Best momos I've eaten. We ordered vegetable and cheese momos and both were excellent. The shop is located in the Janpath market and is not easy to find, but is definitely worth a visit. Thank you
Depaul's the original. This is another place that has not changed for years but they have added to their menu. Have a sandwich or a Cheese ball (paneer ball) with their famous cold coffee or milk shake now. They do have hot drinks also. If you are in CP and looking for a snack break find depaul's it is worth it
There was a time when it used to be to be good. But now its below average. Even the guy who use to sell momos outside this shop now has his own shop in same lane. Coffee is overated. Way to sweet to enjoy.
Well, I had the misfortune of having world’s most oily patty yesterday at Depauls and falling sick with stomach infection. Highly overrated. It was surely be my last visit.
I have been visiting this place since decades. I love the cold coffee. The glass bottled one somehow seems authentic and tastier. It brings back my childhood memories. I suggest that people who visit the outlet for take away, can be served coffee in clay or ceramic bottles. This will be an eco friendly, earthy way. It will also provide employment to the poor.
Good place u can eat every single items.all items are reasonable price and mainly taste was just awesome I like depaul's thank you such a great taste since years
Have been going to Depaul's even before they had moved to the Indian Oil Building when it was a popular cosmetics shop, then they created the FAMOUS COLD COFFEE which is not only popular but became a RAGE with the college crowd, the young lawyers from all the 3 main courts. Patiala House, High Court, Supreme Court. Actually it's also called a HEP ADDA. Now it's THE place for sandwiches, cheese balls and momos. Absolutely value for money. Do go there and then take a walk to the main Connaught Place corridor, don't forget to salute our national flag which is our pride
Highly overrated. The taste is soo average. A lot more better options can be found nearby. The food they serve was found stale many times. The coffee and momos are not worthy enough to spend your hard earned money.
My favorite place for the last 20 years. One may get here choices for snacks and relished the drinks of many variables. Prices are reasonable, quality is good.
Momos are ok, not sure why the hype is so much. Too many people buy it and most of the pieces were broken. The coffee priced at 70 Rs is just water + sugar and slight coffee with hardly any milk. Need to stop fooling customers just remember it is your customers+ quality what made you reach this level. Don't let it drop
Tried their "famous" cold coffee today and I must say it was one of the worst drinks I have tried in a while. Though the coffee flavour is strong, the consistency is very very watery which makes it more of bitter concoction than a milk based drink. Also the price for one small bottle is 70 bucks which is slightly expensive to what they offer. This place is quite overhyped to what it is. Then again different people have different tastes:)
An old time favorite. Better known for its classic cold coffee for faithful aficionados. New flavors have found their way in the menu as a sign of keeping up with the times. Sip the marvels on the sidewalk.it's a treat.
Visiting since 1985.a coffee spot with a mini store for personal makeup products.have variety of coffee and limited number of take away snacks. Coffee and paneer ball is good. Infront of it, some shoes polishing is done, good one, while sipping coffee, get shoes done too. Flea market area, buy unbranded less expensive clothes, bargaining is an art. Good for around 1-2 hr time spending.
They have created such a hype about this place I tried it just because it had so many good reviews but after trying it was totally waste of money and time. The taste of coffee was below average.it is better to go with tapri vali chai.
A gem in the mid of busy center of Delhi * I love the Roasted Almond Cold Coffee. * Besides that they have other flavors of cold milk and coffee Hazelnut, caramel, Butterscotch, strawberry, vanilla, chocolate roasted almond, walnut flavor cold milk Ice tea, nimbus, etc So see the range of drinks. It feels like heaven on a hot summer day.
* Another must try is their Cheese Balls. Pair it with cold coffee. Besides that they have sandwiches too. * The place is crowded but service is quick * Reasonably priced
Worst experience. Overpriced as well and i bought 5 patties today and all the patties were rotten. They where having bad smell as well. I think they were selling items which is expired. Do not go there
Serves coffee in plastic cups which is very very harmful to drink. Should start using paper cups or some other better alternative. Can charge customers some extra for this.
The coffee and shakes were quite good and so was the food.the only issue I had was that there was no seating arrangement and so we found It really hard to enjoy the food especially under the scorching hot sun
The coffee was pretty affordable and they had such huge variety of the same but most of them were unavailable. I tried hazelnut and oreo coffee and to be honest they both tasted same like regular coffee nothing special.
The place is overrated The cold coffee is more of water rather than milk. Stuffing/Filling in momos is really less. Taste too is not up to the mark. Not recommended. Situated in janpath market. Better to go for any other momos shop.
The Cosmetics, Coffee & Snack Shop located on 22 Janpath, Indian Oil Bhavan Corridor is an institution in itself. It stands tall and proud as one of the few remaining old haunts of Dilwaalon ki Dilli. Known widely for its perfect blend of frothy cold coffee & consistency throughout the years, it has managed to withstand the big bad wolves like CCD, Costa, Barista & Starbucks.
