Very disappointing and strange behaviour to our request to visit. Tried calling several times in advance and no one picked up from any of the numbers listed and kept ringing through. Despite a family connection to the Brotherhood we were denied entry upon arrival with no explanation. Something not quite right must be happening as the behaviour and atmosphere was not welcoming.
Place bears an uncanny feel of peace and serenity. Owing to it's Anglo Indian architecture which takes you back to that prehistoric era being greeted by a maginifient fountain and Castle alike entrance. Intertwined with sprawling lawn and a huge backyard.
For all you book freaks, be ready to be greeted by huge library inside the courtyard. With many a prized possessions to its claim.
If that wasn't it. Pastors, Reverends are spiritually inclined scholars oozing of warmth and affection.
