This Place is amazing for nerds or book insects books are available here are much cheaper but they are pirated and that's the they are cheaper but I u only want content then this place is for u and one more thing the image shown is of a shop to go to the market u have to exit from Delhi Gate metro station Gate No. 3 and have to walk around 50-70m and u will see it on the left side of the road

Ya you can get book at price of 50 and some famous book at 100 rupes so not paid more then that. Ya best place if you are novel lover and more important if you love to read book as hard copy because I not like kindle much.

Dead - As in end of life. All good memories of Delhi are getting demolished one by one. Chor Bazar, Pragati Maidan, Sunder Nursery, India Gate lawns, and last but not the least - The Sunday Book Bazaar at Daryaganj.

You can get a wide range of books here. Both new and second hand books. It is a good place for the students who are preparing for entrance exams (almost all), you can find related books of all kinds at a very cheap price.

दिल्ली गेट मेट्रो स्टेशन से निकल कर गेट no 3 से बाहर आ जाए। संडे को फूट-पाथ पर रौनक रहती है। सारे नोवेल्स यहाँ सस्ते भाव मे उपलब्ध है। स्टेशनरी की भी कुछ जबरदस्त दुकाने है तगड़े कलेक्शन के साथ।

The point is: very few vendors due to covid.like 10-20.that is it.
I went there around 12 and within 15 minutes they wrapped up because police won't allow it to function for long. Honestly it was not a good experience.

This place is well known for books those are costly and you can't avoid them as your course or syllabi demands. You can bargain for books here. This place is also known for used book as well as for new books. These days trimming opening and closing of this place is not usual so cross check before going there. Place is clean and tidy. Shopkeepers also good in nature.

Man what a wonderful experience it was I got all the books which I was looking for. And one small suggestion, don't forget to bring a bag.

I miss the old road side market. The relocated market (in Mahila haat), have a few vendors due to covid.
Social distancing was followed.

This is biggest market of old and new books in bulk. This market open everyday but outside shops only on Sunday market.

It was a wonderful experience as you get any kind of books at a much cheaper price. I went there to find some coffee table book and it was a steal. Books worth 3000 were being sold for less than 500 after a little bargaining. Must visit if you need books for any purpose be it exams, readings, or novels.

Pretty pathetic outing! No latest titles available. Only respite is 20% discount compared to other Delhi NCR firstcopy sellers.

I read the reviews and thought the market opens about 9-10 AM on Sundays.

3-4 novel shops are at the metro station gate, there u can find novels per 50rs (I would suggest first u visit those 3-4 shops if u get the books it's well and good if not then visit the Mahila haat (it's an open area so heat will be a issue in afternoon time so bring water and clothes according to that)

The actual market currently (14-03-21) opens at 10: 30 AM on Sundays only (it is in Mahila haat now and they don't sell books on per kg now, price is per books only. So the past reviews are a waste.

You will get educational books for various exams (SSC, BANKING, UPSC, MBBS, NCERT) and many novels are also present.

You can find all types of book here for cheap. Huge market for second hand books but you should expect to see pirated and cheap quality books. You can also bargain for books and bulk order is also possible for books. You can also find university books, competition books, children story books and fiction books.

This is that wonderful place where people get access to almost all the books. It includes books for knowledge improvement, leisure reading as well as for competitive examinations. Though the book quality won't be that appealing, it will definitely solve the purpose.
Market is very near to the Delhi Gate metro station and will be giving a mindful experience to book lovers.

Good only for famous novels that too they are mostly pirated ones that's why they sell at such cheaper rates anyway you can get the best piece by spending some time there. But to get the original copy you will have to pay the actual price also so comparing books to the price at which they are available there, I can only say it's the best place for famous author novels.
When coming to technical books either for school or college going students from any background or for competitive exam preparation, you can get it at the best deal compared to anywhere else in Delhi atleast, as I don't know about other parts of India. The people there selling books are also very cooperative except few. And am giving 4stars bcz I haven't found many of the novels from my list which then I have to order it from Amazon.

You will only Got novels, notebooks very cheap I.e. 200 /kg, But not books like alchemist etc for those you will have to pay maximum half amount of the book. Competitive examination books aren't cheap but you'll get 40% off on them here so it's better you order them on Amazon,
