Caffe Tonino

I went there for breakfast and had their mushroom polenta along with a cappuccino. The sauteed mushroom and the salad with the polenta was low on seasoning. However the tomato basil dip was one of the best I ever had. Maximum stars for the dip. Cappuccino was good.

It was a wonderful place to have Italian dishes. There were some new dishes that I have never tasted before

Overall a nice place to dine in, food served was good, ordered for mushroom pizza and pasta (penne arabiata), coffee latte vaniglia could be better (tasted completely like a home made coffee). Also the plates served to eat from were too smal maybe because the tables aren't too big either space constraint being the reason. Overall a good experience.

Everything was fine except the staff … i noticed this thing when i wassitting in the cafe! A couple was talking to each other in some other language and one of the staff member was making fun of them! They even misbehaved with them … the owner should fire such employees!

1. We went there for gluten free options but pasta was not available.
2. AC was not working.
3. For the price, the food quantity was lesser but that's ok since taste was not that bad.
4. Worst, there was something green on plates (for decoration I believe) which got on my fingers while passing around the plate and it didn't come out of my hand even on 2 washes. That was weird.

One of my best Cafes in town, I usually Visit here to spend some quality time with my friends.

I only take a coffee and spend hours over there.

Good food but expensive. They put 15% more than the price on the menu, which makes it quite expensive.

Don’t look on the prices in the menu because you very well knew it was 5star before you came so the cost it according to that.
The staff was very cordial in welcoming me amazing experience

Good place to hangout with friends and loved ones. Service is also good. Good taste of food. On weekends there is waiting time. So be prepared in advance.

When they say Italian, they truly stick to the name. Loved the vibe of the place and of course the food. We ordered 2 veg pizzas that were amazing. Also their bread basket along with few sauces is a great munch. I'd like to visit this place again and explore other Italian dishes

Wonderful experience. The food is amazing. I had the Chef's special Square Pizza, it was definitely worth it. The thin crust was cooked to perfection. Their spaghetti was also pretty good. The wait staff very very friendly and courteous. Definately a good place to enjoy good food and hang out with friends.

Nice food, small portions though. Should not be registered on Dineout App when they don't know what are the rules and regulations of it. Buff steak medium done was up to expectations, fish with gnocchi not so much.

The staff is not active much, the food is fine but the ambience is why they get 4.
Also if they have kept digital menu they should let people order also digitally coz half the time waiters aren't listening

Good food, good ambience but avoid visiting on Sunday/weekend because waiting period usually exceeds 45 minutes.

Also just a heads-up, they don't take any reservations/bookings.

Not at all authentic Italian. We are true fans of Italian cuisine but this was pathetic, I can cook better than this in my sleep.
The arabiatta was basically a scam Full of tomato ketchup, the pizza was wayyyy overdone, the raviolli was stale and of the frozen kind and disgusting and smelly. Lastlyz the gnocchi was rather bareable, but ruined by the same fake-arabiatta

We ordered a veg lasagna, and a few coffees. The portion size of lasagna was small. They do offer complementary breads though.

New Update - 2021
Went there again as this place have many values attached to me and I can't get enough of it. Way good food and way more exploration still pending to do.
Loved it all the way as one of my favourite go to destinations.


White sauce pasta is best (My favourite- Speghatii) Don't try chicken and cheese. Drinks sre good but sometimes they run low on beer stock. Bread basket is a must though i get that complimentary. The place is pocket friendly for 2-4 people splitting bills.

Average food and drinks, parking might be a problem nearby.
Staff behaviour needs to improve.
Found a piece of glass in our iced latte.

The vibe is good, the pasta was amazing but the portion size was too much for me, but for a hogger that portion would be absolutely great. Will go again

One of the best places in Connaught Place, Delhi to have Italian food. Especially the lasgane is simply delicious. The ambience is soothing.

Very cosy environment and very rustic. Social distancing norms are being followed and there is a divider between each table. Waiters are wearing masks and face shields and are taking precautions. Food is delicious. Absolutely loved their pesto!

The interior of the place is so beautiful. It has a vibe. The food is amazing. Specially the lasagna was so good- I have never had one better. Nice presentation and amazing service.

The ambience is great. I loved the vibe. Chicken Lasagna and Brownie Lasagna are a must have. Couple Friendly. The food is tasty but not worth the prices.

Excellent cafe with a minimalistic theme. Food is at a reasonable price and is delicious. I liked the desserts at this cafe, the Blueberry Cheesecake and Tiramisu are a must try.
The ambiance is quiet and premium, but space near the windows will seem a bit crowded to some.

Overall, a great cafe with delicious desserts and a fine & minimalistic ambiance.

I just love this place, the most authentic Italian place I have been to in NCR, their complimentary bread basket which comes with 2 different sauces sets the mood to a high from the beginning itself. The taste and the quality of ingredients is really amazing. Really love everything they serve.
Must visit place for some authentic Pizza, Pasta or Lasagna.
