I am visiting this place since 2016 and quality of food is going down n there was no lighting on my table during dusk time. I specially gv this rating for serving n ambience

I've been a regular for the last 8 years or so. If a friend/relative is visiting, I make it a point to take them here. My favorite is their bhapa doi cheese cake. MUST TRY!

Nice place to have a good time and enjoy traditional delicacies such as himachali thali and kumaun thali. Coffee is good.

Had a pleasant experience. Tried their limited time Bengali food festival. The food was delicious. There was a wait time of 30 mins but it’s worth the wait. Ambience is calm and pleasant.

Place is good and food is great, but didn't like the slow and not so active service of the staff.
Also, Digital Menu with QR code scan is a big no no for revisiting the place.

Variety of food from different states. Had the Kumaoni thali. Good. Also the kumaoni curd raita mustard infused, which is the Kumaoni specialty was great.

Food was good. The self service method of accessing the menu was not at all difficult to use and personally liked it because of covid protocols being followed much easier. The ambiance is great.

Ordered a paneer pasanda and pudina parantha. Freshly served with adequate waiting time. Ambience steals it all.

Great ambience and good service. Usually crowded, so be prepared to wait. Food is pretty decent, though cannot say that for all items on the menu (selective items are really delectable!). Great place to hang out with loved ones; accomodates large groups as well. Would visit again for the prawn curry, ragi appam and jalebi-rabdi!

The place generally has a lot of waiting time especially on weekend but it also has a museum along side which one visit

We tried different dishes like Palak patta chaat, sweet potato fries with fish chips and special chilli chicken with dosa.
All the dishes had a twist in taste and was a bit different than the usual offerings

Overall - If you want to waste your time & money. This is the place for you.

1. Food is sad. The menu is so limited. You would expect that they would make the limited food well. But nopes, the famous "palak chaat" is super oily and underwhelming. Will not bother to talk about rest.
2. Service is pathetic. The servers don't come to your table, and if you get the table near the entrance, then not even God can convince these servers to come to your table.
3. Ambience is nice. Seating arrangement is nice. Location is convenient

Palak patta was very good. But dhokla was below average. Oily food. Exorbitant price.
Improvement require on that part.

I found it OK. Menu was quite small but everything tasted decent. Loved the ambience but there were a lot of mosquitos.

We stopped by for a cup of coffee which I think was good. What makes this place unique is their seating.

Peaceful and quaint! And delicious food to boot. After a very tiring sojourn at the dusty and crowded trade fair the cafe was a much welcome break. The only minus was the limited menu.

Situated right besides National Handicraft Museum, cafe lota offers brilliant decor and very varied menu to select from, food was excellent and service was very quick.
The place is usually buzzing on weekends and you might have to wait to get seated but the food is worth the wait.
Make sure you take a walk though the museum as well after you’re done eating at the cafe, lots of photo opportunities all around as well as some very interesting craft to go through. A must visit if you’re in delhi & looking for a place to hang out.

Over hyped.apple jalebi is waste. Quantity of daal was very less. Panner gravy was ok ok. Only food to try is Palak patta chat.

Taste and food quality is good. Price average a little on higher side. Potion are small but tasty. Parking is an issue if you are using private vehicle.

Enjoyed a lot in rainy ambience. Their palak patta chaat, Ragi vada pao and Ambaadi iced tea (Hibiscus) tea is very very yummy

There are simply not enough great things to say about this place! The food, service, and ambience are all impeccable, making for one of the best dining experiences in Delhi. It was truly a pleasure visiting, and I will be back.

Do not forget to try the Palak Chaat, Pekoe Teas, and Apple Fritter Jalebi!

I would highly recommend the bhapa doi cheesecake, the palak patta chat, filter coffee and kokum sherbat were nice too. Calm and earthy ambience, quick service but tad high on the price point.

A beautiful aesthetic cafe with exotic menu.a must visit for people who love to try mix match cuisines in great ambiance.

We ordered chicken idli, mustered fish tikka, kokum sharbat, South Indian filter coffee, kathal biryani and bhapa doi cheese cake everything was just amazing.

