Dr. Aditya Jain

Primus has always been one of my go-to hospitals because of their doctors. But, that only doctor who always has been a hook to me is Dr. Aditya Jain. He is a god-send for me and my family. I would love to quote two stories here in his appreciation.

1. I suffered an acute neck spasm during the fall of 2020. I was based out of Mumbai; therefore, I had gone to the best of the doctors here. Literally, all the doctors that I went to asked me to undergo such diagnosis as MRI, CT-Scan, among others. I got all those tests done, post which I was told that I have developing symptoms of cervical spondylosis. Following that, I was asked to be on bed-rest for a week on an ergonomic pillow without any phone, TV or book. Filled with despair, I reached Dr. Aditya at Primus on 7th November 2020. He understood the issue so well with just basic diagnosis even without any a MRI or a CT-Scan. I believe a basic diagnosis such as blood tests are important, as they helped him understand the inflammation and deficiencies in my body. I guess as a young doctor, he understands the problems of youngsters pretty well. He is super compassionate and generous.

He gave me medicines, mostly muscle relaxation and supplements, for two weeks and physiotherapy for 15 days. This worked as a miracle, I was running and working out by the end of December 2020.
I was so happy with the treatment that I sent five of my friends and family, who were suffering from some problem or other.

2. Following a small accident, my mother visited several doctors for her shoulder injury. All the doctors she had visited recommended her arthroscopy, but I was not convinced so I took her to Dr. Aditya in January 2021. He told her three step process to treat - 1.medicines and physiotherapy, 2.if the first does not work then some IV to treat it and 3. Arthroscopy as a last resort, She was treated just at the first step.
A same story goes for my father, who is suffering from Sciatica. He is suffering from left side paralysis, and sciatica has made walking impossible for him. Dr. Aditya understood the problem on the very first visit and gave him the right treatment at the right time.

Not just this, when my father was admitted in the hospital on Saturday, 17th September 2022, for his surgery. My mother requested to the Dr. Aditya's staff to send him to ward as my father was suffering from the same pain. He very promptly came to the ward for the consultation.
I am not in the same city as my parents are, but such generosity from a doctor has surely made him my go-to doctor for all the ortho issues. Unlike other doctors, he is very clear that the medicines and physio should be the first plan of action and the surgery should only be performed, if nothing else works out.

My experience with Dr jain is very good. He is very good and his behaviour is very good with is patients. His medicines will always work for me. Thank u sir.

This man just did not want to hear me out. I waited for so long till it was my turn, I even let other patients go first and he also took time to scold his staff for being incompetent during my turn. I had just began and I tried to explain that I am sort of broke as a student, and really wanted to ask him if there is some way to ease the pain for a bit etc.and ask for more details, but he kept talking over me, telling me he can only perform surgery if I get these blood tests done, and he does not know any other way to do treatment because he is an AIIMS professional doctor (ok we get it.so is everyone at Primus) and will not even hear me out once. He literally also said "this is the procedure.if you want to follow it, do it. If you don't do it also, I don't care". I mean, he might have as well just said he has no interest in dealing with people who cannot pay so much. Why will you not let your patients talk or explain, Dr. Aditya Jain? And why only on my turn did you just want to finish everything off quickly? With other patients he took so much time and patience. Is it because I looked non well-to-do? Or because I was north east Indian? Or because I was alone and a college kid that you did not take me seriously? He may have superior skills in his art, but he has an inferior personality.

Dr. Aditya Jain is an amazing person. One of the best orthopedic surgeon in Delhi. He’s a good listener and explains everything very nicely. The medicines prescribed by him are very effective.

Dr Aditya Jain is a very professional and skilled doctor. I had ligament tear near ankle. His diagnosis, treatment and care was praiseworthy. He puts the patient at ease and explains the situation well. Highly recommended.