I can say with utter confidence that there does not exist any true Dilliwaala who hasn’t visited the infamous Depaul’s. The name itself is sure to stir up conversations stemming from fond memories and nostalgia between friends, students, colleagues and thinkers. Be it discussing philosophy & politics right in the middle of the capital city or whiling away time after bunking lectures to getting that much needed kick of caffeine after the endless bargaining at Janpath, Depaul’s has managed to be everyone’s first choice in the bustling market of Janpath & Connaught Place.
The reason why Depaul’s has successfully continued and further strengthened its legacy is because it emits an aura of permanence & culture in an otherwise fast-paced world where producers are driven not by their craft but by their desire to be number 1.
They want to know your form of payment before you buy coffee.aren't too happy if you say payment is anything but cash as they have such a tough time bringing the scan code to us. Two coffees and one plate momos cost 210. Coffee is diluted and no more the same taste as it used to be years back. The coffee and service both have deteorated over time.
The taste of cold coffee has really deteriorated. I had liked it earlier but this time it tasted dreadful. They have started mixing a lot of water. On complaining them about the bad quality, the reply was that this is the most selling and it's not bad, it depends on your taste. Wouldn't recommend anyone trying.
It's good, their variance of cold coffee is awesome. You can get plenty of coffee types and flavours and next to it is located a good momo shops. Well only thing I deducted points on is quantity is precisely very less.
Depauls at cannaught place is best to have a quick bite or on a go meal while shopping. The sandwich and cold coffee there are superb and a must try.loved it. Follow me guys if you like my reviews. Thank you Happy exploring?
Visited Depaul's and it is located in Janpat market. I tried their signature Cold Coffee (Hazelnut and Moccha coffee). The coffee was yumm whereas they have momos also. It is always crowded and super noisy. There is no place of sitting as well. Mocha coffe was little bit strong coffee. So I recommend you to try there hazelnut coffee. Highly recommended
This place is good to have short snacks - sandwiches / cheese ball / cold coffee. I have been visiting this outlet for last 30 yrs. It takes me back to my school - college days wen friends n all hangout there. I must say one should try cheese ball & sandwiches
I like the sandwiches here. They have different varieties of sandwiches. All are very tasty. And cheeseball also is a must try snack. Prices are not expensive. Recommend, if someone is near to janpath area.
My dad has been visiting this place for almost two decades now. It was our favourite snack shop in Cannaught Place!
For the last 2-3 years, I have noticed considerable change in the quality of some products.
While the cold coffee and paneer ball still remain all time favourites, the momos are extremely disappointing. I think they should simply cut it off. The quality is so bad that I won't shy away from saying that it serves the most pathetic momos in the city.
For true-blue Delhiites, Depaul's is known for one thing and one thing only, their cold coffees. Do yourself a favour and grab 'em on the go. Everything else is passable.
The best place to eat in Janpath. Excellent quality of food.the price are also totally worth the QoS. Loved the place.great for friends to hang out.even good for couples. Must visit if you love to try new food.their momos are the best in town
Very costly.and very common coffee for the price.it feels like 60%milk and 30%water. For 70-80 RS you just get 2 sips of coffee.nothing fancy about this place
Cold coffee is my huge love, when I found this place, I came here and tried Hazelnut Coffee and that was seriously amazing. I loved their way of serving coffee, they serve coffee in bottles.
The best place to have Cheese Balls and Momos, located inside the Janpath Market. Now I come to the speciality of the place i.e. Cheese balls they are just awesome. Even a single piece of cheese ball so full filling. Actually at DePaul's their all products are too good. The best thing is prices are very reasonable and quality is well maintained. Highly recommended!
A really old place on the streets of janpath. But one of the best cold coffees available in delhi at cheap price.one of the most recommended place to have coffee while shopping around in hot summers of Delhi. It's a very good escape to keep hydrated in summer, a good chilled coffee with such nice taste and appropriately priced.
It was very nice trip of Europe. Our guide Saurabh Miglani was with us from 9th to 17th June. He was very nice caring cooperative to all age of tourists. This is my 4th trip with de Paul. Right from transfers hotels & food kwality everything was upto the mark being in a group of 44 tourist from different states we felt as it was like a family once again thanks to de Paul for providing us excellent hospitality
Heard many times from the people that if you are going to Janpath don't forget to visit Depauls. As per my experience its just a normal shop which is over crowded and there is nothing special about it. Food taste is normal and staff behavior is too bad. I won't recommend it to anyone. Still everyone don't have same taste so you can try and write down your reviews.
Depaul's holds a significant nostalgic value in the hearts of all Delhiites & rightly so. Located in the famous Janpath Bhawan at Connaught Place, this small little cafe is perhaps the best point there to satisfy the hunger pangs one can get while shopping. All the items available are reasonably priced which won't burn a hole in your pocket. Try their Momos, Cheese Ball & cold coffee (also available as sugar free) among all the other snacks they serve.
