Atmosphere of the Jamia Central is very good and you can meet here lot of new students and good persons here and quality of food is not very well here

It is quietly good but you can see garbage everywhere on the table, but the environment of people is fantastic you can see Female friendly environment.

Central canteen is situated in gate no 7. There 3-4 shops for various items. Food items like tea, coffee, chhole kulche, biryani, sandwich, parathas etc.are available.

They serve food as you are. Don't try food here. You can't able to differentiate between daal and sabji.

Good canteen with snacks as well as food as relatively cheap price. It has multiple canteens within for different food, for eg biriyani, rolls, dry canteen for shakes, sandwhiches, another for momos, chola kulcha chai etc.
Additionally has plenty of sitting (or protesting area, according to ones need)!

All types of food are available here, but the food should be a little more cheap so that the child does not have much burden.

After 2 years the Central Canteen is functioning again. When I visited today food options were limited. They had chicken biryani, chicken thali and veg thali. Tasty food. Fast service.

Usually I drink pulpy orange by Coca Cola at this canteen. Visited after three years. University is still mostly in lockdown status. Canteen is open. Library still closed as of March End 2022.

Central Canteen bole to CC.there an open area to take tea.lots of chairs are there on which students text tea with their friend I had gone there once lots of people were around there and taking tea and talking with their friends I like that place very much.

Variety of foods available. Good taste of food, veg or non-veg both are available at reasonable rate.

Rich availability of all goods food is actually affordable with justice to your Quality here we actually feel like an arduous student!
Hahaha it's quite bit good than mostly DU'canteen also there is Subsidiaries given to canteen by University so price is so damn reasonable and food is precious, delicious and quite Brilliant.

It looks like any other central or state University canteen in the country. What sets it apart is the variety of food served. Never have I had chicken biryani from a college canteen before. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and also by how inexpensive it was. A portion of chicken biryani for 40/- rupees and non veg thali for 65/-, talk about a good deal. Not awfully crowded, you are sure to find a table to have your meal.

Earlier the central canteen used to be very good. The food was quite delicious, sadly the food quality has gone down now somewhat. Also, there used to be a much larger and varied menu. Nowadays the menu is very limited. Other than that, the seating space has increased. So, overall it's neither too bad nor too good. It's somewhere in between. If you're very hungry and the food on dastarkhwan (the other canteen in the same side of campus) isn't available, you can come here to eat. Or just sit and chill, sip tea/coffee/juice with variety of momos, burgers, sandwiches, chhole kulche, Maggi, pasta and what not. Central Canteen is more of a symbol for hangout spot than canteen itself. Also, various public demonstrations, street plays etc are can also be seen occuring here.
