Nice Institute/Club for officers to enjoy with friends and family over lunch and dinner. Very spacious. Entry restricted for members and their accompanying families and friends. It is basically the extended facility of CSOI on kasturba Gandhi Marg, which was smaller in size comparatively. Quality of food be it veg and non veg is guaranteed. Bar lounge is also there. Has many party halls which can be booked for various occasions, be it marriage, bday parties, meetings etc. Detailed info. Can be had from CSOI website. Spacious parking inside and outside.
Nice, neat and tidy place. However staff and the reception needs to be more professional. Telephone connectivity also needs improvement. Overall, however, a place worth visiting.
I have a lot of memories associated with this place since childhood. It has been a few years now that MOETS took over the kitchen at their in-house restaurant - CONCLAVE. Pros: clean, hygienic, prompt service, and reasonable prices. Nice drinks Cons: Main course items are a disappointment. Kadhai chicken and Mutton seekh kebab were not up to the mark. Yellow dal was salty. Repeat serving was also not quite right. Staff was open to feedback, which is good. Overall I was a bit disappointed coz my memories of this place are so good, and they're all associated with the awesome food and dining experience I've had growing up in Delhi!
We visit regularly as my husband is a civil servant but of late I have been really disappointed with the decline of the food quality of the Cafe both at the Vinay Marg and Kasturba Gandhi Marg. The quality of the carrot cake which I loved so much has gone down like anything. Most of the things are not available. And most of the time the cafe (especially the Vinay marg one) is understaffed. The restaurant however has decent food. I was also disappointed with the Javed Habib Salon's hair cut. Another disappointing fact is that the gym is open for dependents only between 8: 30 am- 9: 30 am and 5-6 pm. Now I might be a dependent when it comes to CSOI but being a working woman that time is really not suitable. It's unfair to assume that dependents always stay at home. Having said that it is a nice place to hang out with friends.
Good and cool place for relaxing and drinking hard drinks as well as soft drinks. Good variety of snacks. Calm place. Decent and dignified visitors. Good buffet as well as ala Carte menu. Little off the main road so no hustle bustle. Soothing experience
This location and the architecture is grand. The food and the service at the Pavillion was great as was the sun bathing subsequently over some tea. I occasionally used to come here to see a movie, of which they had an excellent collection. Hopefully, that may start now. Overall, a lovely Saturday afternoon!
Beautifully decorated and well maintained. Much higher than expectations. We were here for the annual Music and Dance Cultural event. They have an in house salon and bakery as well.thr swimming pool was not operational perhaps because of covid-19 restrictions.
Ok for casual visit. Party room not good at Vinay marg, Dining restaurants not comparable to a star hotel, quantity of dish served just sufficient for one person, no exit signs for driving back to Vinay Marg. Not recommended for a special treat to a special guest
This is Members' and their family/guests only place, not open to public. Place to organise and celebrate social interaction, wine-dine, health, recreation, rest and recuperate. Nice location, ample parking, neat-clean, friendly but with strict time schedules. Full services including Restaurants and Bar starts about 12 noon onwards. However, tea/coffee lounge, library opens around 11: 00 am onwards. At its members only auditorium, popular Bollywood/English movies at weekends, Hindi/English plays and other common good/social cause/awareness activities are arranged free of charge. Party halls, pool side lawn and lobbies are available for appropriate personal, social and cultural events.
Club for officers of Govt of India, who are members. Construction not more than 10 years old. Majestic looking building, white colored. Good eating joints and bar. Movie theatre, swimming pool, Gym facilities. Party halls and outdoor venue available for various functions. Non-members can be guests of Members to avail all facilities.
It's a great place located in well security and clean area I don't know if know person is allowed to book this for their events I had also visited here in few exhibition's still don't why they call it civil services officer institute it doesn't look like institute it's a more like a vintage style hotel with modern touches but it's pretty awesome.
Now Moets provides the catering and food quality has improved a lot. The bakery items have become a bit expensive though compared to India International Center.
I had ordered takeaway kungpao chicken at the ground floor restaurant today and brought home. When I sat down to eat at home I found a cockroach in the food. Apparently the new caterer is not hygienic and needs to be pulled up
Good ambience. Nice, cosy rooms to lodge. Different sections to hold various meetings, gatherings or parties simultaneously, at the same time, without interfering with each other. Efficient staff.
It's my own club. Food is stll ok, but the service is deteriorating day by day. If you are able to catch the waiter's eye, he will simply dump your order in the corner of the table and rush back. A good waiter will.make space on the table and then place the stuff you ordered. Recently the Moets has taken over its catering. I am looking forward to consistently good food by them.
It's called an Institute but actually a Club. Building is an example of Victorian Architecture, in keeping with the theme of Lutyen's Delhi. This is the place where the Babus, who rule India, come and unwind. The atmosphere is quite hushed. Furtive and suspicious glances would confront any unknown face or a non Babu looking persona. Babus love their privacy and don't want the world to invade into their space.
Centrally situated at Chanakyapuri. It has most of the facilities that are expected in a club. This place is for members & their guests only. Adequate parking is available in the basement as well as on surface. Buffet by Moets is not worth it despite being price friendly.
This is a big complex having many party options like small and big rooms. A terrace. They also have their own restaurant and bar. Multi cuisine catering is offered by them in shape of various packages. Enough out door and basement indoor parking available. They also have their own backery and selling counter. Bering a Government place its pricing is moderate, however service here is good and efficient.
This place is like dream it have very beautiful rooms the canteen is very cheep but staff is a bit harsh. They have a proper hygiene and very tasty food loved the place but to access this place you must have a IAS in your family. Otherwise the charge rs 500 as visitors pass per day.
Nice place, renovated recently, have a coffee shop, restaurant, banquet hall and rooms. Entry for members only and guests of the members. Priced moderately. Food could have been better specially Pizzas, Burger, Thukpa. Have cleaned toilets. Best is the dome and the artifacts in the lobby area.
Being a member I guess I may be a little biased, but I really like the architecture and the beauty of the place and its location in tranquil and verdant surroundings. Lately, the food too.
