Not only they refuse but are quite rude
No politeness
And some attitude

If you really have a good taste for chinese, japanese flavours then you are going to love the food served here, been here twice for lunch now, and both the times the food was yum and tasty, the flavours just make you happy. The service is also good and food was so fresh and good. The price is bit on a higher side, but the tasty food overpowers it.

Some one told me this restaurant is a first Chinese restaurant in Delhi. Prawn curry is awesome specially size of prawns, chicken dish also good.

Rude staff, rude manager. A dish was not right and was told to be taken back. Manager's response was rude and bad. He told us to have to return it as soon as it came. Which was 10 mins. Back. Only on tasting we got to know about the chewy bad taste. Had to give a dose of hearing to the manager, told him take money for dish but don't talk rudely back.anyone plz Never go there.

The food was undercooked. Diatchi has been our childhood favorite. Unfortunately we visited after many years and we told them that the food is undercooked. The manager said that they would not serve us food. It was very humiliating as you could serve raw chicken, but if it's pointed out, then the manager shows you the door. I'm totally disappointed!

Landed up here reading the good reviews and here I am, adding another good one. Had a great meal here. I ordered soup and momos. Both were amazing, but I have to give many extra points to the soup. Had a really delicious sweet corn chicken soup after a long while. The quantity as well as the quality was excellent. The staff was very cordial. The ambience is calming, cool, quiet and nice. A good place to be at after shopping your heart out, as it is located in the market itself.

Asian dining restaurant. Bit pricy but it's South Ex. I had fried rice with prawns and chilly chicken with gravy. The prawns were overcooked. I have had better chilly chicken than the one I had here.

We were there a few days ago we had wonton, egg fried rice and bean curd tofu.
Everything was good but egg fried rice needs a little improvement.

Amazing authentic Chinese food. Their pan fried chicken noodles are top notch and a muat try. Thai food is amazing too. It’s located very conveniently and a must visit place for Chinese and Thai food in Delhi

Authentic Chinese restaurant. The food is fresh and we'll prepared, Ordered Pork fried chilly, assorted vegetables in hot garlic sauce and veggie chowmien. The portions are generous, order one dish than you normally would order.

I have been going there since 1995.good food and service.
But atmosphere bad. Still sane old table, cutlery, paint.
Hope thet do some renovations.

Inspite of being told to get less spicy food while ordering, the food received was spicy. Inspite of being told to get a dry dish, it came as a gravy dish.

The best Rib chilly. I've been a customer for over 15 years and I cannot seem to replace them.

The food is not value for money. They will skimp out on the necessary items. The service is bad, the waiters will behave like they're doing you a favour by serving you and towards the end, they expect a high service charge and will add it to the bill without your knowledge or consent.
The food in taste is pretty good but they will not give you a value-for-money portion. The whole restaurant is extremely dimly lit and your requirements for air-conditioning or a heater will be met with sarcastic stares from the servers and managers.

I've been here almost every year, and the quality has falled down from this year. I usually have tom kha Kai soup and Thai green curry

We went few days back for my honey chilli potato craving.ordered 2 dishes honey chilli potato & drums of heaven. The taste was extremely okayish and we end up dissatsfied with taste for 1000 rs bill.least flavour of drums of heaven, though food was eatable but the taste was extremely normal as per south ex standard & brand name.

Rather expensive and the food didn't particularly leave me astonished but the wide range of food was pretty cool, also wish the dining space was a bit bigger.

Always a favourite! Authentic Chinese cuisine since ages and still true to its roots even after so many years. Must try the "Shrimp-on-toast" and the "Chilli Fish".

The food quality has gone down and not at all worth the money. It used be our go to place but very disappointed with last experience

Asian foods are rarely a disappointment - so Daitchi's food stands out that ways. It disappoints. The decor is meh but the food sadly matches it. Nothing exceptional or delicious. Just okay.

Good Chinese old charm resturant good staff and tasty food, Chilli chicken and soups were great had my fill in starter and soups only.

The way, pork chilly made, is just astonishing. The pork hitting your tongue and palate just gives you the best vibes how pork is cooked. The mix chowmein is an amazing dish you can go for. The chowmein with pork is just smooth into your tummy as it's just slow cooked. Also the shrimp isn't to be left out in there. If you are looking for the best Chinese outlets then this is the place for you.

Good clean food, mostly Chinese with some Japanese dishes. Old school restaurant with simple interiors and good service.

Food is always very yum here we are eating here more than 32 years. They never disappointed us specially the manager here is a wonderful guy. Whenever he is present here food is very good. I wish him all the very best in life. Kudos to him

I am extremely disappointed. I have been visiting this restaurant regularly for over 25 years and have always recommended it to friends and family. I have always loved their food and appreciated the fact that unlike the North Indian Chinese offered at other restaurants, their food has a more authentic taste.
This time around we decided to do home delivery. Unfortunately, the food turned out to be the same indifferent taste, served at mediocre establishments all over the city.
I called to complain, to question whether there was a change in chef. But was assured that that was not the case. So I've decided one slip over a 25 year period is excusable. I will definitely be giving them the opportunity to make amends as they have assured me they will.

Rushed all the way from def col. For lunch knowing it closrs at 3.30 pm. Reached ay 3.21. Informed it is closed while there own clock still showed iy wasnt yet time. Disappointed at the decay in service and attitude in this iconic place

My favorites, which I think you should try too - the daitchi bhaway soup, which will fill up your tummy in no time so don't order too much if you're starting off with soup. And secondly, the pork chilli ribs, they're yum.

This place might very well be the best restaurant in Delhi's South Ex if one is looking for Chinese food. If you wanna have Chinese, this is it.

Old time indo Chinese place. Not authentic Chinese (obviously) and the Chinese tea (which I have no idea what is the tea) is given in a steel pot instead of an earthen pot. It's average if you order the standard stuff such as noodles, chilly chicken etc. Otherwise if you can go to humayunpur do that.

Generous portions, enough for 4 people. BE SURE TO HAVE THE 10% SERVICE CHARGE REMOVED FROM THE BILL.

Indian style Chinese food. This does not disappoint, ambiance is average. Service polite and location is good. Plenty of parking. Service is prompt and place is clean.

Great great food. Over the last number of years their taste, quality and portion size has been wow. They have not increased prices like most restaurants have done in Delhi. Thankfully, South Extension 1 parking is now fully functional

An oldie but a goodie, this restaurant has been around forever. You can be assured of the service which is always reliable and the date pancake with ice-cream is to die for

The food is very good, tastes authentic and is reasonably priced however they put service charge at 10% without asking the customers. This is wrong.

Some really authentic Chinese. I would really Suggest you to go for their main course. Chilly chicken and hakka noodles are amazing

Absolutely delightful! Probably one of the best Chinese restaurants in Delhi. Daitchi has something for everyone. There are hot & spicy dishes and also dishes on the sweeter side for kids. Though the dessert options are few, their "date pancake with ice cream" is awesome. Highly recommend this place.

It's one place I have been visiting for the past 27-28 years. Always loved their food. The staff is courteous and warm. Well located.
Chilli Garlic Noodles and Chilli chicken rock. We go there for dinners regularly and all trips are memorable.
