Nothing is good.these people don't know how to make biryani and kebab.very poor and unhygienic.

Less than ordinary. Used to be very good. Seems like time took its toll on this legend as well. Mutton korma meat quality was very good. Taste very ordinary. Biryani has changed and become achari, not Mughal anymore. Galauti was a waste of appetite and time. Khamiri roti was ok

ONLY A TAKE-AWY JOINT. Also they don't serve less than half kg (Serves 4 people) which is for RS. 280/- and also doesn't provide any accompaniments like Onion salad, Gravy or even Mint chutney. The taste of biryani is little above than Good and is not that great as it feels incomplete without accompaniments. Would recommend this place only if you're planning a party of many people at home and can manage everything around it on your own.

Mutton korma is so yummy and chicken biryani is also good in taste and 1/2 kg portion is sufficient for 3-4 people.

I have tried Chicken Biryani and Chicken Korma after a long time. And I am very disappointed with the taste of the food.
In the past they served very delicious and quality food, but nowadays they are using low price biryani rice in chicken biryani. And also the Korma was very Salty.

Must try. Galawati and Sheekh Kebab. Also can try Biryani which is little different in taste.

The best place for Mughlai style Mutton in best price. But you have to call to book your order that how much quantity you want to buy in kgs.

Believe me if you book your order for half kg than you need 4 people to finish it.
Best part they only weight the pieces of mutton not gravy. And gives you gravy extra extra extra. Yummy and reasonable.

Huge serving portion. But taste is not what it used to be. Chicken was dry in biryani and qorma was full of oil. I think mutton was better than chicken.

Babu Shahi bawarchi is located near Pragati maidan inside Matka Peer Dargah premise. This little shop is very old and serve authentic mughlai Biryani in typical delhi style. Few years ago this place known to be the best biryani shop in Delhi but now a days they lost their taste and fame. They hygiene level is below average at this place even you can say very poor in hygiene, utensils are very dirty and a quirky smell present at shop every time.
There are some more biryani shops and stalls started in the same premise of Dargah Matka Peer one of them is golden biryani you can try biryani and kebabs at Golden Biryani this place is much more Cleaner than Babu Shahi.

Quality of Food is POOR, taste is WORSE and Service is WORST.
NOT AT ALL SUGGESTED.
They do not even know how to talk to customers.

Budget friendly food to eat.
2-3 other joints have opened up near to this one but this still beats all of them.
The kebabs & briyaani are delights.portion is good.
Best part is taste remain same even after you visit after long time.
Good place with enough space for car parking & dine.
For dine - if you love to explore that local nukkad stuff this is a place for you.

Be careful how much you order. 1kg Biryani translates into 3.5 kg of prepared Biryani. It's better to tell them how many people you need the Biryani for.

I went here especially from purana kila with my two friends. I loved their rumali roti and chicken curry. Mutton kebabs were also good. For one plate Biryani, one kebab, one curry and two rotis the total bill came up to 160 rs. @mallikakh @prasannarahini

Ps there is only 1 shop named babu shahi bawarchi which is shop no 5 it is the only shop which is since 1965 and what briyani is famous for there is only take away option you can't just sit and eat. If your order is more then 2 kg i'll suggest you better give order 3 hours before, also the owner says 8 people can eat in one kg but if you are a foodie take 5 to 6 people per kg. Cost of mutton Biryani is 700 approx and 530 for chicken.p. S there are shop nearby this you can sit and eat there but those shop are not matkapeer is famous for.

Worst biryani ever tasted.waste of money.bought 2kg for party at home but everyone was dissapointed.friends were not able to even eat quarter of the portion served.

Biryani is good.but they have to serve ketchup with biryani to make it more testy. Because each person have their own test of tong.

The authenticity of Biriyani of Delhi can get only in Babushahi Bawarchi. It's a take way and a best place to take food for parties. In 1 kg of Biriyani they deliver 2 kgs of it. 1: 1 ratio in which you get 1 kg of rice n 1 kg of chicken. So when you order.watch out for appetite:).

Best in taste but only take away. No dining system here. Only selected food menu which have to buy in bulk. Chicken and Korma and Chicken and mutton Biryani. No roti salad or anything else. Its best to place order before you reach here as on spot order take time to cook. Its good try sometime but cant be on daily basis as they have only 4 food items in menu.
