Chocolateria San Churro

The best hot chocolate ever! Have tried hot chocolate from a million places across the globe but this one hands down is the King of hot chocolates. Perfectly fried churros and grilled sandwiches. Must visit!

This cafe is awesome to spend quality time on. Also the food items are very tasty especially their Spanish Hot chocolate. We ordered Spanish Hot chocolate, 3 churros with hot chocolte sauces, hakka noodles and grilled sandwiches which were delicious in taste.

Worst experience

I'm such a big big fan of sweets specifically churros. I went all the way long to Delhi from Haryana to try San churros. I purchased a churro fondue worth rs 600 and it was not even worth 100 rs. The churros were dry from inside and we're not chewable. I asked the staff to replace the churros but the ones he bought after replacement were same as the first ones. Tight and dry. Churros are meant to be crispy from outside and soft from inside but San churros were hard inside out.

I won't recommend you guys to waste rs 600 on such churros.

Tried the mint hot chocolate which is amazing. Paneer tikki burger was amazing too but noodles were ok.

Great hot chocolate and nice ambience. Only complaint is they discontinued the Azteca hot chocolate, though it was still listed on the menu board.

You can't finish the hot chocolate alone. It's so thick! But damn tasty. Great for winters.

Fantastic Ambience. Different chocolaty vibe. Good menu for sweet dishes to try and they also serve various varieties of snacks and main course.

This place has lost its charm now. Used to be a good cafe earlier. This time I ordered a soup, pasta, cheese bites and pizza. There was a hair in the soup, so got it replaced. In the second time, there was hell lot of black pepper in it. The pasta was uncooked and cheese bites were pathetic. I cancelled the pizza and left without eating anything.

We had the worst experience today when we caught the staff using fingers instead of using ice tongs/shovel, to put ice cubes into our ice tea glass and then taking out extra extra ice cubes. This is unhygienic and unprofessional as the same glass was served to us.

Had lot of expectations for such a big and good looking outlet, but was disappointed at the end. Not complaining about the food as such but I didn't get anything that can't be made at home very easily. The churros were good, but it's very easy to make at home. The menu said two chocolate pots, but we were only served to small bowls. One was just simple chocolate syrup, the other was a normal melted dairy milk chocolate. This is what killer the hype for me. They even put a glass water bottle in front of you enticingly. But that 660 ml costs ₹150 (as of now. When I saw the menu in Google few days back, 'churros poco' was ₹175 and 'churros medio' was ₹300. When I went into the outlet myself, 'churros poco' was ₹249 and 'churros medio' was ₹350)

Tried just their classic chocolate and it's worth the hype. Quite thick so better for two people. Wanted it just a little less sweeter.

Waited 50 mins to get food and still did not get it when i was told that it will take 15 mins.
At the end i had to leave without food as the manager told me he thought he’ll be able to arrange the food and was not able to

Only their name is fancy. It’s a fake chocolaterie. Save yourself time and money. In short, the place serves bad food and has worst service.

Extremely disappointing place. Google rating for this place is really misleading, hence I decided to write this review. I had ordered an ice cream sundae and a plate of churros. I had gone with high expectations considering their menu prices and their location in a posh market. I would not recommend this place to anyone who likes food and especially chocolate which is apparently their USP.

Ice cream served in sundae was the worst. I can’t describe how bad it was, probably the worst I have had so far. Churros were undercooked, the quality of chocolate served with it was poor (one could taste crystallised sugar in it).

The service was also as bad as their food. Waiting time was on the higher side even during non-rush hours. I had to ask for drinking water thrice before I got some after waiting for 30 mins that too in unclean glasses.

I ended up leaving after finishing only half of my food. I did give my feedback about bad food quality at the billing counter. The person noted down my number and promised to follow up with me on this. As expected, that follow up never happened.

The churros are just brilliant and super fat delivery with hot tasty churros with different varieties of dips.

This is the no 1 place in delhi which serves delicious hot chocolate.
My favourite one is classic spanish and mint. Other fold items are also good.
White sauce pasta is also great

Visited there in Dec'20 with 2 of my friends during evening. In normal times this place would have been a bit more happening but due to covid-19 we were the only ones sitting on their upper floor & the vibe was very gloomy.
We ordered hot chocolate, white chocolate & veg quesadillas. The food was decent, service was quick.
My rating is based more on the dull ambience i experienced on that particular visit than on the food.
I would love to revisit this place post covid & hope to update my review with a more positive one. #toughtimes #corona #staystrong.
