Worst human being.when people visit a doctor and that too a nephro, understand how much tense a person could be, but this fellow being rude to patients and if you ask a question or two he literally throw the file at ur face and says show me your medical degree.dsnt even listen to all the symptoms all the issues one going through. Apollo should throw him out.

One of the best Nephrologist in India. My father Mr Balram Choudhary is patient of CKD and is under treatment of Dr Ashok Sarin since last 2 years. Hats off to his treatment. He accepts the challenges and provide unexpected benefits to the patient, who comes with a great hope to him. Other Nephrologist will put the patient on dialysis but it's only Dr Ashok Sarin who recovers the patient with medicines and brings all the parameters within range. Really thank u sir.

Mr. Sarin is highly influenced by money. I had a very ugly experience with him while doing a video consultation from Nepal. I paid his full fee i.e. Indian currency Rs. 2500 for not even a 15 minutes time of him. He was in so much of hurry as if he is talking to me for free and constantly tried to hang up the call telling me that he has other patients waiting when I had booked his appointment 3 days prior the video consultation. This started from the very beginning of the consultation, the first thing he said to me was, "Oh, I charge higher price for international patient. " which I understand and maybe I would have paid him that extra money even though I paid his full amount which is definitely not cheap. Since I was calling from Nepal, he constantly made me feel worst about his fee through out the call.

Moreover, when I was asking question, he was getting so agitated. As I previously mentioned, he is so money minded, unfriendly and unapproachable. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone, I was shocked how a doctor like his age and expertise be so influenced by money.

He also shouted my friend from India who helped me take his appointment and he had no interest to know my husband's problem and reports. I am so sorry to have known a doctor like Ashok Sarin who is very unprofessional, greedy and arrogant. I can write so many other things he portrayed in that merely 10 minutes consultation.

I m really unhappy with the treatment of Dr. Ashok Sarin. He is really impatient. My father had gout and it was quite noticeable. When he video called, he accused my father of rather lying about the condition. No matter what it was, Dr. Sarin has no right to accuse or insult his patients. Please have a distinct understanding of being a doctor and a God, don't confuse them as the same job.

I got to know about Dr. Sarin when I was frantically looking for a nephrologist for my dad in the middle of the pandemic. My dad had been suffering from CKD for a couple of years and his condition worsened during the pandemic as he could not see his regular nephrologist since Covid-19 broke out. After reading the stellar reviews I decided to make an online appointment with Dr. Sarin via Apollo 24x7. I live in San Francisco, California, my parents live in Hooghly, West Bengal and Dr. Sarin is in Delhi! Hence, in the beginning I was apprehensive that this would not work out. It was difficult to coordinate the appointments and follow-ups, especially with the pandemic sweeping through the world. After the first appointment we started following Dr. Sarin's prescription meticulously. The plant-protein-based diet and medications worked wonders and in a few months we could see the improvement. Dad's creatinine level dropped significantly. Knowing our Bengali food-habit he later on relaxed the plant-based diet a bit to intermittently allow animal protein.

It will soon be two years since he started seeing my dad and in these two years neither my dad nor I have met Dr. Sarin in-person! Dr. Sarin has done it again despite thousands of kilometers of distance between us!

I started my treatment with him when i first time I got to know about the condition i was in CKD.

It's a genuine review because I came out of his trap and money treatment. He is a biggest fraud in my entire doctor history. Who can kill you for his own benefit to just earn money from your illness. I don't know in what hurry he is always. When a patient is paying for the visit they expect to be heard to be diagnosed not to be just for a quick 2 min thing.

He hates when family member asks questions related to any the abou tthe treatment. He wants the medicine to be taken from his person and charge you triple than the market.

If you wanna live and have a good treatment and a place where u feel secure first step leave him.he is a cheat doctor

Search on google that he has been in to kidney police cases.

They are great doctor in max and gangaram.
Any way u r going to spend money in your treatment just give it to the right person who values your life.

My father diagnosed with asthma problem and during the treatment his kidney damaged by acute failure. His creatinine increased to 8.5 where 3-4 senior nephrologists advised us for immediate hospitalisation and dialysis. Then we took an appointment of Dr. Ashok Sarin of Apollo Hospital and he discussed and gave time for more than 30 minutes and suggested that hospitalisation is required but due to age of my father 72 years who has single kidney, he advised us to take two medicines and come after 4 days.

The medicines given by Dr. Ashok Sarin did miracle and creatinine falls to 8.0 from 8.5 in 4 days and my father started eating some fruits and half bowl of dal rice.

After 4 days we again visited to Dr. Sarin who checked the report and then with smiling face he said “Balle Balle ho gayi” which gives confidence to us. Then he said Come after 10-12 days. And after 1 week when we again done KFT the creatinine falls to 3.0 from 8.0.
And after 5 days it falls to 1.38. Now he gave medicines for 1 month and his creatinine is 0.9 and my father is absolutely fine.

So, I suggested to everyone who wants to take any opinion and get treatment from one of the best Nephrologists in India please vist Dr. ASHOK SARIN.

A god-like figure for our family. He has stood beside us, as a doctor and a voice of reason, for the last 03 years. A true gentleman and a fantastic doctor.

Very impatient and rude doctor. Kidney patient and family goes through very tough times whenever they come to know about such a dreadful disease of their loved ones. Critical disease is handled psychologically, by listening the concerns of patients family and patient's itself. It is a duty of doctor to explain what's happening with the patients body and what they should be prepared for. Dr Sarin has never given us more than 2-3 mins to council us about my sisters condition. His only Aim was to see as many patients possible in his Working times.

Even for minor things, he asked us to pay consultation fees, and even after paying his fees, he used to give us 2 sentence answers without giving any satisfactory response. I tried to ask him my doubts and concerns lot of times, but he just sunbbed me.

After being under his supervision for more than 15 months My sisters ceratine in reports came 4.8. He refuse to talk to us without payment and even after paying his fees he just told us that "this keeps on increasingly and decreasing". And this is after taken his consultation for more than 8-10 times. He is only interested in consultancy fees of 2000 plus in his commission of medicines from agents.

There are lot of good Nephrologist in Delhi NCR with far better attitude. Would not recommend to anyone facing Crital disease such as kidney failure or CKD.
