 5-6 months ago, which was my first time learning a foreign language. I was so happy to acquire a new ability, but I was also nervous about how it would go and how I'd learn a language that I'd never learned before. But when I first started, Ms. Banasmita Baruah made it so simple and enjoyable. She put her heart and soul into teaching us and connecting with us in order to deliver the content. She makes the topics obvious, and her extensive knowledge of the language makes her teaching more straightforward and endearing. She is not only a good instructor, but also a great mentor; she instills confidence and offers the impression that "I CAN DO IT. " She also advises us on our future plans after learning Korean. Overall, I'm grateful to have met Ms. Banasmita Baruah, Ma'am, while on my language adventure.

I would surely recommend Arirang to others, for they not only efficiently teach Korean language but also provide it's students with letter of recommendations. I would especially like to thank Banashmita ma'am for providing me with one on such a short notice. I just can't be thankful enough.

As a student of Arirang Korean Academy, I have to say, I'm really impressed with the quality of the classes here. The teachers are very knowledgeable and patient, and they create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the classroom. I appreciate that they take the time to explain difficult concepts and are always willing to answer any questions I have.

I don't know what's the problem but my father visited the academy 2 times for asking for my admission and other fee stuff and all. He was told by the staff that he will get reply through mail but nothing happened for about 2 months. I heard about the academy a lot but it didn't responded in my matter I am clearly disappointed. I want to learn Korean but it's getting difficult for me know bcz Aka is only near me other academy are very far. When my father asked about the academy from the near by places they said that this academy is not worth it. So for clearing this matter I personally visited the academy but it was closed and when I asked about the academy they said that AKA don't has a fixed time they open the academy when they want to. It's very very disappointing. If the staff is saying that they will mail then why they don't do that. It is said that first impression is the last impression so impression towards this academy is not good they don't even do what they say I have been waiting for the mail for 4 months now. I regret wasting my time by believing and waiting for your response

Director, Banasmita ma'am takes online classes with students of Dubai, Malaysia, Singapore and even U. S as i got to know from one of my friends in Singapore. She doesn't take online classes with Indian students. Only NRI's are her prime concern. This is not fair.i request her to give equal importance to Indian students as well.

I've been learning in AKA for over a year now and the experience has been quite fruitful and productive. I'm grateful to Banasmita ma'am for her efforts and all her hardwork to ensure a proper understanding of the foreign language. Her love and support has been motivating me from day 1. It's a beautiful platform to boost one's skill of language learning.

Arirang family has given us a shelter. If we blame our own family sometime later we will have nowhere to stand. This is for students who want abrupt success and criticise unnecessarily. Have patience, Arirang will never leave even when we reach Korea. Much is offered free of cost like councelling, university admission procedures.likewise

Sometimes response may be late but once responded the harmony is wonderful. Untill the student reaches Korea or get a job Arirang never leaves. This is simply wau factor.
I love Korean music.and I hope Arirang will help me to reach my aim.

In simple words, I can only say that your first choice can be arirang.reasones are obvious namely flexibility of timings, planned curriculum, wherein students are given the first priority, variegated competitive programs and last but not the least in case of taking admission, students never get disappointed, someway or the other the students are accommodated. All in a nutshell.

I never thought Korean learning would be so much fun.banasmita ma'am, you are my best guide ever. Surely it's study materials are incredible, paving my way for wider dimensions. Fear psychosis, I bid you adieu.thanks team arirang too.

I am fully satisfied with AKA's curriculum, materials, handouts, assignments, and periodic tests. I have been highly motivated by teachers here, whenever I face difficulties or have doubts- they used to support a lot. I have almost finished my Basic level and moving to Intermediate level soon.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON HERE. JOIN KCC DELHI INSTEAD.

I've studied with them and I do not recommend it to anyone unless you have spare money to waste.

This school is a joke. They shouldn't even call themselves a school. They're just running a pathetic money making business which is bound to collapse sooner or later. All these five star reviews are either fake or paid. I joined Arirang in Dec 2021 and these are my findings.

1. No proper schedule.
2. This person Banasmita does not allow questioning the teachers about some normal stuff like creating a whatsapp group.
3. Banasmita does not let us interact with the teachers on a one to one personal level.
4. They give you a link to join the class and make you wait unnecessarily.
5. There is no proper communication.
6. They do not inform students about change in batch timings.
7. Sometimes Banasmita will message you on whatsapp about the class timings just a few minutes before the class starts.
8. They do not even provide a proper one hour session
9. This person Banasmita will be there in every session with her mic and camera off to make sure students cannot discuss their issues with teachers.
10. Most of the times they do not pick your calls.
11. They do not provide proper books. They will only give you a 10 page PDF
12. They do not have proper researched material. The PDFs they provide can be found online. They're using this book that you can find online. The book is called "Basic Korean" A Grammar and Workbook by Andrew Byon.

Overall, it was a pretty bad experience and there is so much room for improvement.

They have this teacher whose name is Sabitri Thapa. She is a decent teacher and you probably will find her online if you do a bit of research. Just contact her for personal classes if you want, instead of joining Arirang.

Edit: - Adding the screenshots of the conversation I had with Banasmita after I wrote this review. Now she’s trying to contact multiple times now that it’s too late. You say you're not going to remove my comments? A) Comments cannot be removed by businesses B) There is no sentiments involved here, this is pure and unbiases review of you guys. You should have managed these things earlier. Please do not contact and make excuses. I hope things get better for you guys and the students who put time, money and their efforts learning Korean. Our Director, Banasmita Ma'am instills in us an unbelievable confidence. Thr brilliant way she takes the fear factor away from us is amazing. She gives us a nursery class aura, then suddenly transports us to a higher level. Learning Korean has become much interesting for me now.i can do my other courses simultaneously. Thanks Arirang.

My experience with AKA has been great, I get to know so much more about Korean language and culture all thanks to Banasmita and Sabriti ma’am. They both have been helping me and other students whenever we needed them so till now my journey has been amazing.

In Arirang I can breathe the air of unity, equality and pure brotherhood. Yes this has enhanced my belief in the rich culture of Korea, a country sans religious fanaticism and equality at its best.

It's been a very good learning experience for me so far studying in AKA. All Teachers teaches very good and with lot of patience. Teachers make sure that my doubts are clear and that I understand whatever is taught in class. It's great that I could have joined AKA timely.

Academy instructional videos are of immense help and indeed a valuable supplement for students. The lessons are well structured with a very systematic and harmonious progression of skills. Our Director madam, Banasmita has become an epitome of courage and confidence. It is the oldest Korean learning institute in Delhi. Its survival is due the fantastic learning policies adopted by this academy. Long live this Academy.

Selection criteria is ennobling. Rightful attitude is all that matters in the basic stage and in intermediate and advanced level there are tests. Both Indian and native Korean teams make the whole project a successful one. Added to it is the Cultural class from Korea where a slice of life in Korea is shown. Economic transformation of a poverty ridden country to one of the top economic powers is well explained during its various enlightening sessions. Well i have become culturally enriched. Kudos to team Arirang.

Arirang korean academy is my first choice. Guys come and explore it. Waiting here for your reviews too.and I will wait.

Writing this for people who are looking for Korean learning in India.
While I was desperately looking for a registered institute to continue my Korean learning, I stumbled upon Arirang through a Youtube video.
I am currently enrolled in their Intermediate class.

They will ask you to pay around 17k+ amount for basic level bt they divided this level in 2 parts then they will ask for 17k + again for basic level & the basic course will take 6-9 months to learn in which there is no techniques only false promises. My friend was a student here. I met banasmita mam too. Dont fall for it. That's for ur own good
