Delhi Public School, Dwarka

The only school in the whole world that has no PTM at all in one year. Worst school ever. No idea what is happening between teachers and students. Parents never get any update on the performance of the students.

Actually i am a student here I'm loving study, because study is very easy here teachers are friendly polite also written work and home are very less and exam too

One of the worst branches of DPS in the entire country. Parents never get any update on the students. The only message you get without fail is for the monthly fee. Please don't take admission here.

School is Great but, teachers give excessive Homework to students.it is like a burden and unnecessary activities that have marks.they gave me 7 assignments at time of Final examinations I feel stressed because of this especially during online school, there is no sign of homework in offline school.that is hilarious! I'm a 8th class student and felt this

I am studying in this school in Class 11 and I will try to give a honest insight into the school:
1. The school is beautiful and has a sprawling campus of 10 acres (Largest in Dwarka) with large lawns, huge playgrounds, an auditorium, well equipped science labs, dance and music rooms, gym and swimming pool and even hostel accommodation. The classrooms are well ventilated and spacious (Not Air-conditioned). It is one of the most beautiful schools in Dwarka.

2. School faculty (Especially in senior classes) is quite responsible and teach in such a way that everyone understands what is being taught.

3. The competition level (especially in Class 11& 12) is very very high and the difficulty level of examinations is quite high (highest in Dwarka). If the student cannot cope up with competition then things can be quite tough.

4. The school is quite focused on studies and the timetables are designed in such a way that least time gets wasted.

5. Admission to the school in nursery is quite difficult and most of the times, a donation fee of 4-5 Lacs is charged.

6. Admission to Class 11 is really easy. They admit 100-150 students in Class 11 for all streams combined without charging any donation fee. So if you don't have enough money for nursery admission then try it in Class 11. Any student who has scored 90+ in 10th Board can easily get admission irrespective of his/her parent's status or qualifications.

7. The bus fleet is quite large and goes to quite far-off places. So transportation is not an issue.

Overall, it is the best school in Dwarka with an excellent campus, awesome teachers and lots of facilities. Donation for nursery admission and extremely high competition in class 11 & 12 (Due to admission of hundreds of academically excellent students) are two issues but otherwise the school is perfect. I am very satisfied personally

It is in Sector 4, Near main road, lots of parking space, education is good there is also one government school. Teachers is very educated. Bus service is also provided by this school. 4 of 5

Nice School in Dwarka. Good Infrastructure of the school with huge playground and classrooms are also in good condition. Staffs Members are also sincere and well mannered. Best facilities of education are provided to the students.

Couldn’t have been more satisfied, my bud bhruv (name changed to protect identity) has been studying in this school since he was potty trained (which wasn’t long ago), for some reason he keeps burping and gagging after coming back from school and even doctor Rahul couldn’t diagnose his problem. He’s been rejected by a girl in his 11th year, and always complains about this place smelling of cheese (weird gourmet one).
Would be helpful if girls could stop rejecting my bud bhruv.

The school's admission department is not ready to comment on the denial of entry to the EWS candidates selected through the lucky draw. They hung up on me in the middle of a telephonic conversation. Obnoxious!

0 star I want to give to this school because of i was filling the form for this school but there was some confusion just to clear, i was call to but whenever i called to them they were busy but after some time I called up again and at that time phone was ringing but they didn't pick ma call, and it happened 5 or 6 times. The school who can't resolve parents problems so how they will of student. Now I don't want get admission of ma child in this school

My daughter's are studying here since primary standard. They focus primarily on studies, fully complying with Government rules and regulations but least bothered about overall development. I could not get the issue resolved even after multiple requests. During middle and higher Classes their attention towards students is not very much appreciable. Lack of discipline is one of the major issue they need to look at. Overall it's good. One should not have very high expectations particularly if the student is not very sound academically.

Good school with education as main objective. Preparing students with the latest information to make competitive decisions

There is literally no discipline between the teachers, they lose their cool instantly and many times make decisions violently. They look at children like their property. The principal is a fat gay irresponsible lady.
She never takes any action against her staff.

It's a good school in Dwarka. You need to stop at DPS Matiala bus stop if you are from public transport.

A very sad story of DPS Dwarka school teacher beating kid mercilessly, and Principal and Vice Principal terming it as normal is as under: -

It was a regular school day, the teacher which had to take our class in the 2nd last period was busy/absent, so the substitute teacher, Mrs Madhuri Sharma was alloted the period. When she entered the class, she was looking totally normal.

She was doing some work on the teachers desk when some kids started flying planes in the class. Gradually, everyone including me joined in. Madhuri Ma'am got agitated by the incident and started scolding all of us. Post that, we started obeying the teacher. My friend, XXXXXXXXX made a new plane which was in my hand and i let go of it by mistake.

I was sitting in the fourth row and the plane travelled till the first bench in the third row when it got stuck in another of my friend's hair. Her name was XXXXXXXXXX. She was sitting right in front of Madhuri Ma'am. Madhuri Ma'am got really furious with this and shouted in a very shrill and loud noise "Who did this? ". Out of sheer guilt, I raised my hand and everyone was looking towards me. The next thing i know, Madhuri Ma'am came dashing towards me, she didn't say anything but started slapping me, pulling my ears and hair.this went on for a minute at least.

She started breathing very heavily and the bell rang so, she left the class without saying a word. My whole face was aching very badly and i felt a shooting pain in my lower jaw. My eyes were wet and i wanted to cry but i stopped myself as it was already very embarrassing. XXXXXX, XXXXX & XXXXXX who were sitting beside me, asked me to go to the clinic after washing my face as it was red as a tomato.

I didn't feel like doing anything or talking to anyone. The rest of the class left for the art education class which is held in the dance room. I was feeling very helpless and confused about my further course of action. I wanted to go to the counseling chamber but it struck me that they would know about the consequences of corporal punishment (for the punisher) and would try to protect the school. There was one teacher who I fully believed in and she was Mrs Shalini Sharma. She taught me Hindi in classes VI, VII & VIII. I tried looking for her but i couldn't find her anywhere.

There was nothing i could do so I went to the dance room and just sat in a corner. After about 10 minutes, the class diary monitor, Jaya asked me to meet our Class Representative, Madam Poonam Sinha as she had summoned me. I went to the Biology Laboratory to meet her. She started saying that how she gets a lot of complaints from teachers about me and she never forwards them to the higher authorities. Similarly, Madhuri Ma'am made a mistake and i shouldn't drag the matter any further. I didn't say anything and the discussion came to an end as the bell rang. While going down the stairs, I thought if i should tell my father about the incident as Poonam Ma'am made it clear that i shouldn't drag the matter anymore. Also, my father would have definitely taken an action against the teacher to which the school would have retaliated by troubling me by indirect means. After this incident, I had become a very anxious person. My concentration span became very short and i used to stay distracted. I used to avoid talking to my friends as they used to make polite jokes about that. I used to laugh with them but it always left me in a depressed state as it was a very rough phase for me.i couldn't talk about it at home, neither report it on my own.

I had not retaliated to this incident BY ANY MEANS. Had i done anything out of line with the school's discipline, I would have been issued a red card / yellow card which is issued to a student who doesn't behave properly. In fact, I had become a very silent person and started avoiding communication with authoritative figures after that incident which is totally contrary with what the school is accusing me of.
