I personally liked the dosa, it was fresh and crisp, chutneys were fine too but didnt like the sambhar at all.

We were a group of 5 people and ordered different dishes, the service was slow and we ordered extra daal, which didnt get served even at the end of our meals. Looks like they forget to serve it.

North indian thali has enough portion to serve one and tastes amazing.

Butter milk and lassi was awesome, i will recommend that to all those who want something cool and refreshing during these hot sunny days.

Still the place seems crowded during the lunch hours, so make sure to arrive soon to get a seat.

The food items are delicious. The service is very good and prompt. They don't have a website. The website mentioned in the page pertains to Sravana Bahawan Chain of Hotels hailing from Karnataka, whereas the persons running this hotel hail from Chennai.

Ambience is good. I ordered only South Indian thali @170 rs. Food is average South Indian taste. Service is superfast. Owner and waiters are good in nature. Must visit

I ordered rawa masala dosa. No doubt sambar was good but the dosa was not as per the expectations.

Service was quick and prompt
Hygiene needs to be maintained a bit more.

Its a franchisee of Saravana Bhavnan Chennai, and taste of food is little improvement is required, price are too high this place.

Don’t get confused between Hotel SARAVANA Bhawan and this. Although the place is good and basic hygienic. Dosa tasted good. Value for money.

Great experience. We got two dishes which sum up North and South Indian fare. Spent 500 Rupees with drinks.

The food is good, the taste of food is average.the charges are bit High as compared to food quantity and quality. But when you are hungry this Hotel I'd good.

Hot fresh food and warm polite behaviour of staff makes this place a must visit for number of delicacies from rasam idli, masala idli, paper plain dosa, lemon rice, curd rice and filter coffee
Clean place, fast service, wonderful behaviour of people there and reasonably priced.all criteria too good to believe but i experienced same and hence described the same.
Post 11: 40 pm the waiting time is huge so plan accordingly

Excellent South Indian food. The best I've had in a long while! The idli was divine, the dosa was awesome, and the Vada was the freshest I've had ever!

It's a place with good and reasonable food. Be it South Indian or Chinese it's all good.

We ordered rava dosa and it was the first time i had it but i didnt like it so it might my own preference but other than that the place was really nice, the staff was really nice and respectful.

Food was nice but the dosa we ordered was mysore masala dosa and it was damnn too spicy we couldn't eat the dosa as it was so spicy.we only had the stuffing in the dosa and sambar. Also the hot badam milk we ordered was nicee. But not outstanding overalll it was nice.but the staffs behaviour was really nicee.ambience was okish just like any other saravana bhawan. Overall the experience was nice.not good not bad.

They are not the original sarvana bahwan of cp, but the owner is a relative of the original one.
The food quality to hygiene to customer service, all are top notch.
All of the stwered have been very nice during all my visits and would even sometimes go out of there way to assure that we get the best experience possible by sometimes recommending and manytimes making sure that each table is engaged and well served even in peak hours.
And the best part about this place, are the prices.
It's so affordable we order two dosa and one lemon soda, but they haven't served the soda without the seeds of lemon apart from that food is good

I had never seen a waiter with such a bad attitude & behaviour, food might be good but with such a behaviour you can't have it. If the owner of the restaurant sees my review kindly take some necessary action. I visited you restaurant on 27th June 2022 at around & on 28th June 2022 at around 12.20 pm
Both time the same waiter disappointed me with his behaviour and attitude, i also complained to your manager.

First of all this is not a saravana bhavan which is at cannought place. No taste completely waste of money

This is not the real cannaught place wala saravana bhawan. Sambar wasn't nice.it lacked the tang

Food quality just okay. To improve. Located in main market area. Need some development means tissue paper on the table, after billing mouth fresher, etc. If you asking they are giving.

Dined at this south indian restaurant last month. Enjoyed the most authentic South Indian food there. Great service and delicious Indian food.

Reasonable food at slightly higher spectrum of affordability. AC restaurant with sharing seats. Waiters are just okay and not very responsive. Location is good, extra sambhar and chutney are not charged. Walkable distance from Karol Bagh metro.
We asked for dal Vada but they served normal Vada due to non availability of dal Vada which is fine but they did not take permission from us for the same.

They don't have all items which the have mentioned in their menu. U will only get dosa and idli. Rest they they don't have. Also they don't have filter coffee. Staff behaviour is also not good. I visited them 2 times but they don't have much to sell. I don't like.

The kind of service that I saw was pathetic. Waiter at this place accidentally dropped the glass near water cooler and he served water to some other customer in the very same glass that he had dropped. I wonder the spoon which I used for my ordered food was dropped one or fresh. Also, it's not a go to place for someone who doesn't eat onion or food served without onion.

All the food is very tasty. We have been eating in this cafe for a week. This is the best place in this area, for sure

Place is good with delicacies almost matching original sarvana. Quick service and good quality is their forte

The newly opened next to Punjab Sweet is new food joint and the taste is same.

Mind you this is not the original one. It is owned by family member of hotel Sarvana bhawan.

The taste is similar to original.

A nice place for authentic South Indian cuisine. Chennai Saravana Bhavan restaurant in Karol Bag serves pure vegetarian South Indian food with other food items as per menu. Restaurant runs by staff, cooks & service waiters from south India. During my recent visit to Karol Bagh tried masala Dosa & Idly. Test & quality both are good.
