My wife and I had ordered thalis for lunch yesterday 05/07/2023 late afternoon. The service staff were very good - cleanly dressed, polite, helpfull. The north Indian food in the thali was really awesome. Be it gobhi or Shahi paneer, boondi raita or daal. Hot Lachha parantha with papad, salad, vinegar onion with chutney and pickle made it a superb delicacy to eat. Lastly the ambience -neat, clean and shining furniture and the floor also stole the show. As foodies Bhaja Govindam at Asaf Ali road has come under our regular visit restaurant. Bon appetite
Amazing place. The place has such a positive aura, you literally teleport to another dimension. The food here from their tea to masala dosa or uttpam, you name it and it's deliciously heaven. I am in awe of this place and would highly recommend to everyone. Do visit this place as soon as possible. You will thank me for this review. P. S.the place is fully packed always, get yourself a prior booking.
Have been coming here for 10-12 years now.almost twice/thrice every month with family.the food.the ambience.the service.all are good.reasonably priced pure veg restaurant in Delhi.worth visiting regularly.
If there is any place where the eating experience has always been top notch and satisfying, it is this-BHAJ GOVINDAM. Let’s keep the price aside, which is barely anything as compared to the mighty names in gastronomy business who charge a hefty sum for weird fusion food in taste and quantity. The food here is outstanding whether it is South Indian or North Indian or the delicious chola bhatura. A complete family restaurant, the staff here ensures that every guest is served in the best manner both with food and their impeccable behaviour. Even after 20 years, this place continues to be our FAVOURITE Restaurant!
A good place to hang out with friends/family/spouse. They offer north indian/south indian and Italian food. Must try special malai kofta and garlic naan.
I been coming here since I was a kid, I was there last night, the taste is still same and service is fantastic no doubt they take care of you. Highly recommended.
I went near to it for mother's MRI she was ill Felt hungry so found this resturent Wrost Experience here gone with my mother for fooding first of all they keeps us waiting for an hour then they gave seat where air was'nt good haved food even after most of seats were vacant then also they keeped us wait behavior of manager wasn't good.
It's a great restaurant to have a family dinner. You can chose any variety of food, be it North Indian or South Indian. It is superb. The only this is that it's full of people and may take 30 mins to 1hour or even more than that to grab your seat and eat
Bhaja Govindam is a restaurant located in a fairly quiet area of Delhi. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but inside there’s no question that this restaurant is intended to be more upmarket and the menu prices reflects that. I ordered a Paneer Uttapam and a sweet lassi. Seriously, the uttapam was too salty and by the time the chutney had run out, there was no way to mask the saltiness and I basically didn’t bother eating the remaining third of the uttapam.
The service is also a bit slow. I asked for the bill and 10 minutes, still nothing. Even after a reminder to the waiter, it took another 5 minutes for the bill to arrive.
This restaurant operating in the building of famous old time theatre 'Delight cinema' situated on the borderline of walled city, at Asif Ali Road. The restaurant started in early 90's. I had my office 'German Remedies Ltd' close by that way it was one of our favorite eating place, serving primarily South Indian delicacies. But today it is a multi cuisine restaurant with a decent ambience but fairly crowded during week ends because of close proximity to thickly populated walled city one has to align in for a queue to experience tasty delicacies. Every dish served here meets your taste bud's satisfaction and fairly affordable. Must visit if you are in Delhi
Good place for a wide variety of vegetarian dishes - south and north Indian. Sometimes staff delay order delivery and billing. Not so great service. They get confused when slightly more people arrive for dining.
The food is super duper delicious! Also the sitting is pretty Okayish. It could be better. The place is crowdy at weekends so make sure to book before visiting. A MUST TRY PLACE FOR A FOODIE
One of the few vegetarian restaurants in the area offering wide range of food. The service was excellent. Waiters were quick to respond and showed alertness. The seating was comfortable. Food was delicious. Value for money: absolutely Worth a visit: yes.
Bhaja Govindam Vegetarian Restaurant is located in the area of Delight Diamond Cinema. It is a small but it is very nice restaurant. I have been here for lunch and snacks. It was very nice. Ambience and music inside is very good. It is quite soothing to be here.
Good food hygine is good nice n simple ambiance but you need to shall out more money from pocket as their menu gonna cost for 2 is 1000.otherwise food test good
Absolutely lovely food, plentiful and filling and delicious, if there is one thing i would suggest is to increase seating as it takes ten to fifteen minutes wait to find a table. Otherwise it has a lovely old school charm and very clean premises
Old school, warm and personalized is how I would define the place. Was close to it on 23rd January, when we had gone to view the republic day parade rehearsal. After the rehearsal got over, I searched for a place to eat and this was the closest place with a decent rating. Though initially sceptical because of the location, the place turned out to be a pleasent surprise. Seems still stuck in the nineties (not a bad thing necessarily) in terms of decor, the food was really good, but what was the best was the personalized service offered by the staff, recommending us dishes, offering suggestions on how to eat some of the specialities and going out of the way to identify what we liked and offer more of the same to our delight. Full marks for the treatment.
