The food and the name does not need any validation by me. Went there as had always heard about it but never experienced it. Went on a cold Saturday morning at 9.45am and still had to wait for 25min due to bulk orders by the crowd. Met a very pleasant couple while waiting in the queue and the lady was an actress in Mumbai (good luck to her and her husband). Some ppl in the crowd were typical brash Delhi folks. Finally, the food made up for everything. Very limited menu, very fast service, limited standing space to eat. The experience was killer on a cold winter morning (could be frustrating in summer). They also have options to drink which are pretty decent. Also, you can get their much wanted masala which is pocket friendly just like their food.
There are very few places in South Delhi that can compete with the famous chole bhature of Paharganj, or even the best in West Delhi, Rohini, and other areas. However, Anandji is a delicious exception. The chole bhature they serve is exceptional and rivals the fare at iconic outlets like Sitaram Diwan Chand, Rasheshyam Subashkumar, and the much-revered Chache Di Hatti in Kamla Nagar. The snacks they serve in the evenings are also lip-smacking. However, there are much better places in Delhi for Rajma Chawal, etc. On the downside, the staff could be a bit more hospitable.
Highly overhyped place.don't expect an extraordinary taste after seeing a long queue. Simple chole not masaledar.even no paneer or any other stuffing in bhatura also. Cost 75/- per plate. There are many good places for chole bhature in Delhi.
Chhole bhature tastes good, but there is no sitting arrangements nor standing tables you have to find a place where you can eat or you can eat in your vehicle. Otherwise taste good and you have to stand in queue and wait for your number.
Good place to buy a different tasteful Chole bhature specialised in Rawalpindi Chole & bhature, delivery & take away are more famous here. Also they do sell masala which is a big hit and amazing.
Better than average chole bhature. Bhature are stuffed with potatoes. 70 rs per plate. But what makes great food awesome is the ambience. It lacks the proper sitting place. You have to eat standing in a narrow lane.
You might find it difficult to find parking for your car near the shop and might have to walk a bit to reach here.
The food is awesome, especially the Chole. The queue outside the place itself speaks of the popularity. The price is also reasonable. So I guess it's a great place to have your next Chole Bhature.
Amazing taste, no servings due to COVID protocol, only take aways. If you still want to relish over there in your own vehicle, at least carry some plates, spoons with you.
I have been to this place n number of times now and somehow these days the quality isnt the same as it used to be. Last i visited was in December last year. I would recommend going there early morning around 9 9.30 as the queue increases rapidly here. I would avoid during these covid times as there is a rush here and people dont necessarily follow the covid protocols. Coming to the food, the chole had a lot of salty taste in it. May be for that day it might have happened but it was no where near the same as i had during my college days. Bhature were soft and fluffy.overall 3/5.i know some better outlets now so might skip this one next time.
I have been in love with chache di hatti chole bhature, since i was in my college days, its serving the same quality, with same shop. Aloo bhatura is their speciality. Just love them. Nowdays they are serving with takeaway at 70/- pp.
Very Very overrated. Took one plate aalo and one plate normal bhature, they were not tasty. I waited for arounf 40 mins in queue, the chole bhature were less than ordinary. Also, the staff was not wearing masks and social distancing was only for namesake. If you plan to go kindly go early as they donot have enough material to feed much people.
AWESOME & MOUTH WATERING FOOD. SAME TASTE SINCE YEARS. VERY ECONOMICAL AND FULFILLING TREAT FOR YOUR TUMMY. VERY ORGANIZED QUEUE SYSTEM AND VERY CLEAN.
A must try place they prepare fresh bhatura's and awesome chole. An old and famous place in delhi for chole bhature mainly popular amongst the students of Delhi University, but loved by all. The quality of chole bhature prepared here is just awesome. They provide enough chole for just 2 bhatura's that u can have an extra bhatura and will be still left with some chole. The pickle is also good. They also provide chole masala which can make delicious chole at home. But 1 star less for following issues -Parking problems -No seating -Only open till 2pm -Long queues around 12 noon (might have to stand in line for around 45mins to get ur order placed)
Quality of cholle bhature has downgraded over the years at Chache di Hatti though it still attracts hoards of visitors waiting in line for their Rawalpindi style cholle bhature.
The stuff is amazing but no place to sit. The best part is his Chole masala available at 80 rupees a packet of 250 grams. Must visit Kamla Nagar to this legendary place. I have there for over 50 years. Best Choley Bhature in India.
