Nice place for lunch when at Hauz Khas Village. Kerala dishes recommended. I tried taco, appam, stew, chicken and fish.

Very less options for non veg people. When asked to remove service tax, they abruptly said "HC ka judgement aya hai" when we asked whi h judgement, they had no answer. Got the service charge removed though

This place is perfect to satisfy all your seafood cravings. As soon as you enter the cafe, the smell of fish and prawns transports you to the coasts of Kerala. It looks amazing in natural light, especially with all its greenery. I had their prawn moilee, and it almost brought me to tears. It paired very well with their perfectly made parotta. I also got the chicken pepper fry, but it was pretty disappointing. The chicken was really dry, so much so that I couldn’t even finish it. It’s the only reason i have docked a star from the rating. I will definitely be visiting them again.

Major turn off was that they said their alcohol licence has expired and they havent renewed it.

They are good but they put service tax more tha get tax I don't know why this is bad and not fair

And guys plus they don't add ice cream and shakes in food bill so they will don't give any discount on that bill so plzz be aware and about service tax also

The food is good but the waiters put the air conditioning at 16°C so I was frozen during the meal. At the end, what a surprise! He charged us for the bottle of water on the table and included 10% service charge. We did it at the end of the trip and across the whole country they are the only ones to have this kind of practice. When I told him about the bottle he told me that I only had to ask if it was paid or free! But he never told us that it was chargeable and once again in India in 90% of the restaurants they offer the bottle. The remaining 10%? There is none on the table. Ditto for the 10% service charge added to the bill: it is customary to leave this amount as a tip and we have always done so, even up to 20%. But here the restaurant imposed it! So we left nothing. Disappointed with the service because the food is good. Beware of scams!

Perfect place to catch up with old friends we got ice tea and shaken cold coffee both tastes amazing. Ambience and atmosphere were perfect

We had our first meal in India at this restaurant and it certainly has set a high bar for the rest of the trip. The food is so tasty and there was plenty of it too with generous portion sizes. It isn't particularly cheap compared to other Indian restaurants but the quality of food was exceptional and lovely service too!

Good food (especially if you like fish and kerela cuisine). One gets place even in rush hours. Doesnt have the view of HK Social. However highly recommended.

Not many options and available food is ok. A food van can give you more options and much better taste.

Coast Cafe was a discovery that happened by chance as a friend of mine and I found another restaurant closed. This first time experience was superb with a brilliantly flavourful Malabari stew along with Appam and Pepper fry chicken as well as refreshing Lemon Iced Tea.
After a sumptous and extremely satisfying luncheon we decided to try out the smoky tea which was like a single malt and different.definitely goimg to go back to try out their other dishes which includes a range of Coastal Seafood selection.

Surjan Singh dosent have basic common sense. He was yawning opening his mouth looking at guests. Stares at guests in an inappropriate way. Some foreigners came to the restaurant, he had absolutely the most upleasent face ever.no smile.nothing.keeping his hand on his waist while speaking to the foreighner guest. No smile, no namaskar while they were leaving the restaurant. He is an absolute misfit for hospitality industry.

The place is freezing, with quite unmotivated servers watching you eat from their receptionist table. A bit uncomfortable. Interior design is nice and the malabar parathas tasty. For vegetarians, choices are super limited. And the food is either very bland or impossibly spicy. I visited twice but honestly can't recommend it.

Very odd response mentioned in swiggy chicken kuthu paratha but received dry parantha and chicken mixed and i called them to ask that 1 person can have or jot the guy telling this is a starter and not enough for one if not wnough why u people charging 460 rupees for 1 person. Pathetic person

This is the only decent place to go in Hauz Khas. It is a small cafe spread over two floors above Ogaan. It has pleasant and calm vibes.

