Owner is a thief.never buy any packed snack or sweets.they mention wrong weight on the box. I myself heard him saying if it measures around 700 gms write 1 kg on box. Behaviour wise he thinks himself as the boss of customer. Better reach out good tasty food on clock tower instead of visiting this pathetic shop.
Service is pathetic. I waited for an hour for samosas while I had guests at home. The delivery boy was on the way or about to leave every time I called them. When I angrily cancelled the order, they simply said okay and cut the call. This happened on a weekday so no weekend rush or anything like that.
But if the food is great and the service is bad, they are worth ordering from, right? However that is simply not the case.
The filling of their samosa is strictly average and has virtually no flavor or spices.
Packaged papdis taste stale and have tasted stale every time i have purchased from them over the past couple of years.
The filling of spring rolls is extra salty.
When prices of deewan sweets are similar to bigger stores like om sweets, Aggarwal sweets, standard burfee and the service is pathetic and the food is average at best, why would anyone continue to order from Deewan sweets?
The owner and staff of the shop always behave rudely. They lack basic manners. Probably they behave the same manner in their homes as well. Treat your customers with respect. And regarding quality and variety, it's below average. Quality and variety is nothing compared to nearby shops like om sweets.
Kindly change the person at the cash counter. He is rude and misbehaves with the customers. Probably he may behave in the same way at his home. But we are customers who buy below quality sweets from this shop at an overrated price. Learn how to respect people.
Indian sweets are collectively called Mithai which is derived from the word mitha which means sweet. There are many varieties of specific types of Indian sweets which are usually a derivative of the original recipe for the sweet.
Let’s look at the most common types of Mithai that people consume especially at special occasions like weddings, parties and functions, and festivals like Diwali, Eid and Vaisakhi.
Many of the recipes for the sweets originated centuries ago with many of the sweets being cooked at home.
They don't know to treat customer with respect. Rude behavior from staff. Quality is below average. The very moment, a good sweet shop open nearby, their business will decline. Learn some basic manners. We are buying below average quality products from you at an overpriced rate.
A local sweet shop located in the residential complex, they serve all types of sweets, Rasgulla, Gulab Jamun, Ras Malai, Thanda Milk, Burfi, Kalakand, Milk Cake, Other sweets, They Serve Samsosa, Jalebi fresh every day. Just improvise on sweets and keep servings good food. Their Curd, Paneer and Mathri, Fries Snacks are good to try.
Excellent quality, all sweets are good, the best amongst them is Kalakand & Milk cake, Gajar ka halwa a must.a bit overpriced in some other snacks.like paneer pakora, assorted pakoras, chowmins etc.but the standing point "quality"
I feel this place is overrated and if a sweet shop opens near this place, I would love to visit that outlet instead of coming to Dewan Sweets. For 3 main reasons; 1. Their food is average. They only have an advantage that there is no other sweets shop nearby, hence, people settle in for their outlet. 2. Staff is not welcoming atall and mostly rude. Just ask them for a tissue paper and they will react as if we have asked for something personal. Not even an acknowledgement sometimes. 3. I don't know why they are overpriced. Any item you choose will be atleast 25% marked up. Simply cheating people. If you charge high, you give quality food atleast, but here, no quality at all and priced at a 5* rate.
Dewan sweets is one of the best sweet shop in Hari Nagar. The sweets are always fresh and delicious in taste. Our go to place for all the special occasions and festivals. Mucb recommended.
This store is nice but store keeper and staff are like misbehaving with the customers and today i ask for spoons and keeper said we have no spoons and he hiding his spoon box from me
This place is 6km away from my home in Greater Noida. But I always go to this shop to enjoy golgappe, tikki, chaat, snacks and quick breakfast like Aloo Paratha, Chole Bhature etc. Once I ordered 100 Samosa, 4Kg Dhokla, 4kg Jalebi for mini party, they just delivered everything in just 45 minutes. Best place to order quick snacks for small party.
It is very old mithai shop in the area. It is professionaly managed by the owners. It serves namkin as well as snacks. Samosa, paneer pakoda, bread pakora etc.are USP. Variety is limited but quality is consistent and good. Home delivery is efficient.
