I recently had the pleasure of visiting Delhi Airport during a trip, and I must say it was an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment I stepped foot into the airport, I was captivated by its grandeur, efficiency, and the array of amenities it had to offer.
First and foremost, the architectural design of Delhi Airport is truly remarkable. The modern and sleek design elements create a sense of sophistication, while the vast open spaces and natural lighting add a touch of tranquility. The airport's well-maintained facilities and cleanliness further enhance the overall aesthetic appeal.
Navigating through the airport was an absolute breeze. The signage and clear directions made it effortless to find my way around. Additionally, the airport staff members were courteous and readily available to provide assistance whenever needed. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor made me feel welcomed and well-cared for throughout my time at the airport.
Overall, my experience at Delhi Airport was nothing short of exceptional. The airport's remarkable architecture, efficient operations, and extensive amenities make it a standout among international airports. Whether you're a leisure traveler or a frequent flyer, Delhi Airport provides a world-class experience that sets a high standard for airports around the globe. I highly recommend visiting this remarkable airport and witnessing its splendor firsthand.

Metro is running very well but the crowd management is very bad just 3 ticket counters are available where the incoming crowd is more than a 100 per min. Unfortunately roads are blocked for VIP and VVIP's metro ends up with crowd
Off late it has become Quite erratic, specially in early mornings. Though the first one starts at 0445 hrs.there is no surety of 0515 hrs.and 0530 hrs. One can expect to miss their Shatabdis and Vande Bharat if you depend on Airport Metro so plan for 0445 hrs.if you wish to travel by 0515 hrs of 0530 hrs Airport Metro.
Orange Line, more popularly known as the Airport Express Line, was the first line of Delhi Metro built via a public–private partnership and intended to be operated privately. However, after Reliance Infra — the company with operational rights — admitted its inability to handle the operations, the management of the line was transferred to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. Designed to radically cut down the journey time between the city’s two busiest transit hubs — Indira Gandhi International Airport and New Delhi Railway Station — the line has a top speed of 130 km/h, the highest across the metro system. However, the operational speed is restricted to 80 km/h, after once being reduced to just 50 km/h. The line uses 1435 mm (standard gauge) tracks, six-coach trains, 25 kV AC via overhead wires and full-height platform screen doors at every station.
I have posted metro map which is from Airport Terminal till new Delhi. Dhaula kua route is also available from this way. Easily u can travel to metro from IGIA, terminal 3 and Terminal 2.
The airport metro express line is a pretty convenient way for people to reach the airport. The fares are slightly high, but decent in my opinion. The line goes all the way upto Dwarka from NDLS station.
Passenger friendly, Frequent trains, reaching the destinations very quickly. Compared to Delhi metro its expensive and i m not sure whether we can use metro card. Digital payments are accepted here.
I really wonder after visit this metro station situated under the Delhi Indira Gandhi International airport. This is such lovely decorated, very nice systematic ticketing system, neat and clean. You can go to the delhi new town within half hour from here. Great transportation system for the people.
It is available every 10 mins. I took it from New Delhi railway station to T2. I reached on time. The only problem is the metro station in the airport is located between T2 and T3 and so their is a lot to walk around 900 m to T2 and it's not well marked you will have to ask people for directions.
This is the best way to commute from airport to heart of the city. In the peak traffic hour this line is the safest, fastest, and economic and most comfortable mode of transport.