I went with my husband and it had been on our list for a very long time. We were very happy with the food. We started with the second quinoa salad. It was a simple salad with no dressing as such. There could have been more brocolli though. We ordered the veg stew with appam and Malabar parantha. The stew and parantha were too good. Appam could have been better. The Malabar parantha was perfect - thin and flaky.

The buckwheat Nutella pancake was the silver lining with the perfect amount of Nutella topped with a lot of hazelnuts.

We absolutely loved our dinner at Coast Cafe.

They have out of stock alcohol and little to none veg option. Price is reasonable but most of the menu items are unavailable. Bad.

First real Mexican food that I’ve eat in India! The chicken tacos are amazing. Tacos are really Baja Style and the churros are superb. The service and the environment are outstanding, specially considering Delhi random standards.

One of the best places to eat at Hauz khas, consistent well thought out menu and a very prompt staff.
Sundal, their quinoa salads, juices are always a delight. Have tried almost every dish on the menu.
The place needs to invest in the maintenance which is long overdue.
Highly recommended.

As it is famous for customised kerela food, sea food and curries One must try stew with Appams (best served). Drinks were also satisfied (must try ice tea). Coffee was little watery so take it at your own risk.
It also has nice ambience for healthy conversation with light music.

It is located below imperfecto. You can use elevator for that.

At the entrance of Hauz Khas, you will encounter this cozy cafe. Great ambiance, overlooking greenery on one side. I had a few mock-tails and they were great.

Amaaazing Experience. The ambience of the cafe was so damn good. And food was yum. Main chef Sayuj suggested an amazing dessert, which I can't forget. I don't remember the name exactly. A cinnamol roll (kind of) with chocolate dip. Oh my God. Next time, when I visit Delhi, Coast Cafe is my sure shot spot.

Good food. However, our experience went for a toss when the server presented the bill. We paid through EazyDiner. The server said they don't accept app payments. We asked them why they have made the option available then. That's when the manager got involved, and was just downright rude. Instead of simply saying it's an oversight, he started treating us like people who didn't want to pay, when in fact we had already settled the whole amount. Created unnecessary ruckus, we paid cash over and above the amount paid on app and left. Later, we took it up with EazyDiner, who just apologized and issued a refund. The manager could have achieved the same result if he had approached the issue with respect.

One of my favourite places in Hauz Khas Village; I love the menu and the ambience of the place. It is highly recommended.

Lovely place. Very courteous staff. We had prawns, chicken, fried kalamari, fried fish. All of them were very tasty.

Hands down, one of my favourite places in Delhi to go. I've not had such rich flavours anywhere else. If you're a fan of coastal cuisine, please make it a point to visit Coast Cafe atleast once.

For my vegetarian fellows, you can try the Malabari kokum curry with Appam or Aubergine kokum curry with Parotta. My personal favourite are the grilled veggie tacos. They're simple yet full of flavour.

The place has such a soothing, quiet and cosy feel to it. A great place to have some quality time with friends.
We tried the hot chocolate and tiramisu cake.

Mindboggling cafe in HKV. If you are a foodie and fish lover then this is your place. Their MALABAR FISH CURRY should be on everyone's list and their THIRAMISSU is out of world

"Over-hyped" what I felt this restaurant is. Food was not that extraordinary. It was pretty much okayish. But the thing, that bothered me the most was the behavior of the staff. Not decent enough.
You guys obviously can't expect a customer to get a 5star rated experience unless and until you appoint staff, who are well mannered and well behaved.

Loved the wide ranged menu & THE place to take your family & friends to celebrate any occasion. The environment is cosy & comfortable. You can talk with yours guests which I find rare as all cafes usually drown our voices with loud music but not here:)
Although I was slightly dissapointed that they weren't serving alcohol so you may wanna call and check in advance about that but apart from that (•ᴗ•)

Had prawns moilee, malabar fish curry, sukha mutton fry and malabar paratha followed by red rice. Would definitely recommend these dishes

Situated on the 2nd & 3 rd floor of a building right upon entering the Hauz Khas Village, this restaurant is accessible by its own dedicated elevator.
Design is very basic more Mediterranean than Malabar to me.
Staff was very helpful and recommended some of the dishes. Couldn't get alcohol as their alcohol license has expired or so they say.
Food was good but the Mediterranean cutlery also dampened my spirits.
They had sneakily added in the Service charge so I didn't bother paying a tip.
Not worth going there just for the food, if you're in the area then this is a nice and less crowded place otherwise plenty of better options nearby.

