Delhi Magic

Worst experience. With high expectations, from word of mouth I came to know about Delhi magic. I drove all the way in my Isuzu V cross the sturdiest Suv, Ute, Family arrived by plane on 24th December to see and explore all Mughal relics. Me a History buff, though Hindu, have best regards and respect for our brethren Muslims, after reading through Alex Rutherford s Mughal series books, booked Delhi magic by promising Rs 4,500, the guide on 29th Dec, most unprofessional. She had no clues about Islamic history or Mughals. She just accompanied us with a grumpy, hostile face. Very bad explanation, very bad energy and efforts. Height of ignorance on Mughal and Islamic history. Very bad service by Delhi magic. The coming days, I went to another guide, Muslim gentleman who charged Rs 6000 but really took us through Delhi history. Took two sessions from him. That's when realised how bad Delhi magic is. Will never call Delhi magic.

AMAZING! This tour company was excellent across all areas - helping us quickly plan and decide on the tour we wanted, on-time and courteous driver, and very knowledgeable tour guides. We felt so well taken care of and were delighted that the tour guides were excellent photographers - the photos we took home were way better than anything we would have done on our own.

We had a wonderful experience thanks to Delhi Magic. We did a 2 day tour of Fatehpur Sikri, Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal with a driver and guides and transportation from Delhi to Agra and back. Our driver was always courteous and opened the doors for us and ensured we were comfortable with water and air conditioning. Our guides helped us understand what to expect at each location, how to interact with locals at the sites, and how best to pay (cash/credit), etc. Whenever we encountered any inconveniences they proactively resolved them for us and took so many beautiful pictures for us from the best spots/angles. I very much appreciated the printed background information that the driver provided us on the history of the sites we were visiting and I kept it as a keepsake.

The packet we received in advance with the agenda, driver/guide contact information, and tipping guidance was very much appreciated and provided me with reassurances that helped me to feel more confident going into this experience. I referenced the tipping guide for all situations and was grateful to have it as we wanted to ensure that we were appropriately and adequately tipping.

I would recommend Delhi Magic to all who wish to increase their confidence (we were 2 females traveling alone) and learn all about the history and culture of Delhi and Agra. Thanks so much Delhi Magic!

Thank you for making our trip such a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived at Delhi airport to the moment we left the service was first class. All the guides were very friendly and knowledgeable and all the tours were amazing - especially the Taj Mahal. A special mention to our escort Neeraj who was great fun and great company throughout.

I recently returned from a two and a half week trip to India covering New Delhi, Agra, Jaipur before heading up in to Shimla and Manali. I had investigated several different companies to handle the planning and accommodations and stumbled upon Delhi Magic in a travel forum. The reviews were very positive and they seemed more than willing to work with me to create an itinerary that was based on what I wanted to see and experience. We spent some time going back and forth with the planning to make sure we were all on the same page. I booked my flights and booked the trip, paying for half in advance.

I was met at the airport by a Delhi Magic representative and driver and, over the duration of my two and a half weeks in India I had several different guides and drivers. All of them were excellent, with the guides were knowledgeable and the drivers being highly skilled and accommodating.

When asked what type of accommodations I preferred I requested that they be clean, simple, nothing too fancy and that is exactly what I got. In fact, the places I stayed, mostly bed & breakfast-type places, were one of the highlights of the trip. I enjoyed talking with the owners as well as fellow travelers over breakfast each day.

I have traveled a lot and have worked with many different outfitters and travel companies. I found Delhi Magic to be one of the best. I always felt that they always had my best interests at heart, I found them extremely easy to work with and flexible, carefully considering all of my requests and discussing the logistics and how my choices would impact the overall trip. I highly recommend Delhi Magic if you are planning a trip to India. When I return I will certainly use them again.

Asked them to arrange a packed 3 day Delhi / Agra program for 2. Overall fantastic experience. Homestays they selected were nice and personal, three guides we had were all very knowledgeable and spoke good English, even the driver spoke good English and shared some good info. Especially liked the Delhi tour done by local university student.

I toured the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort with them a few days ago and it was a great experience. They picked me up from my Delhi hotel, handling all the logistics, food, water, and guide. The guide was very knowledgeable and spoke decent english. The company was very easy to email with throughout the process and they laid out all the costs properly.
They were definitely the easiest tour company to work with out of several that I've tried and I will be recommending them to my friends.
