This place is no more for civilians. Running track is now being used for school functions just to mint money. For members and non members there is now no specific timings. If there is a school function going on they will ask you to go back. Once this place was my favorite but their priorities have now changed!
It is a sport complex for variety of games. Athletic sdaium having synthetic track with football ground in middle of running track. Well managed for national competition, but far away from residenceal locations.
CWG Sports Complex is a fantastic facility for runners and badminton players. The complex offers top-notch amenities and well-maintained tracks and courts. However, it lacks a canteen, which is a minor inconvenience. Overall, it's a great place for sports activities.
This is a very good by product of common wealth games held in Delhi. It has numerous World class training facilities for athletes, but maintenance definitely can be better.
If you're not a member then 60 rs entry ticket for track and badminton courts. To book a court price is 142Rs.courts are all wooden.track is well maintained.tt table and pool tables are also there
A very good football ground is available here. Drinking water is available here Separate washroom is also available for ladies and gents.washrooms are very clean and tidy. Ground condition could have been better. Rest all is very good. Can pay and conduct tournament or matches here.
Fabulous track but the Election commission has taken to keep EVM's and it's closed from two months. I've been waiting for track practice. I visited today.it's still closed. I was very disappointed

Athelete ground and cricket groud are the best one. Opens all day. Before going call them because sometimes they book their ground for special events. You will not be permitted to go. Their membership program is best thing, if u can get never lost this chance.
Gud facilities for a lot of games a bit of expensive than other stadiums in delhi but worth it. Marathons or other sports events can also be organised at corporate level.
If you ask me that where I wish to expand my free time, then obviously I tell about this place. It is full of nature, you can see many trees and vacant roads. I can mention that you can see both urban and rural in the same place. You can also see farming field over here with buildings. Families expand their qualities time here, as you already know it is sports complex, then you can also play indoor or outdoor games here Overall, I can say it is best place for nature and peace lover
Available facilities - Badminton, Table Tennis, Swimming (not through the year), Gym with amazing equipments, amazing track and football field and a cricket ground. These are the available facilities as on 26th March. Phase 2 has squash court, basketball, skating ring, Tennis court and some more. But we have been hearing about this for more than 3 years. But seems there hasn't been any start of work for phase 2 yet. It's an amazing complex, an asset to East Delhi. Can be managed better as the size of the property is humongous.
One of the best place I have visited till date to play sports. There are different kinds of sports which can be played here. It was really a blessing in disguise once the Commonwealth Games were held here. One can also become a member at very nominal prices.
It charges like u are a richest person on earth and also swimming pool is only deep as 4.5 feet, Actually they need minimum 6feet deep swimming pool so that fear of water should be removed.
Best place in East Delhi for your morning health regime. They have badminton, TT, Running track, swimming, Aerobics, Gym.
I personally like CWG village better than Yumuna sports complex. It's more organised though Yamnu is bigger and have more games however I still like this better.
A world famous games spot in Delhi namely Collon Wealth Games Village near to Akshamdham Temple.
XIX th 2010 Commonwealth Games were held in this complex. This place have all world class infrastructures alongwith worldclass facilities to the players.
It is a good place to visit. I went to play Table Tennis. Lot of enthusiasm comes once you see well managed property and arrangement to play any sports. I experienced the same.
JMD9 I like this place as a sports person. This place is located near Akshardham temple. This place is made by DELHI GOVT during CWG-2010 for commonwealth players practice area near there staying area commonwealth village. Inside this sports arena you can play many different game and take coaching also like. #badminton, #swimming, #athletic, #Cricket, and you can take memberships also of this place and use daily paid schemes also.
We visited this place for a marathon "Beardothon", and we enjoyed our time. CWG have enough place for all the games, good for practice sessions. We got a medal of Honor to be the part of it.
Perfect for sports activity. The ground is good and the running turf is of international standards. I attended school sports day. Lush green even you can sit in grass being in sync with nature
The 21-acre sports complex boasts of state-of-the-art sports equipment brought for international athletes staying at the village for the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
The complex offers basketball and table tennis courts, cricket ground, a world-class gymnasium and fitness centre, a spacious centre for Yoga and aerobics, sauna and swimming pools. A facility for billiards and snooker is ready and will open shortly. The complex will have a golf driving range, a children's corner and tennis, basketball and volleyball courts.
The complex has a sauna, which only DDA's Vasant Kunj sport complex currently boasts of. The sauna will be opened only if a substantial number of users show interest because of the cost involved.
The sports complex at the CWG Village was expected to be opened for the public after the Games in October 2010. However, delayed work on the renovation of the facilities, preparing of the cricket pitch, fencing work, etc, meant that it could be only opened partially, two years after the sporting event