Very nice place. I find this less noisy, calner side of HKV much more appealing.

Do try their Malabar Curry and Kerala Parota, perhaps the best that you will find in whole of NCR.

The best part about any service is it's consistency. And Coast cafe has full marks for that. Delicious food coupled with fantastic service. I never had to call out to a server, they were so attentive. A mere look would get someone rushing to the table. Plus service was fast. In less than an hour we had dined and were out of the place. Amazing response. Rest ambience is very nice, day dining specially in winters is awesome. Night was comfortable too. Another good thing is no loud music. It's rare to find places where one can sit and enjoy conversation. We tried the Mutton gravy, fish moilee and Malabar, veg moilee with appams, parantha and red rice. Finished off with mind blowing Tiramisu and a delicious kulfi. Awesomeness.

Simple yet such elegant decor.the choice of food provides a detox from all the foods that all cafes usually offer. Do visit for a Quiet serene experience.

Nice nice little cafe where I enjoyed some delectable cuisine from the state of Kerela.
The beans toran, the red rice, the aapamas, the coast cafe vegetable moilee, superpowers pink ginger lemonade were all well prepared. A must try.

The service was efficient and yes the staff was professional. But nearly all of the young men had a glum disposition and dead pan countenance. Service with a smile would be hugely appreciated.

Will be going back for the laid back feel of the cafe and its lovely cuisine and hopefully the staff will be more welcoming and friendly.

The food is just amazing here. Ambience is very peaceful. Malabar fish curry is unbelievable. Even tacos. Tasted as good as tacos in SW US. Didn't think that was possible in India.

The food is really delicious, but the service and the state of their plates leaves a lot to be desired. I really don't like paying extra money for condescending restaurant staff who act as if they're doing you a favour serving you.

That's how Coast Cafe is all about, you are silently welcome by Harish at 2nd floor who is not very expressive but when you will pull him for discussion he will tell you what's best to eat, when i said fish he suggested malabari fish and malabari paratha along with pink ginger drink along with green mint. Drinks were ok and can be improved but main course was awesome

I specially called Cyril their head chef and praised the quality of malabari fish he made for us, it was awesome, it was also serve with chutney of beetroot, tomato & gates and imli, beet root was the best one

Coming to ambience it's on 2nd and 3rd floor around sitting space of 80-90 people, couple of outdoor sitting for smokers, lots and lots of green plants around, they had given lift for elderlies and when I was there 70% was filled with international foodie, this has been around 5 year and my bad luck that I came today

Sub standard food, worst service and steep prices for the quality and quantity they offer. They are just misusing their brand name and people visit it cause of Ohaan “it “ factor.i have yet to see such careless staff and the worst manager who callously laughed off our complaining.

Crowd is pretty decent, mostly international tourist love this place.
There are two floors for seating area, and there is enough space.
Food is pretty nice, but a bit expensive.
A nice place to hang out and chill after/before visiting Deer Park and Hauz Khas village.

The Cafe (Deli actually) is a Beautiful Place tucked into one of the bylanes of Kauz Khas. The management is not terribly efficient and the service is borderline poor. They take very long to allot tables, even when the place is mostly empty.
Food is decent, certainly not extra ordinary, and also not terribly bad either. Somewhere in between. The place is not worth its prices. Maybe a 30-40% price correction would suit the place well. Desserts are almost there, not really quite there. Beautiful place, with an interesting menu, let down by the taste of the food and slightly disoriented staff.