Chicken idli is something which literally satiate our taste buds literally juicy fresh and so yummy a healthy version of Delhi's momo excluding the outer maida covering.

Staff were courteous and helpful. Food was really good and satisfying.

Best service, tasty food - ragi vada pav and dhokla.
Parking is available, enough space, no need to park your car at road.
Prompt services, within few mins your order would be at your table.
Orders are given from your table through scanning.

Food was exceptionally well. Palak Chaat and Paneer dish are worth giving a try.
Make sure you call them ahead for reservations. I end up waiting for 40 mins to get a table.

Cafe Lota is all renovated now with Air conditioning and good ambience. Rates have also increased but the taste is still the same. Due to construction in Pragati Maidan, not many people visit here. They are keeping care of Social Distancing and Covid appropriate behaviour. They also have an option to order online and you don’t have to order to a waiter.

Nice and calm place, but menu is very limited and it is a bit too expensive.
Palak patta chaat is famous, but it found it okayish, the curd and chaat part was amazing, but the spinach (palak patta) was fried and eating it felt soo oily, like i could just taste the oil and not the spinach.
Cold kapi and filter coffee, both were very nice and refreshing

I read gud review about the place. So tried out it today. I tried sabudana popcorn and palak patta chat. Both dishes were gud in taste. Also tried kathal biryani and it was ok.could have been better in taste.

I had come once with a friend of mine. The food was amazing. However the person serving us was extremely rude and wanted to shoo us off. Not an inclusive place at all. Sorry won't come again. I had come reading raving reviews but not really worth the hype.

The food was adequate quality but I'd say it was priced on the higher side. The system for ordering wasn't all that convenient either.

It's a family restaurant. Food is delicious is very presentable. Really liked the palak chaat.

Located 1.5 km away from the Pragati Maidan metro station, this restaurant offers calm and peaceful atmosphere. The food is simply delectable. It might not be very pocket friendly but sometimes it's worth spending for the ambience and foods it offers.

Great place to have a food at National art Museum, busy place, finding a seat during popular hours has a good waiting time, the ambience inside and outside the cafe is nice also the service is good.

One of the best places to have meals (had a breakfast here) I've ever been to. Great ethnic feel (obviously for the ambiance n the specific location), n great food. Absolutely must go.

Its good, hygienic and diet friendly place to eat.

As per new trend, barcode from table can be scanned for order and make payment all paperless and contactless work.
If place is full, thay make you a call once sear is free which ia good.standard and budget is in hands only.i tried few dishes and drinks which was yum in taste and experience was good, in waiting time can rome around in musium

A very calm and quite place. Absolutely beautiful ambience. And extremely delicious yet healthy eating options. 10/10 would recommend.

Too much of wait time. Waited for 45 minutes and then left for another restaurant as waiting for further 45 was more excruciating than driving 10 mins to another.

I have been visited to this place more than 20 times. The food quality was very amazing especially palak patta chat but we have gone through one of the worst experience with kesar lassi in our recent visit. The quality of lassi was very poor. It completed muddled our digestive system. Inside ventilation was not appropriate and had vert bad smell. Waiting time is too much which is meaningless.

POOR! Saw a few vlogs on youtube praising the cafe, however the cafe is a very BIG disappointment in real life. Very few items on the menu card, absurdly overpriced and even the signature dishes are very bland i.e. Sandeep prawn fry. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

We went with friends, enjoyed the atmosphere, service was very fast, contact-less ordering and paying, excellent food. Has parking.

Overly hyped rated priced restaurants, the food portions are too small even for one adult, you will hole your pockets just for the ambience but the museum is worth seeing it once

Awesome cafe with pan Indian cuisine.
Creative menu comprises dishes from all the states of India. We had raw papaya salad, palak patta chaat and kathal biryani. All had super fresh ingredients and taste. Aap panna in summer is a must try as it's made traditional way our mothers make it.

Worst experience to be there because of so much mosquitoes and the food they served is also very limited and not that good in taste. And how can someone enjoy the food when so much mosquitoes are biting you continuously.

The bill I got was under “The melting pot food company “ and the food they served was excellently bland.

