Chittaranjan Park Kali Mandir Society

I visited CR Park Kali Bari on Navami Day at 6 AM in the morning. Serene environment, absolutely pin drop silence and such a mesmerizing view of Goddesses Durga.

A religious place for Bengali people. Have ample space. Quite prominent for people from Bengali region in Delhi.

The temple complex is a calm, serene oasis. On a height and surrounded by greenery, it's a wonderful place to come, to clear your head, to have a quiet time or even just for a walk. It also has a library.
If you are lucky, you can chance upon the most beautiful rendition of Rabindra Sangeet by the neighborhood women.
The exterior is embellished with terracotta work and will remind you of temples of Bengal.

Kali mandir is beautiful and divine place. Very neatly maintained. You feel blessed and peaceful.

Spiritual place. The place has got three markets where u can purchase sondesh (sweet), fresh water fish, palm sugar and other groceries.

Chitt araman Park is a residential colony adjacent to the Business District of Nehru Place. The famous Kali Mandir is located here. The temple is a huge attraction amongst the locals and people from all over Delhi. During Durga Puja thousands of visitors throng the temple and the pandals are superb. There is a beautiful Dharamshala adjacent to the Mandir where out station pilgrims and tourists can stay overnight.

Make sure you ask people in case you get confused. The pooja method is a little different than other temples.

A well decorated temple complex in the heart of South Delhi at Chittaranjan Park. I liked very much the terracotta murals in the temples.
It is located very near to Greater Kailash Metro Station. You can walk down or take a e-rickshaw from the metro station to reach there.

Kali bari is situated near raisina Bengali school chittranjan park famous for its structure. Gardening is good. Its a building which is one of its kind in the city.

I visited here last year for durga pooja with my wife and her friends. The decorations were quite delightful. There were lots of food stalls. It was a great experience for me.

I like the Durga puja conducted by the society. So many beautiful crowd, devotees. You should visit the place during Durga puja and must watch Dhunuchi Nachna and Sindur Khela.

The present condition of dharmashala is terrible.bedsheets are dirty, blankets are horrible with foul smell.not recommended at all.

The temple is serene, peaceful and a very calm place. It is the main hub for all the cultural and religious events in the Bengali community of vasant vihar and Shankar vihar.
You can meditate on the lawns and get darshan of maa kali in the morning and evening aarti.
Pokemon players can indulge in gym battles and catch a few pocket monsters too.

Rooms are affordable, but not clean, almirah r broken, support staff not cooperative, bathroom lacks geyser, and proper hygine, needs thorough maintenance.
