I experienced a bit of a learning curve at first, but after I constantly studied I was able to keep up with the coursework. Careerist offers tutors and that helped me understand the material better. I put in about two hours of studying, daily, to pass the Manual QA certs. The home work is fairly simple, which compensates for the hours of studying you may have to do in order to pass the certs. Instructors are knowledgeable, reasonable, and down to earth. If any issues arise, just email your instructor and they typically accommodate.