One of the best place to have breakfast. I am impressed with so many healthy options they provide at this place. I have had ragi bread and Bombay egg bhurji, can't say how much I felt the satisfaction of eating healthy and tasty food, both at the same time. We ordered ragi pav bhaji, aloo Ka parantha and sabudana balls. All of them were delectable. Plus the ambience is such that you feel like you are sitting in the lap of nature, spacious, airy and cool. Staff is very much supportive and professional. Everything was just perfect, wish they sustain this in the future.

This place not hard to find. It is situated in National crafts museum, Gate no. 2. You can take Three-wheeler right from Pragati maidan metro station.

The staff is really courteous, friendly and polite and they know what they are doing.

Ambience is really cozy and decor is really artistic.

Paalak Patta Chaat, Kokam and Baby idli. You can;t miss out on these at least once in your life time. The place has a great ambiance and it is especially wonderful during winters and monsoons. Take your beloved or your family or just chill with a couple of friends.

I simple loved this place due to many reasons like food, service, gentry crowd, Ambience & followed by watching museum.

I often go there but this is the first time I'm reviewing it. I LOVE THIS PLACE! I have been there with friends, with my girlfriend, with my parents, with visitors who had come to Delhi from various parts of the world and this place has always stood up tall to my recommendation and experience. Their menu keeps changing with the season and they bring unique food fusion on the table with quality and taste being the priority. I can't recommend you anything simple because the to.e you'd visit, it might not be on the menu but I'll still point my favourites

The craft meusum is a must visit after a good meal.

Nice place located inside Crafts Museum. One can go without buying tickets to the museum. Attracts nice trendy crowd and may have some waiting. Menu is completely different from regular. Palak patta chaat appears to be most ordered snack. One paneer dish served with Buttered Pudina paratha is the nearest to regular dish there. Food is good though. Offers free Valet parking which is not known to all. Valet will also park it in Bahiron Mandir parking which charges Rs 120 and hotel charges nothing extra. Saves a 5 min walk in traffic which is good.

This place is so Beautiful and Ambience is amazing.crowds are amazing. Foods are tempting in taste. They provide lots of varieties and staffs are kind and polite. Services are good nd served on time. Love this place.offcourse recommended visit this place.

A good place to have a good time with your family and friends. You get a different genre of food. It's a fusion of traditional and modern food. The quantity of food is kind of okay. There is variety of food for diet followers.

Never been there in person but ordered it from swiggy. The kathal biryani and kumaoni raita is something to die for and I guess it's the most popular dish from their menu. Saatu ka paratha and Deccan fish curry was also mouth watering. Most importantly the order was fresh!

As this cafe is named lota cafe a simple name from common house hold "Lota". It is in the campus of National Handloom and Handicraft museum due to this a handcrafted interior seems here. It is full of handsculpted design elements. As this cafe serves a lot of variety of dishes to satish for single and multiple visits. We took two masala chai and Lassi. Taste was quite impressive but for common visitor it is quite expensive. If cafe needs more foot fall then it needs to take care of costing of dishes for sure. Because if a tea costs 60 Ruppes then you can think who can visit or should visit. All though It was a lovely experience.

Chic and classy vibe. Food is served with utmost delight. Palak patta chat has been quite a hit with dilliwallas from last 3-4 years, so that is a must try. Take a round of the museum and crafts shop there, do your shopping and then binge in Cafe lota.

Good ambience and good food. Different and unique food items that you don't get in everyday restaurants.it is a medium costing restaurant not that cheap nor that expensive. Parking is a issue but I think they have a their own parking behind the restaurant otherwise you need to park in bheron mandir parking. There is also an art museum next to it you can check out that also.

The Best and most interesting Navratri Thali I had after a looooong time.the arbi aalu tuk was super, quinoa khicdhi super yum and the samak ke kesri chawal to die for.highly recommend this thali at Cafe Lota

PS: The kuttu Pooris were fab, totally non oily and crisp and not too thick.
Anyone visiting here soon give me a ping, don’t mind the stuff over again.

Brilliant menu.the ambiance is also good, especially for craft museum visitors but otherwise also, its a place of solace with great food, although on a bit expensive side.
