Centre For Sight Eye Hospital

Worst place to go for eye treatment. Very slow staff. Takes 4 hours at least for just Consultation like any government hospital.

I went to their Rajouri Garden center. I wasted my whole day for nothing. I got appointment in advance for checking my eligibility for contura operation.
Upon arrival, they charged me 600 rupees and asked to wait. After 15 minutes, one trainee staff checked my eye glass numbers. And asked if I am ready to dilution of eyes. And told that the process will take 1 hour more. I agreed. After another 1 hour, he again checked my eye number and then the doctor told me that for contract, I need to go to another centre. They only have cataract surgery here and that I can get cataract surgery is better. Although I do not have any cataract as of now.
After spending more than 3 hours, I got my eye numbers which I already had. I asked that I paid for checking my eligibility for contract operation. Which they simply denied and told me that I paid for checking my vision only. I feel myself stupid that why I ever go there.
I was told that the tests for that operation are done at dwarka centre or at safdarjung centre and not here. Which they can inform me at the time of appointment itself.

I visted here for my routine eye checkup.this place is very good and value for money for eye treatment, all staff and doctors are very good.special thnaks to receptionist they both are very helpful.overall experience is Good

Please do not visit there, if you really care for your eyes. You will get treatment like you are begger as the reception staff will ill treat you.

They will keep you waiting and at last will say time is up and doctor has left for the day. Totally disgusting admin staff and rude at times.

I do not want to give any stars but they do not allow me to save it, Hence giving one star for it but they deserve minus stars for themselves.

I visited this centre today based on feedback from a friend.

Being Saturday afternoon, place was fully crowded with hardly any vacant seat.

After paying at the counter, we waited till one of the junior doctor called for 1st checkup, then 2nd doctor, then an hour waiting after putting an eye drop, then again a doctor. Whole process took apporx 3 hours for basic eye checkup.

I feel staff were courteous but there should be a system of token numbers with digital display so patient should not keep asking the staff about their turn.

They have an in house pharmacy, i felt eye drops which they prescribed and only available at their in-house pharmacy is very expensive like one basic eye drop for 495rs.

Overall, an average experience, like going to an eye specialist in your nearby vicinity not much so special here.

Worst experience at rajouri garden branch.lady sitting at the reception is extremely rude.closing time is 5: 30.but they dont see patient after 5.even the patient is just hving infection issue.

Be prepared to wait for 5-6 hours or even more. In fact, I suggest taking the entire day in hand. They will first charge consultation fees from you and then make you wait for hours together. Treatment of OPD patients and IPD patients (Operation theatre) simultaneously goes on. There are only one/ two specialists for a high volume of patients. If you ask attendants they will tell you that Dr.is in OT, this is lunch time etc.and you will be asked to wait further. There is a complete breakdown of the system. Their focus is on only collecting more money rather than providing quality healthcare services.

In my case, I kept on waiting in spite of taking a prior appointment for their rajouri garden centre. Everyone around was upset and irritated. Some ladies came with small children and children were constantly asking their moms when the doctor would come. I saw some patients arguing. After they put medicine in my eyes which took one and half hours, I was initially told to wait for 15-20 minutes, then for half an hour more and then I was told that the doctor is in OT and it is lunchtime. The staff was clueless when doctors would attend patients in spite of the huge queue. The man at reception behaved as if he was doing favour by replying to people. The lady at reception was completely clueless. Ultimately I left without consultation as I had other plans for the evening and took no.for my lens only.

If possible I would have given zero stars. If they can't deal with patients they should tell patients beforehand prior to charging consultation fees.

Unprofessional Doctor and staff!
We visited the Rajouri Garden clinic for eye check up on 13/5/23, Dr Somya Jena asked for fields test as she had some doubts. After test results came, she asked us to visit another doctor in Dwarka sec-9 to further diagnosis.
If she was not competent enough to diagnose further she shouldn’t have asked for test at rajouri, they should’ve asked to visit dwarka clinic directly instead of wasting our money.
Also doctors always have polite nature, doesn’t matter what question a patient asks bit she is overly agitated…. And frustrated.

1.3.23- I went to buy my mothers eye drops and it cost 220/-. The gentleman didn’t have change of 500 rs. I offered him to pay via PayTm but network issues in their facility didn’t allow, I tried connecting to their WIFI but it was failed. I had 200 rs which I offered him and told him rest I will pay via Paytm in a while. The gentleman man refused and didn’t want to help. The person on the cash counter was also failed to help as they didn’t have the change. Poor experience with the facility and bad interaction with the chemist. Kindly look into the matter.

The OPD staff, doctors and Optoms are very cooperative.

Centre for sight is the best eye care centre as the services provided by the centre is best services we received from any eye centre. Hospital is very neat and clean follows all the covid protocal. Staff is well educated and very supportive. Doctor Monika highly educated and polite spoken

Good experience. Entertained everyone professionally. From time to time offer promotional activities. By chance I always benefitted by these promotional charges. I paid Rs. 50/- for the first time and 2nd time it was totally free eye checkup. Overall experience is very good. Staff and doctors are courteous. I also came across Sh. Harjeet Singh, Sh. Roshan and Sh. Anuj. All were very cooperative. I recommend this place for treatment.

My Mum's cataract surgery went wonderfully well thanks to Dr. Kiran Kirtani, an amazing doctor and an even more amazing human being. She calmed down my overly nervous mother with an ease that must be appreciated.
